The Best Stay in Seminyak, Bali

This villa was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed! It had the nicest pool and everything was super clean and comfy. The security and owner were very welcoming and went above and beyond to give us a homey experience. It’s also safe and in a great location with plenty of restaurants, shopping areas, spas, and other attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to have a great time in Seminyak, Bali!

Absolutely Fantastic

This villa is absolutely perfect. It’s a quiet oasis just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. While we had been planning on sightseeing every day, we decided to spend an entire day at the villa, lounging around the pool. Even though we were just two people, it was large enough for a group, and there’s a pool house for added privacy for a couple of people. I appreciate the daily housekeeping, and they kept the place immaculate. I recommend arranging airport transportation with the host since the place is kind of hidden. I would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic villa

An amazing villa in a great location. Very clean and well maintained, far enough from the main road to be quiet, but close enough that you're no more than a 15 minite walk to everything you need. I like that there's a separate little flat within the villa for a sense of space for those who need it. Would absolutely stay again.

Very sweet little gem of a villa. Great host. Good location. We walked everywhere no issue. Its down a long driveway, so if you dont like walking, at least walk to the end of the driveway and you'll get transport no issue. Probably wouldn't advise if you have young children. Has stairs and pool. You'll need fencing for both. Which we didn't find an issue - buy just so you are aware. We had our mother with us also (older) sp she was in downstairs :pool house" and absolutely loved it. My partner and I were upstairs and our son had the pther room upstairs. The doors are glass - so not great for little ones sleeping. As soon as you turn bathroom light on, it blares in their room also. Again, not an issue - just for awareness. Suit older children better. Cleaners were great. Advice from.host was great. And villa was quiet.

Villa idéale, au coeur de l’action

Wow, quel agréable séjour nous avons passé dans cette villa. Bien située, à proximité de tout, nous avons pu profiter pleinement de Seminyak. En moins de 20 minutes de marche, il est possible d’accéder à la plage, aux boutiques et commerces ou aux nombreux restaurants. J’aimerais souligner l’accueil extraordinaire de la propriétaire, Suzy, pour son organisation, ses conseils et sa grande disponibilité tout au long de notre séjour. Je recommande sans aucune hésitation cette villa. Hope to see you again one day, Suzy!

Amazingly Beautiful Villa and Service Offered

The LOCATION is fantastic. The pool is amazing the beds and the linen is exceptionally clean and crisp. The personalised service of local resources for shopping and eateries received is the perfect touch to the most enjoyable villa I have stayed in. The Owner will cater to any or all of your needs and I will always recommend and stay again when I visit again. All the ammenities you could need and more.

Gorgeous Stay in Perfect Location

We recently stayed in Suzy’s Villa and recommend it highly to others. Firstly Suzy is so amazingly helpful. She goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is one to remember. My daughter celebrated her 21st birthday and Suzy along with her staff arrived at the Villa with a cake in hand, singing Happy Birthday. It was gorgeous! The villa itself is located perfectly in Seminyak surrounded by wonderful restaurants and shops. It’s filled with beautiful furnishings and high quality bed linen (The pillows are amazing) which ensures the perfect nights sleep. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. Beautiful pool with lush landscaping and clean and comfortable rooms. The location is close enough to anything you need and want and a little removed from the crowds and congestion. Nice quiet place with easy access to everything. Great people always available to help with stores, restaurants and taxis. A black book made by the owner has all the info you will need for your stay. We completely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. Thanks Suzy!

Stylish, centrally located and fabulously managed villa, ideal for families or a group of friends

This was our first trip to Bali and having overwhelmed myself with reviews, blogs and travel guides we opted to kick start our trip with a few days in Ubud followed by 10 nights in Seminyak. Villa Merta Sari 8, in the heart of Seminyak, was a gem of a find. The property is tastefully decorated in a modern fresh style with two double bedrooms upstairs and a jack & jill bathroom, plus another bathroom downstairs and then a separate single level double bed annex with a third bathroom. All bathrooms are wet rooms with good showers. All bedrooms have TV and comprehensive suite of international cable channels to choose from plus an important factor given we had a teen was good WiFi. The pool is a nice size and decent depth and very welcome after a day sight seeing or hanging at the beach. The kitchen was really well equipped with plenty of good quality accessories, however, we opted to eat out all the time because there were so many fantastic restaurants to choose from within a short walk from the villa. What really made our holiday extra special was the team who looked after us. Ibu the house keeper and her lovely team were wonderful and provided a luxury hotel standard of care. Nothing was too much and they were unbelievabley discreet with entering the villa and clearing up after us. The complimentary breakfast was superb. The black book was a blessing for us first timers to Bali. It offered pages upon pages of honest and accurate recommendations organised in a well thought out fashion, eg, places for brekkie, beach bars, beach clubs, restaurants for cheap eats, gourmet dining, eats near to the villa, spas to use, beaches to visit, days out, transport choices, etc, etc. This folder meant we fast tracked in to our trip and avoided making bad decisions, giving us an fantastic time from start to finish and plans to return again soon. Highly recommend.

Great Stay, Great Staff,

My wife and I recently spent six days at this lovely villa. Susy and her staff were very professional and very responsive to all of our needs. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. We had the enjoyment of the pool and enjoyed the beautiful landscape in the courtyard. We also appreciated the welcome snack that were available when arrived. The kitchen was fully equipped and the staff made sure that we had plenty of ice available. The villa had excellent wifi. Susy had the famous "Black Book" with notes and recommendations for all type of activities. Plenty of spas available within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and would come by everyday to tiny up the place. They also assisted with getting our laundry washed during our stay. Overall we had a very lovely and pleasant experience.

Loved it. Friendly owner and staff, lovely villa

We spent 10 nights at Villa Merta Sari and really enjoyed our stay.   Suzy is a fantastic owner with great knowledge of Bali and equips the villa with an invaluable Black Book of recommendations and hints & tips. The villa is in a great spot just outside Seminyak, peaceful and a 20 minute stroll to the beach. We all loved the pool but you do lose the sun for a few hours.  You are also greeted with a welcome breakfast on day one and we opted for a daily clean which was worth it. We also used Wah and Agung as our drivers for transfers and day trips. They were excellent. I have no hestitation recommending Villa Marta Sari. The only negative would be the hot water runs out quite quickly.

The ultimate family villa

Located off a busy restaurant and shoppping road, down a long laneway, the villa has the most perfect quiet location you could ask for! It’s unbelievable to be that close to shops and be that quiet. 10 minutes walk max to the Main Street of Seminyak. Upon opening the gates, we were blown away! The relaxed styling and open downstairs living and pool/ garden area is picture perfect and oh so comfortable. Upstairs are two bedrooms with adjoining bathroom, and located across the grassed area is a self contained 1 bed/1 bathroom that we didn’t even use as the set up of the pool and lounge was so perfect. The staff are fantastic and the “ Black Book of knowledge “, along with the staffs’ local knowledge enabled us to eat and shop in places the average visitor wouldn’t know about. We have lived in Asia prior had high expectations, but this villa and it’s staff, surpassed all of these. So much so we are already arranging the next trip.! Thank you , thank you

Fabulous Villa in a tropical paradise

Villa 8 is located within easy walk of the beach, shops and restaurants of Seminyak. The villa is comfortable with room for 3 couples, with a full kitchen, comfortable lounge area and private pool. This was our second stay with Suzy, although the first at this villa. As per our last visit, Suzy and her staff were fabulous. They organized laundry, motor bikes, taxis, restaurant bookings airport transfers, even a case of beer on arrival. Will continue going back to Merta Sari whenever we go to Bali.

Love At First Site

This was our first trip to Bali and everything we read was everything we got and much much more, We could not have been spent our holiday which was for our daughters 18th birthday in a more wonderful place with such lovely people who were always there to help with anything. The Black Book of information was more useful than anything you could ever find on google and Suzy's knowledge is priceless. Our Villa was so peaceful and relaxing and well maintained by everyone. The help given to us with booking places to visit and explore in Bali was great. This wonderful team went above and upon even down to organising a special birthday cake for our daughter after spending a lovely day having breakfast at the Zoo with the orangutan booked for us by Suzy. If you are lucky enough to visit the lovely island of Bali staying at Villa Merta Sari 8 should be your first choice to stay. Wish we didn't have to leave but we will be back I can assure you .

Touch of paradise

Amazing location, amazing staff, amazing pool and accomodation! Just like you are staying on your own tropical island the Vila is kept well maintained and well looked after by Suzy and her staff! They went to above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one! Close to cafes, beach, massages, beauty parlours and a short scooter or taxi ride to bing tans supermarket! Will never stay anywhere else :)

Great location, villa, amazing staff, awesome pool

As this was our family's first time in Bali, Suzy's black book was a fantastic resource. Full of great tips and recommendations. It gave us the inside running on all the best places to visit and eat in Bali. Every recommendation was spot on. We have never eaten so well! the lovely open plan living and the beautiful pool and gardens were amazing. The staff were also so helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back to Villa Merta Sari and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top class villa in central Seminyak.

Villa Merta Sari - a slice of heaven

As a first time visitor to Bali I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but was so happy with everything we have experienced including this spectacular villa which was nothing short of perfect. The villa was luxurious, modern and had a real Balinese feel to it. The location was great and walking distance to everything we needed including the main shopping street, restaurants and the beach. Upon arrival we were presented with The Black Book and a mobile phone to use throughout our holiday. The Black Book was such a great tool for us to use with information about where to eat, what to do, and so on. All the recommendations we followed from the book were excellent. I was so impressed by this and having access to a mobile phone - as a first time visitor to Bali it made the experience so enjoyable and stress-free. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. I would highly recommend Villa Merta Sari to anyone who is looking for the perfect villa and is wanting the complete Bali experience. I will certainly be returning to this villa for my next Bali getaway.

Absolutely Amazing!

Loved every minute of our stay at Villa Merta Sari #8, so many plans shelved as we just loved staying in the Villa!!! Suzy's 'Black Book' just made it even more beautiful. This has got to be the best villa we have stayed in Bali! Amazing rooms and facilities, large spacious rooms, clean and the staff, friendly and took care of us so well. This Villa is highly recommended for everyone! loved how everything from Seminyak Square, cool restaurants, cafes, SPAs and the beach are just a stroll away. Suzy's such a darling making sure all is well with our stay. You'll just have to come here and experience the villa for the best stay ever! PERFECT

This is the best villa I have stayed in , in Seminyak! The rooms were clean and spacious, the bathroom also very big and clean- staff were amazing and friendly and were there everyday to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed anything. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. Suzy went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable and was there whenever we needed her to book restaurants, massages or anything else we needed or wanted. The villa is in the perfect spot- down a quiet lane way so is super quiet during the evening and still in walking distance to the Main Street of Seminyak. Will definitely be back!! Will not stay anywhere else in Seminyak after staying here. Thank you again Suzy xoxo

Before I moved to Bali 15 years ago, I always stayed in the Seminyak area.
For me jalan Drupadi is the heart land of Seminyak and I love it here.

My villas are nestled down a lane way on jalan Drupadi, so it`s very peaceful whilst having great access to all the Seminyak has to offer.
All the villas are built in the modern tropical style, perfect for enjoying your Bali holiday.
