Loved our stay here

Great place to stay while in town for a football game. Excellent communication with host. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Will definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay

This property is a wonderful respite just a short drive from town. Our Aggie enjoyed visiting us away from school and getting away a bit. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and the hosts are super nice. We would gladly stay here again.

Felt like Family

The property was perfect for our quick stay to move our son out of his dorm at A&M. The hosts made us feel like family and were so welcoming. Look forward to staying at this adorable place again.

This was a cozy space that looked just like the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. The host family were friendly and responsive and it was not too far from campus. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect for game weekend!

We loved this location because it’s in the country, but still super close to campus! Needs a little updating, but it was great for my husband and me for a one night getaway. The bed was super comfortable. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Aggie Resort

This is a really nice place to stay. Fantastic hosts. Country setting really NICE!! Everything you need from coffee maker and microwave and snacks. A small refrigerator would really be nice! And better pillows really a must. If that is all I can find to suggest, that means this is a super place to stay. We are Longhorns but have to tip our hats to these Aggie hosts. But we have to add, HOOK’EM HORNS!!

I stayed at this property overnight while moving my college kiddo back home for the summer. It was quiet, secluded and perfect for a quick trip. I will definitely plan to stay here when we move him back down for his next year.

Great Spot after Game Day

Great spot for our family to stay after football game. Not too far from campus in the country…very quiet and peaceful. Blow up mattress (for our son) with bedding was set up prior to arrival which was very much appreciated as it had been a long day. Communication with property owner was very good. Room was clean and met our needs for the one night stay.

Great stay for Aggie weekend

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at this garage apartment. It was nicely decorated and space was used well. The owner was very responsive to questions and went above and beyond to make our stay great.

Great weekend getaway

Everything was great, very close to town, just far enough to feel like you’re in the country. Unfortunately we didn’t have more time to explore the property and see what all was growing in the gardens or check out the chickens, turkeys and guineas.

Parent Weekend - Aggie Style

My wife and I came in on a Parents Weekend to spend some time with our daughter at Texas A&M. Hotels were maxed out, charging higher than normal rates and we decided to give VRBO a go. We had used the site on a trip to NY once so we were familiar with the pros and cons of trying this route. We could not be happier with the choice. We were contacted by the owner with all the proper information before we arrived and found a very clean room, a very quiet countryside and a wonderful host who was even gracious to leave us with some fresh eggs that the chickens provided up that morning. It was a most welcome break from the hustle of the college town that was conveniently only a few minutes drive away. Wish we could have spent a little more time enjoying the stars at night, the quiet, the pond and the sounds of nature. We will definitely try to rent this space in the future! Thanks again Rodney and Gig 'em!

Country comforts

We enjoyed the welcoming host and lovely atmosphere during our stay. My daughter was excited to pet the chickens, donkeys, and horse as well as a bit of fishing. Would recommend for others to visit and hope to book another trip in the future.

Quiet and comfortable

The last time we went to an Aggie football game, we stayed in a hotel and there were people coming and going at all hours of the night and we didn't get any sleep. This time we decided to find a quiet place to stay, and this property was perfect. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We didn't get to meet the owners but they left everything ready for us, and were responsive to any communications.

Can't say enough good things!!

Rented via VRBO/Homeaway for well over a decade all around the US. Rodney and his family couldn't be better folks to rent from!! Friendly, great communication, all around good folks and the rental was BETTER than advertised. Perfect for our family that was looking for a quiet, comfortable place to relax after a fun day of Aggie football. Won't bother looking at hotels in College Station and will be contacting Rodney first!!
