Esta nueva propiedad está ubicada en la costa oeste del lago Edward. Another amazing stay

We keep coming back because this is the best place we have ever found to stay with our mobility challenged moms. Even the epic dock is accessible for them. Thanks again to Amy for keeping this beautiful cabin accessible for us!

Great Vacation

This property was tailor-made for 2 retired couples... No stairs and flat, easy access to the dock and the lake. Had great weather all week for coffee on the patio and a fire pit. Very enjoyable vacation!

Outstanding!

This place was perfect for our family getaway to the lake! The house was very clean, the view was amazing (literally on the water) and the dock was huge. The way the home is laid out works great for accommodating two families. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Family Vacation

We had a great time here. Traveling with two small children ages 4 and 2 can be challenging but the dock was wide so we could sit and fish or swim all afternoon. Home is close to the lake to admire during nap time. Very clean home and friendly hosts. Only complaint we ever had was AC did not keep up but they had plenty of fans that made it manageable. Would stay again.

Lake Edwards June 2022

The accommodations were very nice. No stairs as all rooms are on one level. Dock is very nice and we were able to rent a pontoon from the Cozy Cove resort which is right next door. Overall it was a very enjoyable week and the accommodations fit us very well.

Great week at the lake

We had a wonderful time enjoying a week of leisure around the lake. Nice to be so close to the lake from the patio area and enjoyed the spacious dock pad 20 feet from shore. Kids enjoyed swimming and fishing from the pad. Family enjoyed the supplied paddle boards. Very nice clear lake to enjoy tubing and a night ride to see all the loons.

Family Vacation

It was great to just go outside and the lake was right there. Lots of games on site for our family to play and do. The bedrooms do get a little warm for sleeping, but the main areas were good for temperature. We had nice bonfires by the lake each night. I would recommend this place to anyone.

What a gem

This lake house is a total gem. Booked it last minute and Amy and her family was super responsive and easy to work with. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the dock and all the water toys. We'll definitely stay again. Recommend to all.

Family time.

What a great place! The house is positioned close to the lake so every night I slept to the sound of the water. It had everything we could need. There were ceiling fans and new small table fans provided in every room. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The big bedroom/bonus room helped for space when it rained. We never felt crowded. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful cabin with lots of room for family. We had 6 family members and it fit us all perfectly. Only downfall was the weeds around the dock, but we just got over it and swam. Loved the stand up paddle boards to use and the kayak. Lots of yard games and beautiful porch. Great location close to Nissaw/Brainerd. Great, helpful communication with the property manage prior.

Peaceful lake retreat

My wife and I wanted to take my mom, who has mobility issues, to a place on a lake where she could relax near the water. This place was beautiful, all on one level, and had everything we wanted for a long Fall weekend. The owner was very responsive and helped us with everything we needed. The level lot to the lake allowed my mom to get closer to the water than at other cabins. We are very grateful.

Beautiful!

We all enjoyed our long weekend very much. Everything you could possibly need was there. You were very accommodating and we appreciated it very much. Sorry Emily had to come Saturday night, but it did put our minds at ease. The location is nice. The owners of Cozy Bay where we rented a pontoon were very kind. It was our 27th year together and it was a special one. We are thinking about renting again next year. Thank you so much for everything! Pam and friends

Great home for our family

We had a great time staying at this home. There were plenty of yard games as well as a paddle board that both the kids and adults enjoyed. We spent most of our time out on the back patio overlooking the lake. We weren’t able to use our boat on the lake due to low water condition. However, this gave us an opportunity to check out some of the other Great Lakes in the area. The owners were very quick to respond to any of our questions. The house was well stocked with everything we needed along with an outdoor grill that we used a few night. The dock setup was great for hanging out or fishing. Thanks again

Fun week with family

This house had everything we needed. Paper products, garbage bags, spices, hand soap, hand sanitizer, etc. We were so pleasantly surprised. The paddle-board, kayak and water floats were great. We thought we were going to have to rent them. There was firewood too for the fire pit. The dock was just as pictured - and we all spent a lot of time there. The only thing that was unexpected was the lack of walking paths close by. The house is on a busy road, so walking along the road can be done, but is a little unnerving due to speed of the cars going by. The Paul Bunyan trail is not too far away, but you need to drive to it. We were hoping to do a lot of walking/hiking and there is nothing accessible from the house. The air conditioning is great in living area, but the bedrooms were pretty warm even with fans. It wasn’t too bad if you slept with doors open, but not ideal since we all kept different hours. We would definitely go back. It was a great place for my husband, me and two teenage kids. Thanks!!!

My family (spouse, three late teenage kids) spent a week at this location. Everything was as advertised and we had a fabulous time. Lake was awesome, dock was awesome, grill, cabin, neighborhood, just everything. Highly recommend!

Wedding weekend

Nice, large accommodations for our daughter and family, son and family and myself and my husband when we were in Brainerd for a family wedding. Nice outdoor area...we enjoyed a fire on the patio every night. The property sits between a VERY busy county road and the lake. It's easy to miss the driveway as the only identification is the small blue address number. Lots of towels provided, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and in floor heat made it pretty cozy!

Barbie's On The Bay is named after our mother, who after an unfortunates accident was no longer able to live on her own. She always has loved being on the lake and sharing the lake life with family and friends from near and far. This house is an extension of her hospitality that we hope to share with others.

As soon as you walk through the front door we promise you will be as taken with the lake view as we are. You really feel like you are right on the lake when you watch it sparkle from the windows. The clarity of the water and hard sand make for ideal swimming off the large dock that is big enough to hold your whole household for summertime fun. The charm of nearby resorts, the wildlife, and the water will put you right into relaxtion mode. The location is great for whatever else might interest in you in the Nisswa/LakeShore/Breezy area as well.

The location is idea for those who truly want to experience the lakes area. There's shopping, golfing, fishing, access to the Paul Bunyan trail, fine dining, swimming, snowmobiling all within 10 minutes of the property. Boat rentals are available from Cozy Bay resort, which is walking distance from the property as well.
