Lovely stay in great location

We stayed here in April - excellent location not far from Margaret River and close to nice beaches. Perfect accommodation for all the family to stay, with plenty of room for everyone to sleep and chill out. Lovely pool area and balcony with bbq for enjoying the evening sunsets. The stairs make it tricky for people with mobility issues but we managed. Would recommend for large family groups and would book again to stay here. Thanks Monica!

Beautiful home and amazing location

We enjoyed our stay at Rock Pool. The house has everything you need to enjoy time with family and friends. Walking distance to main attractions in Prevelly and Gnarabup, but in a quiet and calm area. We definitely would stay again.

This was a great house for large a group, plenty of room for our family of 7 adults and 2 kids. The house is lived in (I assume by the host Monica) when it is not rented out but this didn't bother us. The house is in need of some maintenance although this didn't stop us enjoying our stay. Very nice

Lovely house. Well designed. We stayed in june and the house was lovely and warm. Electric blankets were fantastic. The pool heater didnt work/ wasnt connected. Lovely big couches in a big open living area. Fantastic kitchen. Multiple decking areas overlooking the ppol. Would be great in summer by the pool. Approx 2km walk to gas bay beach. Quiet neighbourhood. Nice newish bathroom upstairs. Lovely hot outdoor shower.

Not Accurate Description or pictures of Property

Monica was a lovely person and easy to communicate with, however the house is very run down in comparison with the photos, so it was a bit disappointing. There is no aircon in rooms just in the family area, and the rooms get very hot. Many items around the house were broken or very old. Cob webs everywhere outside. All the things are fixable but just need some attention. The rooms downstairs are above the main living area and you can hear all footsteps and movement, its quite noisy. Location is lovely and you can walk to a great pub and to the beach. The balcony is nice to sit on and watch the sunset.

Rockpool Rocked

First time in the region and it won't be the last. The location of the property is outstanding, super close to the beach and facilities at the Margaret Beach Resort, all within an easy walk. It was also a great location to access town and the wineries etc. The location is also quiet and plenty of parking onsite, with shelter direct to the front door. It was too cold to use the pool in winter but it would be amazing to stay there in super. The loungers, outdoor furniture and BBQ are all there for outdoor entertainment in the warmer months. The beds are split between 2 areas and with the 2 families we had staying, it mean we could have our own areas and bathrooms. This was really helpful given the diverse age ranges we had. The owner was really responsive and flexible to our needs, and was certainly more communicative than we could've been. The guestbook has Kelly Slater and Stephanie Gilmores signatures from a few years.....how's that for a recommendation!

Rockpool Gnarabup

Stunning but aging property that is sprawling over 4 levels. Top level has a large bedroom with its own balcony and a smaller bedroom which is suitable for a single or children. There is also a very large and beautiful bathroom and toilet on this top level. Next level down is a huge open plan living and dining area with a huge balcony off it with a bbq. This 3rd level living area has air conditioning. On the 2nd level is another sitting area which has a day bed and another bedroom off it. The entry door is on this level. Down to the ground level, here you can enter the pool area as well as there being a second bathroom and toilet and two large bedrooms. There is also a very spacious laundry. There is a 3rd shower outside under the deck. The pool is beautiful and easy to maintain. The filter comes on and off automatically. There is a creepy crawly that auto cleans. Overall a stunning home that could do with a “revamp” to its former glory. The kitchen appliances could do with replacing but work adequately. We had a wonderful week here, and the host was most obliging with all requests. It was advertised as having a lift but there is no lift. We had our elderly mother with us so the multiple levels was a very large challenge for her. We booked with the thought that there would be adequate accessibility for her. I recommend this property for a comfortable stay for a large family but not if anyone has ability issues.

Overpriced and underwhelming

Crumbs and dead flies on kitchen bench on arrival 4 black hairs in bed on arrival..insect excrement on spare pillows from top of wardrobe. Tiny split system aircon in living area but doesn't cool the bedrooms it was trying to sleep in a sauna. Fridge shelves cracked as well as cupboard doors and laminate hanging off...owners food left in freezer so we couldn't utilise all the space in freezer. On the upside beds quite comfy and the kitchen had all the essentials

The house amazing, but just needed some maintenance and cleaning. Monica was a great host, check on us upon arrival and was prompt with our request to have the pool cleaned. I would stay there again.

Gnarabup Rockpool

We stayed at Rock pool for a week. Monica was very easy to liaise with and while the house was well equipped, we found that it could do with a general tidy up and declutter. All of the cupboards were full of Monica’s own belongings and were untidy. However, the linen and towels were all clean and the house was clean on the inside - it just needs a really good outside tidy, garden clean up and massive declutter, which did dampen the accomodation experience for us unfortunately.

Beautiful House

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, very spacious, loved the pool. The fresh flowers were a nice touch and Monica the host was lovely to deal with. Definitely recommend this house for a group getaway.

False advertising.

Absolutely not what we paid for in the booking... Once all was booked she sent through that we were not to pull the pool cleaner out of the pool - this left us without the enjoyment of utilising the pool! We would not have booked if we knew that. We booked and paid for 2 nights for 6 people. Only five people could make it. So we used 5 out of the 6 beds available. We were then charged an EXTRA person (#7) for no reason! A bed that’s advertised as usable has a broken slate and three wooden blocks holding it together - again we would not have booked this place if we knew that! Very deceiving advertising, cleanliness was not at all up to standard. The cobwebs galore inside. Very disappointed. Not even as close to the beach as made out.

Great Holiday Spot
