Uno de los mejores lugares después del lago, ideal para escapar en pareja o traer amigos. Fuego abierto en invierno, tres habitaciones con cama de matrimonio, bañera de hidromasaje, vistas al agua, obras de artistas locales, una terraza de desayuno con vistas al lago, dos baños, sala de lectura soleada, aire acondicionado y calefacción por conductos.

Al otro lado del agua, desde el galardonado restaurante Lake House, Book Barn, Boat House y senderos para caminar alrededor del lago Daylesford desde el fondo de nuestro jardín, todo a solo unos pasos de distancia.

Home away from home

I have been visiting Lake Daylesford Cottage for over a decade and hopefully will continue to visit for years to come. The cottage is warm and cosy with beautiful views of the lake and dog walkers. Communication with Rodney is always great. Perfect location that feels like a home away from home.

Idyllic stay on the lake with friends

We had a lovely three days of fun and laughter with a group of school friends who have known each other for over 50 years. The cottage provided all of the living areas and relaxation spaces three couples would need as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate for the six of us, very pleasant and homely environment.

Relaxing Weekend Away

The property was perfectly located on Lake Daylesford with access to the walking track from a gate in the backyard. Lazy afternoons were spent reading on the deck overlooking the lake.Everything about this cottage was cozy. The hosts kindly made some suggestions of where to eat, drink and visit. This was the perfect mid-week break to relax and unwind after the Christmas festivities.

Perfect, Tranquil Location

This is a great property if you're looking for easy access to the Daylesford Lake and its surrounds. The interior is very comfortable and clean and has most amenities. It's perfect for a family with a dog as the large, secure backyard keads straight to the lake with a variety of walking options. Theres even a sweet cafe just down the road where you can eat or grab a coffee to sit by the lake. Its only a short drive from the main shopping precinct, too. The hosts are very obliging and are good communicatirs. We would definitely love to return for a peaceful getaway. sesecure backyard

Best holiday

This house is a home away from home with the most wonderful views of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every day taking in the vista. Loved the direct access to the walking path. Rodney and Denise are always so helpful (this was our second stay), leaving tips for dog-friendly places to eat and to visit. The house is very well-equipped.

Getaway with Sisters

Rodney and Denise are excellent hosts. Their home is very welcoming ,charming and was perfect for our getaway. The views from the home both inside and out on the deck were gorgeous. There are multiple levels with little nooks to settle in with a good book with beautiful views. The home was full of character and had everything we needed. Heating was available both by ducted gas or you can have an open fire. Beautiful walks are available at the back door around the lake. We would definitely go back again . Thank you Rodney and Denise.

Fantastic cottage

Right on the lake and not too far from town. Cottage has everything you could ask for. Owners are close by and so very helpful with tips for cafes and restaurants etc. Loved my stay the first time and didn't hesitate to book it again. Thank you, Rodney and Denise, for a wonderful stay.

Lovely cottage

Stayed many times over the years. Special place home away from home. Warm and cosy in cold weather. Views to die for. Easy walk into Daylesford. Accessible helpful hosts. Can’t fault anything about this cottage. Exactly as it looks in photos.

Daylesford used to be our Melbourne escape and we wanted the weekends to get longer, eventually we gave away the city traffic for fresh air, lake views and no traffic lights. Our village is stylish, vibrant and welcoming - I love golf at Hepburn Springs and my wife Denise gets creative as floral stylist to Lake House.
