Keystone Penthouse Village (Decatur)

Nuestro condominio es un 1,900 pies cuadrados, ático, unidad de final con maravillosas vistas desde cada ventana. Usted es capaz de ver la montaña de esquí, el río, y también los prados. Es muy tranquilo y privado. Incluye una gran sala grande con chimenea y patio adyacente con un montón de sitio para sentarse y relajarse por las noches. Tenemos un gran comedor con bar, cocina bien equipada, tres habitaciones, cada una con baño privado y un cómodo sofá cama en la sala grande. Hay un ascensor en el edificio. Nuestro edificio de la piscina está muy bien ubicado y cuenta con piscina cubierta, sauna y jacuzzi. Aunque pasamos por alto las pistas de esquí de Keystone, hay un tranvía que para delante del edificio cada 30 minutos para llevar a los esquiadores a la superficie de base. Estamos en distancia a pie de los restaurantes, tiendas, y patinaje sobre hielo en invierno o en verano, paseos en bote en Keystone Lake. Convenient to Conference Center

Clean, good lay-out. We were attending a conference, so we were not in the property much. It is a bit dated but served our purposes just fine. Screens in the few windows that open would be really helpful to move the air through and cool down the unit.

Wonderful

This condo is just wonderful for a crowd. Our grandchildren had plenty of room to play and the rest of us had plenty of our own space. It made our vacation relaxing and fun the times we were all in the condo together. The proximity to Keystone Village and the bike path was a plus as was the nice indoor pool and hot tub. We highly recommend this property.

Awesome, clean and spacious condo with amazing view!

LOVE this condo! Super clean with an amazing view. Love the 3 on-suite bathrooms and the ample space. The loft master suite has a beautiful view of the sunrise over Keystone Mountain in the morning. Convenient to the slopes without the crowds. This place is perfect for large families. The owner is super responsive and the unit is well equipped. Best condo rental experience we’ve had in Keystone!

Spacious and Great Location

This condo has plenty of room for a large group. It is arranged in such a way that people can really have their own privacy. There is also plenty of seating for hanging out in the living/dining area. The location is great. The shuttle to the other areas is right out the door. The pool and hot tub are very close by across the street. The only criticism I would note is that if you are planning to do a lot of cooking and eating in the condo, the kitchen is not particularly well equipped. We would stay here again any time !

Great Property with a Great View

Loved this property. This couldn’t have been better with one exception. Parking only includes one car for a condo that holds 3 cars worth people. Thought I found the over flow lot but got a $25 ticket instead. Not to be overshadowed because a beautiful property.

Very Spacious

Very spacious casual condo with 3 BR and 3 Bath. Elevator was very handy as was the ski closet on 1st floor. I know the owners cannot control the parking but with 7 people in a condo that could actually hold 10, there should have been at least 2 main parking spaces. With 3 cars, it was a hassle having 2 cars at remote site. Overall was great!

Amazing view, would stay again!

I was stunned by the amazing views from the wall and ceiling of windows and woke up early to watch the sunrise from the loft bedroom each morning. The condo was very spacious and held our group of 6 very comfortably. We cooked many meals in the well-equipped kitchen and had game nights there after skiing each day. We had no problems with parking. Entering through the side door through the garage was easiest. Communication from Bonnie leading up to our stay was very informative and check-in was easy. Access to the slopes was fast as long as we didn’t meet the morning rush. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again!

Very roomy place which is nice to not be tripping over coolers, bags, etc. plenty of wood for fireplace. Couch needs to be replaced. Kitchen is not stocked with basics like salt, pepper, etc (although there were some eggs in the pantry ???) Kind of interesting to me that the master had twin beds instead of a king...

Beautiful Views from all rooms!

Wall-to-wall windows open to a gorgeous meadow and mountain landscape! So beautiful and "so Colorado"! Walking trails right in the area and can take you to a small lake with paddleboats and geese. Super attentive and pleasant guest communication when questions arose. Convenient location-a minute or two to downtown Keystone and the festivities/restaurants there. Lots of restaurants close by....Our family dined at Kickapoo for the wide selections of beers and sandwiches/entrees-family friendly. Snake River Saloon was high energy/noisy and bustling, but perfect for a Colorado intimate lodge/saloon feel and delicious steaks and salmon--tho a bit pricey. Even Luigi Italian restaurant in downtown Keystone had an impressive array of sandwiches for lunch out on their patio. This home is just minutes away from those dining experiences. A huge townhome/condo with 3 full bedrooms; each having their own bathroom. My family of 4...(2 adult children) appreciated the closeness, yet privacy in their own space. Only note to mention is that this unit is off of Highway 6, so expect traffic noise audible from every bedroom, carrying on into the night.

Awesome stay

This was a great place to stay for our family of five! There was plenty of room for all of us. Our two boys shared one bedroom that had 2 beds and our daughter had the other room on the main level. It was great that they each had their own bathrooms. My husband and I had the loft bedroom and loved the great view when we woke up in the mornings. We brought our food and made all our meals in the kitchen. The living room area was nice and roomy for watching tv and playing games. Our biggest problem (haha) was the pepper mill there was empty, but guest services was kind enough to find us some pepper! Also, our keys stopped working and we were locked out. We had to drive over to the check in area to get new keys. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed, but completely understood the neccessity of it due to Covid. (we didn't even go look at it, but from the pictures it seemed like it would be a great addition to a person's stay after a day of skiing). Those minor "problems" were just that - minor. Everything else was great. The location was convient to the ski resort too. We really appreciated that the owner Bonnie was excellent with her communications! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place for our family gathering—The space and views cannot be beat!

The condo was a great spot for our family gathering. Plenty of room, very spacious—it was much bigger than we thought it was going to be! The upstairs loft room could have slept more people if we had needed it, and the two bedrooms downstairs were very nice as well. The views could not be beat—I voted to sleep in the loft because I loved waking up to the incredible mountain views, and with the portable fan running, I could sleep right through any low conversations going on below. In fact, the noise really didn't carry up to the loft much at all. Very open high ceiling feel to the condo, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed, and plenty of windows to open and close to maintain the temperature. There are slider doors on all of the units in this building that have no deck attached (hence there is a big drop down since this condo is on the top floor), however there is a gate inside the units in front of the sliders that keep anyone from "falling out", and the gate also functions nicely to lean against when gazing out at the mountains. The sliding door is wonderful for views and breeze, and it was easy to lock (both the door and/or screen door) and keep closed when need be, (although it did make me a tad nervous with my toddler at times, worrying she could squeeze behind the safety gate, as I have a fairly fearless toddler!). No fear necessary for older kids or adults. The owner made me aware of additional locks for it before we arrived, so it wasn't a surprise. The condo has plenty of parking and great walking access to the conference center where I needed to be the second week, as well as restaurants and activities, both around Keystone lake and a little further walk to the River Run village. We rented bikes several times as the bike path goes right near the condo. We spent a lot of time at the pool and cute playground as well with kids. The condo was clean and well-maintained, and the owner was fabulous at quickly answering any questions that came up, especially before we arrived! Nice little deck off the back offers some outdoor space and views as well.Overall this is truly a beautiful condo and we'd definitely recommend it to others and stay there again!! In fact, I'm wishing we were still there ;) Thanks Bonnie for letting us share your wonderful space!

Loved it!

We stayed for spring break. Five adults, two teens and one kid. There is a lot of space, everything you need is there. The view is awesome! There is bus stop next to the building.

Nice property with good views

The property is nice and plenty of space. Overall it’s a good deal. Just a quick drive to the ski lifts places to eat, and entertainment. Parking at this location fills up fast and it’s all uncovered outdoors (I knew when booking this was not a unit with parking garage access). There is an adjacent parking lot but it was full of construction vehicles and equipment, so finding a parking spot in the evening without having to walk at least 1/4 mile was almost impossible. The other challenge was getting luggage in and out. The entrance has probably 8-10 steps to get up to the elevator level. There is no ramp so we had to carry bags up the stairs to a cart. Inside the unit there is a flight of stairs from the entrance to the living space. Luckily, my son came on this trip and helped with the bags. I would have passed on this unit had I been aware of all the stairs and how limited parking was close to the building. It is a nice place but future potential renters should be aware of the parking limitations and the numerous stairs that can be an inconvenience.

Very Spacious with Great View!

Plenty of room for our group of 7, and a wonderful view out the whole wall of windows. Water pressure was a little low, but it was nice and HOT! The group agreed that this was the best place we've ever stayed on the mountain.

Great Vacation

We loved our stay in Keystone. It was perfect for a family getaway. We had enough space for 5 adults and 3 kids. The condo exceeded our expectations in every way. There is a beautiful view of the mountains from every room, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, and the condo is conveniently located to the ice skating rink and ski hill areas. Bonnie was an excellent property manager and always responded immediately to any of our questions. She even went out of her way to send us recommendations on activities to do, places to eat, and local favorites in Keystone. I highly recommend staying here and would love to go back myself soon!

Beautiful Keystone

We had a wonderful time. The access to the free shuttle and nearby lodge, skate pond and property amenities were very nice. We had a few challenges at the beginning of the stay, but Bonnie immediately followed up with property management, which was a delightful surprise. Thank you and we will be back!

I grew up in Colorado skiing, hiking, backpacking and spending as much time in our beautiful mountains as possible. Since becoming an adult I've travelled a lot and lived in a lot of different places but I always find my way back to Colorado. Keystone has grown a lot in my lifetime but is a wonderful place to gather with family and friends and enjoy the great outdoors.

Our unit has the most amazing views. Plus it's a ten minute walk to the Mountain House ski area (the location of Keystone's Ski & Ride School), a short walk to Lakeside Village for ice skating and restaurants and the conference center is across the highway via a walking tunnel.
