Mio Monte - Casa grande y moderna

Mio Monte es una gran casa galardonada que muestra la arquitectura australiana con un toque toscano. Mio Monte es italiano para My Mountain y mira a través del valle lleno de vides hasta Mt Broke.
Mio Monte ha inaugurado recientemente una hermosa galería de arte, curada por la artista Rebecca Pierce, que exhibe obras de arte exquisitas que reflejan la belleza de la tierra y las regiones circundantes. Abierto solo con cita previa si no se hospeda en la propiedad, es un escaparate que no debe perderse cuando visite la región de Hunter Valley.
Las áreas de estar y comedor de planta abierta están enmarcadas por ventanas de cuerpo entero y puertas corredizas que se abren a una larga veranda y vistas a una pista de tenis privada y al viñedo. Una chimenea de piedra, biblioteca y sala de estar, dos áreas de barbacoa, siete dormitorios y tres baños ofrecen un amplio espacio para los huéspedes. Toda la casa está disponible, con una o dos alas en oferta y espacio para hasta 14 personas.
Mio Monte no se recomienda para niños menores de 8 años debido a que una presa no cercada cerca del hogar, como se muestra en las fotos, debe ser supervisada por los niños en todo momento.

Stunning Property

What an absolute pleasure it was staying at mio monte home in broke, pictures don’t do it justice, such a beautiful home & gorgeous views. The property manager was so easy to contact while we were there if we needed any assistance. Breakfast both days were included in our stay and it was absolutely delicious. We will be back, thankyou so much.

Wonderful property but

The property itself is lovely and beautifully appointed. Beds are comfortable and rooms layout is excellent. The welcome breakfast hamper, wine and chocolate were fantastic. Some minor issues spoiled what could have been a perfect score. Firstly unbeknown to us the pool was not for our exclusive use. Another party of guests from elsewhere were also using the pool. It was not a problem but a surprise to find strangers around your pool. Nowhere in any of the material for this property does it state that it is not exclusive use. The BBQ is rickety and has no hood. The lid on the BBQ has broken handles that need attention. It probably needs an upgrade. The carving knives in the kitchen were dangerously blunt and there was no knife sharpener to be found. We ended up using steak knives in trying to carve a roast. The batteries for remote controls for the TV and sound system were flat and needed replacement. No instructions for these systems were in the welcome binder. Individually these issues are small but cumulatively they just took some of the polish off what was a lovely stay.

Sunset Sensation

We stayed on a glorious sunny weekend and were in total chillax mode within minutes of discovering the wonderful rooms and living area with an awesome stone fireplace! Beautiful view over the vines to the hills on the other side of the valley and walking to sit with our g&t’s beside the lake to watch the sun run its beams of gold along the tops was a memory maker! Everything we needed was provided and the artworks adorning every single wall was so special! Great experience!

Spectacular views and great facilities

This property surpassed our expectations. Great house for a large group, with separate wings and plenty of space for everyone. Lots to do (swimming pool, tennis court, play equipment and more) or just as easily do nothing but take in the spectacular views from every room in the house. Loved our stay and would happily return.

Great getaway from Sydney with friends!

If you want a quite get away with family and friends this property is it! Simply beautiful location set back in the foot hills of a superb winery. So serene and picturesque location with amazing sunsets, escarpment views, wrapped up with magic Australiana flora and fauna to be experienced. Our stay was a wintery weekend away from Sydney and host Michele ensured we had plenty of fire wood for both the indoor open fire and out doors fire on the veranda. The kitchen is very well appointed, with heaps of bench space and room to prepare meals for our group of 14. The three bathrooms which were also well appointed, made for very little waiting for showers or a toilets. Bedrooms are airconditioned and away from the central hub, except the master which sit on a mezzanine floor above the kitchen, being loft style huge bedroom overlooking the dinning room and lounge. Coming to the property the first time, Mio Monte can be a little tricky to enter as you drive in via a side road to the back of the property, separate from the main winery entrance. At the assigned address drive up the lane way to the end, before turning right to come to the back of the property, where you will find plenty of parking for guests. Mio Monte is spacious with out being pretentious. Bedding and linen are first class with ample towels provided for everyone. Two large fridges and pantry made it easy to store all out food and wines for the 5 day stay. The property is good value for the nightly rate, making it very affordable for a larger group to stay together. It is located a good 20 mins from Pokolbin village but only a few minutes from Broke general store and bottle shop. We would definitely stay here again, next time for a summer get away to maximise the pool and tennis court on site. Michele and her staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was so very accommodating and lovely. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome.

We had a great couple nights at this property, good size for a large family and close to play area and tennis court, we never left and loved every minute of it, we will be back

Perfect girl’s weekend getaway!

This place was such an amazing find! The house is even more beautiful in person and it was absolutely pristine on arrival. Getting in was nice and easy as there were signs directed to the house and Michelle provided stacks of information before arrival to help us get there. The girls are already talking about wanting to go back again, 10/10 experience! Thank you so much for the stay!

Amazing location - peace and quiet

We loved our stay. The house is comfortable and charming. But it’s the views across the vineyard and the tranquility which are mesmerising. The kids had a great time in the pool and on the tennis court.

Bella Mio Monte in Beautiful Broke

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Mio Monte. We celebrated my Mum’s 70th and sister’s 40th on this beautiful property. A spacious home inside and out. We spend most of our time outdoors with the kids running around on the grass, playing tennis and swimming in the pool, then looking over the vineyards with a glass of wine on sunset. We also used the bbq and pizza oven for dinner! Was great! We all agreed on how comfy the beds were too, everyone slept well. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay & made the happiest family memories. Would love to stay again! Thanks for having us!

Fabulous house

Everything was great, children, adults and dogs all enjoyed the grounds, tennis court, pool etc. Highly recommended. Don't forget to take mosquito spray!!!!!

Idyllic spot in the Hunter

Our family had a wonderful 5 days amidst the beautiful vineyards and surrounds....and kangaroos! Great facilities for everyone to enjoy of all ages...pool, tennis court,playground, flying fox, bike tracks ! So quiet and peaceful and so close to everything else the Hunter has to offer! Our whole family loved staying at Mio Monte. The views of the vineyard and ranges are stunning and the pool, tennis court and other facilities are in top condition. The owners are lovely and know how to provide a great stay. We would love to go back. Highly recommended!

Perfect for Groups

Great for groups, the bedrooms are nicely separated from the common areas for privacy. The pictures actually don't do the location justice, it was just perfect.

Triple treat

As a group of 12 friends celebrating a birthday we found Mio Monte to be an amazing getaway. The house itself was a great layout, clean, with plenty of communal space and well equipped. The tennis court and pool feel like a real treat. The views were amazing overlooking the wine valley with beautiful sunsets. And to top it off, the artwork gives everything a very special touch. We could have happily stayed longer and tried the pizza oven, and more. Thank you for a very special stay.

Stunning place to stay for a large number of people.

A stunning location for a large amount of people. Beautifully presented, extremely well equipped and they have thought about every little detail. Spacious enough for everyone. We are heading back next winter for another great family weekend away. Making pizza's in the oven was a fun activity which everyone came together for. Michelle was extremely prompt with answers to questions. A wonderful weekend.

Beautiful house, beautiful property

We were there for three days in July18. Fantastic stay, so peaceful. Just noise from the odd kangaroo hopping by! The house is really well appointed and looked after. It is a special place and we hope to be back.

Amazing property

We recently stayed at Mio Monte for 2 nights. We were blown away by how beautiful the property is and how well maintained. Danielle has styled the house so beautifully and just the little touches like the Aesop bathroom products were amazing. Love the tennis court and little golf course . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will 100% be back again and would recommend to anyone.
