Rimrock Retiro - un lugar para relajarse

Rimrock Retreat es el lugar ideal para relajarse y descansar o, si lo prefiere, realizar un trabajo serio sin distracciones. ¡No es una casa de fiesta como amamos a nuestros vecinos!

Rimrock Retiro comprende dos niveles discretos que se pueden reservar por separado o en conjunto.

# El nivel superior capacidad para 6 personas y dispone de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños, así como una zona con salón / comedor y cocina totalmente equipada, incluyendo lavavajillas, microondas y cafetera Nespresso. Hay una enorme terraza con una mesa al aire libre y sala de estar, así como 2 pequeños patios. Hay un televisor, reproductor de DVD, reproductor de CD y una barbacoa de gas:
El dormitorio principal - cama de matrimonio y baño
2 º dormitorio - cama de matrimonio
3er dormitorio - 2 camas individuales

# El nivel inferior es gran estudio con capacidad para 4. La incluye un baño, un salón / comedor de planta abierta y cocina totalmente equipada con lavavajillas, microondas y una enorme terraza con una mesa y sala de estar al aire libre. Hay un reproductor de DVD de TV y CD

Hay impresionantes vistas oceánicas y costeras tomando en Barrenjoey faro de Point poco de las enormes norte cubiertas frente al este privados en ambos niveles. Las áreas al aire libre de interior sin costuras están decoradas en estilo de playa confortable incluyendo dos grandes camas balinesas día para que la siesta por la tarde.

Palm Beach y la playa de la ballena son un tranquilo 10-15 minutos a pie y hay muchos restaurantes, cafés y tiendas cercanas (un pie o 5 -15 minutos en coche). Lovely house.

Very well appointed, amazing views. Owners very helpful. My family of adults could not be moved from the balconies. Let owners know if you are elderly as there are many steps.

Palm Beach Magic

Our stay at Shane’s house was fabulous. The views over the Pacific Ocean below are spectacular. The home has beach/old worldly style and is so well presented. We would love to stay again.

Short getaway with fabulous sea view

The house is super cozy. We loves the house decor, especially the couches on the deck . It has become the favourite spot for all of us. The house is well maintained and there are a huge selection of kitchenware, board game etc. Some of us found the linen to be a bit dusty but it might be because of the Covid lock down. Other than that, the house is amazing! will definitely come back again. Thanks for hosting us, Shane.

A weekend away that has given us lasting memories

Stunning views and very comfortable accommodation, especially upstairs. Everything you need is provided, even to a broad selection of coffee pods. Inclinator was a Godsend, so helpful with bags and supplies. We would definitely stay here again.

Epic view and lovely rooms

We had a great stay at Shane's place - the beds were really comfy and towels & linen for every guest. The balconies were both amazing with heaps of room and the most spectacular views. Would definitely book again!

Stunning views

Overall a very lovely stay at Rimrock. Shane communicated wonderfully, check-in was a breeze. A bottle of champagne, chocolates and a card on arrival was a lovely touch. The kitchen had more amenities than most people would have in their own kitchens. The views from the deck are the selling point of Rimrock, with heaters and blankets to use as the sun starts to set and it cools down allowing us to continue to enjoy the views. There are a lot of steps up to the accomodation however we were provided with the use of the inclinator which made bringing all our belongings up and down from the accomodation so easy! Great idea and so helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Piece of Paradise

This property is a must! The photos don’t do this house any justice. Once you see the house in person you will absolutely fall in love! The weekend spent here was absolutely perfect. The deck was fantastic to relax on and enjoy some food and drinks. The views from both decks are phenomenal! I have never seen anything that compares. We watched the sunrises in the morning from the balcony and it took us back to Hawaii! The house was perfect for us. All the utensils that we needed were provided. Coffee, tea, spices and even milk was provided. Beautiful soaps in the bathroom and hand sanitisers throughout the house made us feel very welcome. Shane’s communication was great throughout the trip! Very fast response with any questions we had and very polite. Complimentary champagne and chocolates on arrival was such a beautiful touch. Shane’s emails about eateries and things to do in Palm beach was so helpful. Off street parking was no problem for us. You are able to walk to the beach from the property (beautiful walk) without any issues and it is very close. I 100% will be staying here again and recommending this property to family and friends. Thank you Shane! A very memorable weekend.

Great place to stay before our wedding!

Amazing view, comfortable rooms, and the perfect spot for the bridal party to get ready before our wedding! The downstairs is a really lovely private area too! The steps up to the property might be precarious for some, but Shane was generous with letting us use the inclinator as necessary (including in my wedding dress!). Definitely recommend! Hope we will find an excuse to be back!

Best deck in town!

We loved our weekend at Rimrock. Its in a great location for swimming or walking at either palm or whale beach and is a very well stocked house that you wont want to leave. The house itself is not massive - but then the 2 gorgeous, amazing decks are huge and thats where we spent every meal and afternoon reading, chatting etc.

There really is a Santa !

Just fabulous for Christmas ! We all said it's not often something lives up to one's expectations but Rimrock Retreat exceeded them for our extended family. The home is a real retreat... stunning yet oozing in comfort and charm. We loved waking up at sunrise to watch the sun peeping over the glistening horizon, the birds, early morning sailors...… just divine ! And the plus for me was to navigate through your eclectic musical collection . Thank you so much Shane. You have shown us there really is a Santa !

Palm Beach Paradise

This place has the most magnificent, breath taking views of the ocean from both the upper and lower deck. I chose this place to celebrate my 50th with 8 of my closest friends from far and away. On the first evening there, we enjoyed gathering on the top deck to enjoy drinks and nibbles while experiencing the ocean sounds with this glorious backdrop. Rimrock Retreat has lovely decor and had a very relaxed feel. The three bathrooms and separate bedroom areas made it comfortable. We enjoyed a dip at Whale Beach and a walk to Barren Joey Lighthouse. The area is very quiet with beautiful surrounds and birdlife. We caught a ferry to Patonga for lunch at the Boat House which was a highlight. By mid afternoon we headed back to Rimrock Retreat to watch a DVD, enjoy some games, listen to music and relax with a glass of wine or two. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and agreed that we should stay here every year to reignite our friendships and rejuvenate in this gorgeous space.

Just pure perfect

Shane & Stuart had everything we needed to make our stay feel like a home away from home. The home decor was beautiful, the coffee capsules to choose from, clean property with stunning views. You won’t leave the balconies. The bedroom en-suite photos do not do it justice. So relaxing.

Breathtaking views, superb host!

We stayed at Rimrock over the new years break and it was an absolutely amazing vacation. Shane was a great host, who was happy to answer any questions and was understanding to our special requests. The house itself contains all the luxuries you require! The fact that it does not have AC is no issue as the cool sea breeze is constant and the house is designed to allow for cross flow ventilation. Now lets talk about the views - they were absolutely spectacular! Theres nothing quite like waking up to the expansive sea views, watching the water glisten in the morning sunlight, hearing the waves crash in on the cliffs down below, feeding some local parrots as they land on the balcony - it was just magical. The house is perfectly positioned between Palm Beach and Whale Beach, only a 10-20 minute walk away from each. It is also a short car trip away from the local supermarket and eateries. Thanks so much to Shane for having us in your amazing home!
