A solo 100 metros de la Piazza del Comune de Asís se encuentra la entrada a este encantador apartamento. A través de 6 pasos cómodos, se accede al espacio abierto de la planta baja con sala de estar.

El salón consta de un cómodo sofá cama, 2 sillones y una mesa de comedor. En la parte posterior de la habitación se encuentra la moderna cocina con fogones de inducción, equipada con lavaplatos.

A través de una escalera de madera y hierro forjado se accede al loft característico donde hay un dormitorio con cama doble, suelo de madera y TV, baño con ducha de cristal.

El estilo minimalista y elegante encaja perfectamente con la arquitectura tradicional de la zona. El apartamento, recientemente restaurado y cuidadosamente restaurado, a través de un meticuloso trabajo de restauración, realza sus características distintivas, como paredes de piedra, grandes vigas de madera y la escalera de hierro / madera.

Laura was willing to check us in in-person at 11pm after we missed our train. It was a great experience! The house was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, and the laundry machine worked well.

Lovely Loft

The accommodations were just what we required. Located just steps away from the piazza, this lovely loft is tucked away behind Temple Minerva. Away from the busy streets you can enjoy peace and solitude, yet close enough to enjoy all the hilltop villages amenities.

The Loft is a very nice place but there was an issue with the shower. It takes a while to adjust water temperature before using the shower. Other than that, we had a nice stay.

Spacious Serenity

I felt secluded but in the center of things. My only regret that I did not stay longer. There could be a couple more fans but it was comfortable. I cannot stress how serene it was! And Laura was amazing. She is a great person and everything top notch.

Gorgeous apartment

This was a gorgeously renovated ancient residence. It was centrally located, not far from the local bus stop, and steps away from the central piazza (Temple of Minerva). The home had a loft bedroom, a washer, drying rack and fully equipped kitchen. Laura, left a large vase full of lilacs that made the place smell wonderful ! The huge wooden beams, stone floors , & walls, transport you back in time while providing modern conveniences.

Fantastic!

We were so pleasantly surprised when we reached the apt.! It is nice and roomy and at the same time, very comfortable and cozy. The room was light, but we could almost completely darken for sleep. Additionally, the noise level was next to none. Great location for everything in Assisi! In all fairness those with limited mobility issues, the stairs could be a hindrance.Thank you, Laura!!!!!

Can't Say Enough!!

Our entire experience was SO FANTASTIC; and I'm surprised that there are not more reviews (volume) of this wonderful loft apartment. This is definitely one of the best-kept-secrets in Assisi lodging! The apartment is a little tough to find and to get to; but Laura goes out of her way to make sure she finds you. The irony is, the apartment is in a perfect quiet location just off of the main piazza; and once you've arrived, you quickly realize it was worth the little bit of effort (remember, Assisi is a hilly town)!! The apartment is spacious, super clean, and the bed is so comfortable! If we're ever in Assisi again, we will go right back to this wonderful apartment!

Perfect loft for 2-4 people off main square

This loft apartment is in a convenient location off the main town square and, as the photos indicate, it is modest yet stylishly decorated. By local standards, the loft is large. The main bedroom and extremely small bathroom/shower is located up a narrow, steep staircase, so be sure you are comfortable negotiating steps. But of course, that is required for accessing everything In Assisi! The downstairs pull out couch worked well for one teenager, and could accommodate two small children. While we didn't cook in the apartment, we boiled water for coffee and used the refrigerator for keeping drinks cool – which worked well for us. Also, the unit's Wi-Fi worked well. My restaurant recommendation is the restaurant in the La Roca hotel, at the top of the town. We ate both indoors, and outdoors, and outside enjoyed the stunning vista on their patio in the evening at sunset. We had delicious, and extremely affordable, meals. Enjoy!

Beautiful spot in Assisi

Absolutely delightful location in Assisi. Spotlessly clean. Loved the stone and wood beams. Laura was very informative and helpful the day we arrived. So glad we stayed here and would definitely return/recommend.

The most charming city and apartment I've ever stayed in!

Laura was incredibly kind and accommodating! She had everything set up for our arrival with 9 people - even a baby crib. The location is magnificent - right in the heart of Assisi. It transports one back to a much simpler and quieter time and place.

Very central apartment in Assisi

If you are looking for a nice apartment close to the center, this is it! We enjoyed our stay in Laura's apartment very much. Pros: location, modern kitchen, quiet at night, good water pressure in the shower, lovely hostess, Laura (She even moved our laundry from the washer to the dryer and then delivered it! The washer is in her bed and breakfast unit next door.) Cons: Laura wasn't available to meet us so we had no one to give us tips about Assisi, very small bathroom, ok bed but not great, squeaky door and floor upstairs, loud water rushing sounds, parking (We unloaded in the nearby square but were afraid to leave the car there unattended, so my daughter and I had to bring everything up the street/steps while my husband waited with the car 3-5 minutes walk from the apartment. Then we moved the car to near the fort where we could park for free about 15 minutes walk uphill from the apartment.) All said, we would still recommend this apartment and choose to stay here again.

Beautiful location for a perfect vacation

This was our first trip to Italy and we wanted to stay in a small town, close to the piazza. We were looking for something away from tourists but close enough to things to do. This location was everything we hoped it would be. The apartment was very large and clean. The interior is simple but had everything we needed. If you like to cook on your own, the kitchen is fully stocked with supplies and there is a local market right around the corner. I do suggest that if you would like to have fresh towels at some point during your stay, that you make it known when you check in. It isn't automatic. A couple of other notes - Assisi is very hilly so take that into account when you bring your luggage. If you drive, use the parking that Laura suggests. It's free but you will need to be able to navigate the narrow walled streets to get out of town. We loved learning to drive there but it's certainly worth knowing before you go. I can only give this location very high marks. I would definitely stay here again.

Very bright, spacious, clean located just steps away from the town center.

Mrs. Casadio is a gracious, caring person who met us at the train station to drive us to the Loft Apartment. She lives next door so it is easy to make a small request. Being a bit fluent in Italian will be helpful or get the Italian Google translator and you should do fine. Walking into the space is a wow moment. It is so airy, off-white with old stone for the walls. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with hanging space and two chest of drawers. Plenty of space to unpack. The bed is comfortable. The dark curtains upstairs allow you to sleep in since it does provide sufficient darkness in the morning. However, you can certainly pull the curtains back if you like to wake by natural sunlight. We made a lot of use in the kitchen as we dined in 6 of the 7 nights while we were there. The appliances and kitchen equipment were good. There is a microwave, no regular oven. You do need to be in ressonably good health in getting around Assisi since it is hilly. So i would not advise your visit to the town if you are wheelchair or walker dependent. Overall, it was a fabulous stay with great accommodations, location, gracious hostess. What more could you ask for? Yes, we would return.

a traveller to Umbria

spent 5 nights in this lovely loft, a perfect place for a couple to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Assisi' the building dates to the 14th century and has been restored with natural stone and exposed beams. you will feel like medieval royalty, except with hot water, a well stocked kitchen and wifi. we used this location to visit other towns in Umbria and a vineyard or two. also, the location is a few steps from the town center, PIazza delle Commune, but the Via Tiberio is stone staircase and the adjoining "streets" are narrow sidewalks not accessible to cars. this makes for a very quiet evening.

Meraviglioso!

A wonderful apartment in beautiful Assisi! My wife and I stayed in the loft, and it was perfect for us. Comfortable and spacious living room with kitchen and tv downstairs, and large bedroom upstairs, along with the bathroom. Our hostess, Laura, was very friendly and accessible. She provided clear directions for temporary parking for unloading and then long term free parking, and greeted us upon arrival (even though we were late arriving). Laura also gave us a good map and recommendations, as well as access to the laundry facilities in the separate unit next door. Our apartment was in a fantastic location, just a quick walk from the main Piazza del Comune with shops and bars (including Bar Trovellesi, which was our first and last stop each day, and Bottega dei Sapori, which has everything you need to stock the apartment), but tucked away on a residential street away from the crowds and noise. If we return to Assisi, I would definitely rebook here. Grazie mille, Laura!

Luxurious Medieval Charm, IMMACULATE- Best BEST location!

I'm going to try to keep this review short but could go on endlessly about Laura and her "La zuppa inglese apartments" in Assisi. We stayed in the ultra-luxury suite located in the main building at Via Tiberia,12. The location was superb, just steps from the main Commune Plaza and easy parking... also, just far enough for complete peace but close enough to hear the glorious bell tower chiming throughout the day. We also, as many other reviewers had mentioned, had a difficult time finding the location when we first arrived but Laura was quick to meet and escort us to our accommodations. I was so impressed by the absolutely IMMACULATE & STYLISH accommodations. What I wasn't expecting was: fresh baked (by Laura) delicious tortes every morning, luxurious robes, slippers, sheets and towels, fresh fruit bowl and water in the room daily and almost 24 hour concierge service (Laura stepped in and saved the day when our bike guide flaked out and "forgot" about our booking), excellent restaurant suggestions and a happy, perpetually giggly hostess. There are SO many choices for accommodations in Assisi but I can say without hesitation that we chose the best in Assisi. Just a couple suggestions: 1) Bring earplugs no matter where you stay in Assisi- the bells are loud and start at 7am. 2) Use Google Translator to communicate with Laura, although she speaks basic English, with all the apartments she manages, it just makes things easier on both sides 3)ask for her restaurant recommendations- we ate like kings amongst the Italians and if you're into bike riding. 4) ask her to set up a day biking through Umbria with Enrico- the coolest guy we met! (Please note: Send her an email even if the apartment you're interested in is booked- she has numerous to choose from) My husband and I are so grateful to Laura for her kindness and the work and care she puts into her accommodations- we truly wouldn't stay with anyone else! Loft en plein coeur d'Assise

Bel appartement en plein coeur d'Assie. Loft entièrement rénové, alliant l'ancien avec le moderne, ce dernier est très confortable et surtout bien équipé (WIFI, TV, électroménager). Aux allures de boutique hôtel, il est adapté aussi bien pour un couple qu'une famille. Il est idéal pour visiter les principaux monuments de la ville à pied. En ce qui concerne le stationnement, nous conseillons vivement de se garer sur le parking du château de Rocca Maggiore, afin d'éviter toute amende (0 tolérance sur Assise et sa région). Assisi maravilloso

Maravilloso open space en el centro de Asis. Nunca habría imaginado de hospedarme en un lugar tan cuidado y especial. Simple y al mismo tiempo equipado con todo, y sobre todo a tan solo pocos metros de todo lo que hay que visitar en Asis. Un buen descanso y un despertar con sonido de campanas. Stunning stylish apartment in the heart of Assisi!

What a great find! A stunning apartment in a quiet street right above the main square in Assisi. We loved the combination of the original medieval stone walls and the elegant modern minimalist style… even better than the photographs! Every detail has been thought of with care and taste… a beautiful bathroom, dreamy mezzanine bedroom area that felt such a luxury! Huge lounge and dining area with high ceiling and super stylish modern kitchen with all the necessities, dishwasher etc. Laura, the owner, was so kind and friendly. She met us at the station to give us a lift to the apartment and gave us brilliant recommendations for the best restaurants in Assisi and what to see. If you are looking for a special, ‘boutique’ style apartment with a friendly and professional owner, this is for you! We will definitely be back with friends!
