KI Rural Retreat es una gran casa de 4 dormitorios que duerme cómodamente 10-12. Está rodeado de jardines, matorrales nativos y espacios abiertos con 2 dormitorios de matrimonio, uno con baño privado, baño con bañera / ducha, área para niños, sala de estar grande con TV / DVD, cocina totalmente independiente y área de entretenimiento al aire libre con barbacoa. Abundante avifauna, excelentes vistas en paseos agrícolas a través de la tierra al mar. Disfrute de las áreas de vegetación nativa y del sitio histórico de maquinaria agrícola. A solo 15 minutos en automóvil del municipio principal de Kingscote para todas sus necesidades de compras navideñas, incluidas artes y artesanías. Junto a la destilería de eucalipto Emu Ridge y a 6 km de la granja de miel de Clifford, donde le espera un delicioso helado de miel. En la carretera principal a las populares Seal Bay, Vivonne Bay, Caves & Flinders Chase. Ropa de cama disponible bajo petición. No hay perros debido a las ovejas.

Kangaroo Island Rural Retreat was perfect for our 6 day stay on Kangaroo Island. It is private/isolated and very peaceful, no near neighbours, BUT within easy driving distance (15 mins) of Kingscote. It is also very well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable. We wanted to explore all corners of Kangaroo Island and KI Rural Retreat is the perfect location - very central for travel to Cape Borda, Cape Willoughby, Dudley Peninsula, etc. Emma, our host, was extremely helpful and friendly... nothing too much trouble.If you're looking for privacy, comfort, a central location, then I highly recommend KI Rural Retreat.

Wonderful property for a relaxed cozy country stay. Plenty of space for the whole family with everything you need. Even in the middle of winter, it’s cozy and warm with the gas and wood fires. Beautiful views over the countryside. A wonderful home away from home.

It was quiet which was great as we are from a rural area. The home was very clean. Also quite large so we were able to find a quiet spot in the house to Read and relax

Nature stay

Great house and space. Good views and environment, especially for nature lovers. Lots of extras and heaps of room. Loved the firepit. Beds super comfy. Great kitchen and living areas. Great vibe, loved it.

Fabulous old farmhouse with rustic charm. The owners couldn't of been more helpful and obliging. Magnificent setting and scenery. Great location for seeing all the sights. A perfect little hideaway.

Lovely quiet rural setting. Caretaker showed us around the property and pointed out a resident koala. It was a great home base for exploring the island.

Excellent accomodation

This house is very well sized for larger groups, with ample space and great amenities. The farm is beautiful, there are lots of native flowers along the roadside leading to the house. The views are also excellent. The location is almost central to the island, and for the purposes of our visit, was located very close to our work. We hope to be able to stay again

Slice of rural heaven

We loved the property, reminded my brother and I of our farm growing up in South Africa. The house is really well equipped and well located. Would definitely return there and recommend to others to stay.Koalas in the trees along the drive were fabulous as was the birdie. Thank you again.

Fabulous 4 night stay in KI

Fantastic quiet place to come back to after a busy day in KI. Amazing hosts, communication was excellent and the house had lots of comforts provided, including a pod machine. Loved sitting outdoors in the morning, spotting the superb fairy wrens as I drank my coffee. Can’t wait to come back again and bring friends!

Peaceful, private and spacious

One of the best places we've stayed in when it comes to peace and quiet. There's lots of room inside, as well as outside in the property grounds to go for big walks. It was super comfortable; all amenities we needed were provided, and it was a pleasure dealing with the owner who was always quick to respond. Location is great - not far from Kingscote and the airport. It truly felt like home for us the 2 weeks we stayed. We were very well-rested after our stay and didn't want to leave - we'll DEFINITELY be returning again and again! Thanks again Emma - terrific place :-)

Very nice

Nice and quiet. Was not bothered by anyone. Very cosy and relaxing. Would recomend to anyone, kids or just oldies very nice. Cant think of a thing i would change . Cheers
