Great location, was within walking distance to the beach, coffee shop and Thai food!Owner was very responsive, and helpful.Property had the necessary cooking utensils and was clean. All electricals and appliances worked well and the area was very quiet.Short drive to brewhouse, sports club and Mogo zoo.

My family and I (four people) had a really wonderful stay at Sandy Bottom over the past four days. The unit was very clean, neat and tasteful with an abundance of household necessities (it is so annoying when you go to a place and there is no eggcup or no proper cutlery, or no washing up stuff!), everyday comforts and thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor barbecue cooked up a beautiful meal for us. It was great being just a few minutes walking distance from the beach and local shops. Our host, Ian, was warm, friendly and helpful in his all of his communications with us - much appreciated thanks Ian. We will certainly be back!

Amazing Beach House

Wonderful location and quiet beach house. Manager was very quick to respond and very flexible. We needed a get away to the beach and this was perfect for our family.

Close to the beach in a quiet, green neighbourhood

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy Bottom - highlights were its proximity to the beach, the quiet and lush green neighbourhood, the beautifully renovated bathroom (with separate toilet) and 2 outdoor deck areas. We will be keeping Sandy Bottom in mind for our next visit to Broulee!

Home away from home

The house is located at a quiet neighbourhood . It was nice and clean. Local shops and restaurants just minutes drive away. Fantastic stay with great location just a short walk from the beach. Will stay again when visiting the coast

Location, location, location!!!

We had such a beautiful stay at Ian’s place! From the moment I booked online to our departure the communication with Ian was spot on. Property was super clean and very comfortable for our family of 4.Location - you cannot get better than this, a skip, hop and jump to the beach with life guards patrolling non-stop. Definitely we will be back!

A great location and host

A quick, cheap, no fuss getaway in a quiet part of the south coast. Ian, has put a bit of effort in tidying the place up, with fresh paint, carpet and floorboards, and took on feedback well.

Great coastal spot

We stayed with a group of friends who were down for a wedding and this was a great spot for relaxing. Easy access to the beach and a great front verandah for drinks and card games. Great communication from Ian throughout and every thing went very smoothly.

Fantastic place!

We loved staying here. It is a fantastic place located a stone's throw from beautiful south Broulee beach. The owner is very responsive and great to deal with. It was very clean and was perfect for our young family. We took the kids to the beach twice a day and they loved it. We plan to return! Thank you Ian.

Perfect location and comfort

The stay was in newly renovated premises that was clean and exactly as promised. Location is excellent with the beach sand access just a few meters away. Parking on site and the place felt comfortable like home. The place was clean and spotless. Very relaxing stay in an ideal spot. I'll definitely come back.

Close to nature

Comfortable with large deck to relax outside. Wonderful seeing the Yellow-tailed black cockatoos in the nearby trees. South Broulee beach is safe with good surf and the short walk through the banksia dune to the beach begins a few steps from the house.

modest classic, brilliant location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of this house cannot be beaten. In a quiet dead end street, it's a short walk through a bush track to south Broulee beach, attended by SLSC and numerous beautiful beach walks in all directions. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. The house itself is a duplex, neat and tidy if modestly furnished. Four of us (parents, teenagers) had the downstairs which has a generous timber deck.

Perfect getaway with t(w)eens

“Sandy Bottom” was the perfect location for a getaway with the teen and the tweens for a birthday long weekend. Scrupulously clean neat and tidy (as the tween said - not a bug, cobweb or dust ball insight - and she is hard to please!) , very good aircon, 3 comfortable bedrooms, smart tv, 2 bathrooms, private parking…and a 2 min walk to fabulous South Broulee beach (that is patrolled.) Great location in a quiet cul de sac, close to great coffee (and I am particular) at Killibinbin Cafe and Single Fin Canteen and Goods, Broulee Surf School, Two Sister Vietnamese takeaway, and Broulee Brewhouse (with live music!) Surfing lessons and Snorkeling with Seals (in Narooma) rounded out a perfect holiday with the kids.

Wonderfully relaxing !

Great communication with the very friendly and generous host. Easy check-in. The house is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in a quiet street full of old trees and you can hear the surf and lots of birdsong. The apartment is freshly and tastefully renovated and has wooden decks on both sides of the house, so you can follow the sun or the shade. The beds are comfy, the apartment spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Extremely relaxing setting. 100 % recommendation!!

Paradise!

Thank you so much, Ian – we had a thoroughly enjoyable time at the seaside and found your accommodation really excellent! Even though there were four of us (parents, son and daughter), we found it spacious and inviting. It simply had everything we needed and more! It was nice to be able to decide whether to eat indoors (it was raining on one occasion) or outdoors. The Barbie was great. It was very nice to be so close to the beach – literally a few minutes walk. We highly recommend Ian‘s accommodation. Ian – you were very approachable and helpful during our stay. Thanks again. indoors (once it was pouring with rain) or outdoors.

Listening to the waves

My husband and I, and all our four friends were most impressed with: firstly, the property itself (newly renovated, everything was sparkling and well organised; a good working oven and excellent pots; enough coat hangers for everyone etc); and the location, location! Just two minutes from an amazing beach, yet a pleasant walk to the shops. We felt sorry we were staying just one night, and are intending to return for a longer holiday.

Location can not be beat

Great spot! A quick stroll over the dunes to the beach, amazing bird life (so many black cockatoos!). It is an easy walk to the general store, coffee shop and the brewery. Suite is newly renovated, comfortable and very clean. Ian was a very welcoming host. We had a perfect weekend.
