Amazing stay !!

We were greeted by the hosts straight away and were made sure we settled in and shown around it was amazing service. Absolutely amazing spot with great views. Would defiantly go again !!

Stunning views, great location & comfy pad!

We enjoyed our stay and left after 2 nights feeling so relaxed! The views from the jacuzzi, sun lounger & room are amazing, plus you can hear the ocean. Short walk or drive to the beach/river and plenty of nice restaurants & wineries nearby. Nb: apparently included breakfast stopped during Covid. Host was very flexible though! Comfy bed/pillows and clean room. Would love to stay again sometime.

Perfect anniversary stay.

What a beautiful weekend away we had to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect, the view spectacular and the room ticked all our boxes. Andy was lovely and friendly and we couldn’t fault a thing. We will definitely be back in the future as Gerroa holds a special place in our hearts.

A perfect experience.

Andy the host was very informative and friendly. The place was very comfortable, clean and had the best views of the beach. The outdoor spa was a nice touch with complete privacy. I would definitely book here again.

Wonderful getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The views were incredible! Andy was very friendly upon arrival! The only thing we could fault was there was no wall between the bathroom and main room. Would happily book here again!

Perfect getaway

A true home away from home! The property is neat and well presented. The outdoor spa overlooking the ocean was our favourite evening activity. Close to shops with plenty to do to fill in your days, I highly recommend.

Romantic Getaway

Loved this trip. The most stunning views from both inside and in the outside spa which we used a lot. I’d describe the room as an open suite. It was private and Andy was lovely helping us with our bags on our arrival. Thanks for your hospitality 😊

Beautiful place, perfect for our honeymoon.

The view was breathtaking and the room and outdoor spa were both very private. The steep side access was ok for us but would not be something I could have done if I was pregnant or anyone with troubles walking or with balance issues could do. Andy and Kim were both lovely and very accommodating.

The view was breathtaking. Absolutely gorgeous out on the deck. Spa was working perfectly and was just perfect and again the view from the spa absolutely gorgeous. My partner and I were very happy. Although I will say I wish there was an aircon of some sort as I can’t sleep when it’s warm. But other then that was lovely and the hosts were really sweet and didn’t bother us during our stay.

Gorgeous view. Lovely space.

Andy is an excellent host. He carried our bags down the 3 flights of stairs. Then left us alone. Clean and comfortable. Hot tub was fun and nice outdoor garden with magnificent view. Would have liked to know that the outside stairway to the flat was long and steep. We managed but being older with tricky knees was a bit strenuous. Close to fisherman’s club for a meal. Good hike to the beach. Gerroa is our favorite beach in NSW

Wonderful views

Comfortable clean warm incredible ocean views.host very hospitable and pleasant.couple of minor difficulties. The shower was over a spa bath due to my osteo arthritis getting in and out was interesting to say the least. Assessibility down a very steep rocky pathway was very difficult for an arthritic old lady :) 😀 but younger mobile people would not have had a problem. Also no breakfast was supplied but i guess i read that wrong. TV was very basic and live coverage of sport just didnt stay on for any more than a few seconds. But a peaceful quiet private space with magnificent fews and abundant bird life and andy is a great porter :) and friendly . Nice furnishings very comfortable. Thanks andy

Seven Mile Bed & no Breakfast

Despite their signage and what their website states, no breakfast was provided. The owner states they haven't done so since Covid. Their website described the continental breakfast provided. The small table on the outside deck was dirty, though a 2 person dining table would have been a better option. That would enable you to eat out there and enjoy the stunning view. The property did not fit the Stayz description of a "property all to yourself" in their recent TV ads. It is a nice room under the owner's residence. We have to walk past their outside deck to access our room. You can hear the water flowing when they flush the toilet or take a shower. You can also hear their sliding door being opened. The owner sent me an e-mail on the day prior to our arrival to confirm arrival time. I thought I had responded, but he did not get it. I suspect, that given I was using a mobile phone to read the e-mail, and it was the first time using Stayz, I hit reply, instead of clicking on the "respond to host" button. After leaving there we stayed at cottage booked through another company and the owner there, simply texted my mobile to confirm arrival - much simpler and no issues in responding. A very disappointing experience and I doubt we will use Stayz again to book accommodation.

Nice place

The Pros: Location was great. The view was very nice. The owners had a little breakfast hamper prepared. The room itself was very clean spacious with a very homely feel. Andy and Kim (Owners) were super friendly and helpful. The Cons: The room is at the rear of the property and actually under the owners house, this can get a little noisy especially early in the morning. On Sunday morning (approx 7:30ish) I awoke to the sounds of a shower running, drawers opening and closing, light switches turning on and off, toilets flushing and footsteps thudding around. All of this seemed to be happening right above our bed. I am no light sleeper but this was enough to wake me up and not allow me to go back to sleep. My wife said she also heard the noises but was able to sleep through it. Guest access is a pathway down the side of the main house. There is no actual path - just concrete stepping stones. The block is quite steep and whilst not really a problem in the daytime, it can be a little tricky/dangerous at night of after a few wines. The shower head, please oh please Andy and kim - change that shower head. It is horrible, its the type of shower head that sprays out a fine mist at high pressure. Its like washing yourself with an industrial pressure cleaner. The bathroom offers no privacy whatsoever- as the whole place is open plan and has no wall to separate the bathroom, this only really bothered us when one of us needed to use the toilet. Privacy in general is ok, the neighbors deck can see straight into your room if you leave the blinds open (not that this happened but it could). Also the window on the staircase could use a blind installed (as it appears that the owners may be able to look down from their loungeroom into your room). The hot tub is nice, my recommendation would be to build a pergola over the hot tub, this way it can be used in rainy weather - It would also offer added privacy as the owners higher rear deck can see straight into the hot tub. A privacy screen on one side of the hot tub would also offer added privacy from the neighbors on the high side of the hill (once again they would be able to see the hot tub from their decks). I only mention the privacy items as this is more of a "couples" accommodation. And privacy is something that most people want when seeking a couples getaway. With all this in mind I would still recommend this place for anyone seeking a couples getaway - and I definitely would stay there again.

Andy was a very welcoming host and the beach views are absolutely spectacular. The property is conveniently located and is a brief walk to the beach and local restaurant.
