Artist Studio Cottage

La cabaña de estudio de artistas
es muy privado y autónomo, con su propio gran jardín subtropical y a pocos metros de las blancas arenas de la hermosa playa de Belongil. Duerme con los sonidos de las olas y la magia del canto de los pájaros.
Podrá rejuvenecer y recargar energías en esta cabaña junto a la playa donde abunda la naturaleza.
Camine a lo largo de la playa hacia el animado pueblo de Byron Bay (con sus cafés, tiendas y vida nocturna) o disfrute de la sociedad local de cafés aquí en Belongil y sus interminables playas. La popular cafetería Treehouse y el Belongil Bistro están a solo unas puertas de distancia y están abiertos todos los días.
Hay estacionamiento en la calle y un camino de entrada separado que conduce a la cabaña.
El acceso a la playa es a través de Manfred St o frente a los cafés. Está a pocos metros de la playa.

La cabaña es acogedora y artística ... llena de mis pinturas. La cabaña consta de una cama / sala de estar, una cocina / comedor y un baño. Las 3 habitaciones se abren al patio y al jardín. Hay una lavadora y barbacoa. La cocina tiene todo lo básico. Hay una cama queen y un cómodo sofá que se despliega en una cama doble.
Tendrá su propio camino de acceso desde la carretera y el uso privado del jardín trasero debajo del árbol de flor de pascua. También puedes usar el tendedero de la casa.
Moverse:
Camina hacia la ciudad a lo largo de la playa, carretera o carril bici. O conducir. Está a solo 2 km del centro de Byron Bay. Hay muchos centros de información para turistas y viajeros en la ciudad. Los autobuses que conectan el aeropuerto lo llevarán a la puerta. Hay bicicletas (y coches) para alquilar en la ciudad.

Jan was very welcoming, but the facilities were very basic.Although it is quite private, there are no proper curtains at the Windows, we did not realise that you have to go outside to get to the bathroom, the kitchen is not very well provided with cooking utensils and there is only a two ring camping hob to cook on. The BBQ was not clean, I had to clean it before we could use it.The description “beside Belongil Beach” is a little misleading. It is close to the beach, but not exactly beside it.

The location is perfect, only a few minute walk to the beach. Older style accomodation, with an outdoor bathroom, not ideal but manageable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Such a lovely place and perfect location

Absolutely loved our stay. Such a gorgeous little place and beautiful private garden. The location is simply PERFECT as well, just a minute walk to the beach. Only improvement for me would be to have a fan, even though it has a good working airco.

Artists Cottage

Great private getaway close to Byron Bay. The garden is a private oasis and we loved watching the bird life. Close to the beach where you can walk for miles in either direction. Jen is a great host and we would definitely want to stay here if we were back in Byron Bay.

The property itself was quite neglected . when we booked the property there was no mention you had to go outside the cottage to go to use the bathroom,merely it said that there was no ensuite.we didn’t appreciate we had only a used cake of soap to use in the shower.We must say the hostess was very nice to deal with

Peaceful getaway

My mum & I loved our week in Jan's beautiful artist cottage. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the leafy backyard, outdoor dining, close proximity to the beach & the quiet street. I'd definitely recommend it!

Great location within walking distance down the beach to Byron but not in the busy part of town. Great couple of bars/ restaurants a few hundred metres away & the ocean nearly on your doorstep. A tranquil garden setting. Lovely!

A beautiful place to stay in every way

The cottage was exactly as we had expected and Jan made us very welcome. The location is perfect - in a very peaceful location just a short walk to the beautiful Belongil beach and about 2km into the centre of Byron Bay (either walking along the beach or road ... or a few minutes in the car). The cottage is very private and overlooks the garden. It is well equipped and comfortable, and even on one chilly night while we were there we were very cosy with the heater on. Would also highly recommend the Treehouse just along the road for dinner.

Relax to birdsong and crashing waves

Jan’s cottage is a delight. It has everything you need for a quiet, relaxing time away from any hustle and bustle. There’s no huge smart TV or other mod cons, but what you get is honest, simple, and non-digital, which gives you a break from that space anyway. The location is fabulous, but if you want to walk along the beach to town you need to allow a bit of time.

Garden cottage by the beach

We truly enjoyed our five-night stay at the Artist Studio Cottage in the northern part of Byron Bay. It was the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is beautifully maintained and in excellent condition, offering a cozy yet spacious atmosphere. It features a combined bedroom and living area, a well-equipped kitchen at the entrance, and a separate bathroom.Outside, the charming terrace and lush garden create a peaceful oasis to unwind. The cottage provides everything you could possibly need, and the host is both friendly and respectful of privacy, as the accommodation is tucked away in the back section of the property.The location is fantastic — the beach is just a three-minute walk away, and Byron Bay is about a 25-minute stroll along the shoreline. The setting is incredibly peaceful, and at night, you can fall asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves.A dream getaway — we would absolutely love to return soon!Michael & Andreas

everything we expected and needed

the host was very helpful and we were provided with all necessary items. so close to the beach allowing long walks and a lovely garden to relax in. I would recommend this small cottage to anyone wanting a relaxing break.

You will be able to rejuvenate and recharge in this beachside cottage where nature abounds.
Walk along the beach into the lively township of Byron Bay (with its cafes, shopping and nightlife) or enjoy the local cafe society here in Belongil and endless beaches.The popular Treehouse cafe and the Belongil Bistro are just a few doors away and are open daily.
There is off street parking and a separate entry path that leads to the cottage.
Beach access is via Manfred St or opposite the cafes. It is just a few metres to the beach.

The cottage is cosy and arty.. filled with my paintings.The cottage consists of a bed/sitting room, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. All 3 rooms open onto the patio and garden( NB the bathroom is not ensuite) There is a washing machine and BBQ . The kitchen has all the basics. There is a queen bed and a comfortable sofa that folds out to a double bed.
You will have your own access path from the road, and private use of the back garden under the poinsettia tree. You can also use the House clothes- line.

Belongil Beach is a special spot .. where you can still feel the magic of Byron Bay. You will find it a very laid- back, relaxed and peaceful place. Walk along the beach for miles or head to the Byron Lighthouse to view the whales and our magnificent coastline. Activities include surfing lessons, yoga, beach kayaking, scuba diving, sky diving, bushwalks in National Parks or climb Mt Warning. Explore little towns and villages in the area and markets, arts, crafts and music events.
