Tranquila cabaña junto al lago recientemente renovada con su propio muelle y baño flotante. Disfruta de la natación, el kayak y el paddle surf. Sitio aislado con 150 pies de costa.

Ubicado en el hermoso estanque Beech Hill. En la orilla, disfruta durmiendo en la hamaca o descansando junto a la fogata al aire libre. Escuche las llamadas de los loones y disfrute de los patos mientras nadan junto a la cabaña. Bonito porche para esos días lluviosos. ¡Disfrutarás cada minuto y nunca querrás irte!

Traiga su propio bote para pescar, practicar tubing y esquiar en el lago. O simplemente disfrute de los kayaks y tablas de paddle provistos. La costa del fondo arenoso desciende rápidamente a aguas profundas a pocos pies del borde. Agua muy clara que puedes ver hacia abajo unos 20 pies o más.

Excelente ubicación, puede nadar en un hermoso lago fresco y aún lo suficientemente cerca como para pasar el día en Acadia y Bar Harbor. Ambos se encuentran a unos 50 minutos.

Beech Hill Pond tiene 4. 5 millas de largo, media milla de ancho y hasta 104 pies de profundidad. Se han observado truchas, salmones y otras especies de peces en el lago. Se puede ver a las águilas calvas cazando justo en frente de la cabaña. Vimos a uno pescar un pez grande justo en frente de nosotros. Los Loons prevalecen en el lago y se puede escuchar llamando en la noche en el aire tranquilo y silencioso.

Los peces que se encuentran en Beech Hill Pond incluyen salmón, trucha arcoiris, trucha de lago, trucha de arroyo, lubina, y muchos otros. La trucha de lago más grande de Maine fue capturada en el lago en 1958. Pesaba 31. 5 libras.

Tom Seymour dijo que Beech Hill Pond era una de las "mejores apuestas para la trucha de lago Maine". No es posible pescar desde la orilla del lago, aunque se puede pescar en el lago.

This was the best place I could have chosen!! So quiet, beautiful, comfortable, clean, relaxing!! It was great to get away from the crowds in Acadia! We spent more time on the lake! Loved the camp fire, kayak, paddle board, lions, barred owls, swimming in the clear water and soaking in the sun!!

It was wonderful!

We loved this place! It was so cozy! It has everything you need and you could stay in and find plenty to do. However, we were there to visit Acadia National Park so we didn’t get to spend as much time there as we would have liked to. Wonderful hosts as well! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Quiet Cabin

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The location is definitely remote but the lake is so peaceful and quiet. Internet was strong and we had everything that we needed. Cabin was clean and comfortable.

My Favorite Place to Stay

My family had an amazing time at this cottage. The lake is beautiful, and the cottage is clean and well equipped. It was an absolute dream vacation for us, and we cannot wait to come back next summer. We love it there. Thank you for such an awesome vacation!

Quaint cottage on water

Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. Accommodations were just as described. Clean, well appointed. Had everything we needed. Hosts responded to questions immediately. Would highly recommend for quiet relaxing vacation but easy drive for hiking Acadia and Bar Harbor jaunts.

Gorgeous

We loved staying at the camp! Everything we needed was provided, more than we expected. Sunrise was absolutely beautiful every morning. We used the kayaks and paddle boards, rented a pontoon boat for a day. We are in most nights and had great supplies for cooking. Great fire pit with gas grill. If I ever get back to Maine I will definitely rent here again.

A Very Peaceful Place

This is a very peaceful place! The cottage had everything you might need. My teens enjoyed the provided paddle boards. My husband set up his work laptop in the front bedroom and enjoyed the beautiful views while he worked. I loved listening to the sound of the water on the shore. Would love to return someday.

Tranquil Lakeside Cottage

We wanted a cottage a bit away from the bustle of Bar Harbor as a hub to explore Acadia and this fit the bill. The Cottage is clean, well appointed and appears to have been recently renovated. Located about 30 mins from Ellsworth and 1 hour from Acadia, it was far enough away from the Columbus Day crowds. Ellsworth is good size (~8K residents) has several restaurants and a small downtown. There is also a well-stocked general store in Otis about 10 minutes away. We had a wonderful time just hanging at the cottage and exploring the area.

Lovely Lake Getaway

The house has been very nicely remodeled and is well appointed. Beds and couches were comfortable, views of the lake were spectacular, kitchen had everything we needed. Although the lake is very densely developed, this cottage is well screened from its neighbors and the lake was surprisingly quiet. There were some motor boats, but none were annoying. A cormorant visited daily and once a bald eagle circled in front of the cottage and plucked a fish out right in front of us. We enjoyed kayaking, SUP boarding, and swimming, as well as walking on the lake road. I highly recommend this lovely lakeside rental!

A peaceful great time!

We spent a week at the house on Beech Hill Pond. Our stay consisted of two couples and there was plenty of room for us all. The house comes very clean, very well equipped and we were able to sit (hang out) both inside and outside. We utilized the bbq and the bonfire pit. The house is located just 20 minutes from Ellsworth and about 45 minutes from Bar Harbor. There is plenty to do both at the house, on the lake, and within a short distance of the house. This is our second stay at this house and we are looking forward to returning. Veena the owner was great and easy to keep in contact with.

Peaceful week on the water

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cabin on the pond, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views. The cabin is perfectly situated, allowing us to soak in the beauty of the water and surrounding nature. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. We truly appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. Washer/dryer was an added bonus! One of our favorite aspects of the stay was the fire pit. We spent our evenings gathered around the fire, sharing stories and making memories under the stars. It was the perfect way to end each day. Overall, this cabin provided a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We left feeling refreshed and full of cherished memories. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely Exceptional Lakefront Oasis

Our time at this lake front was memorable and relaxing! The house was even more spectacular in person. We marveled at the sunrises, view of the brilliant sun setting sky, the sound of loons at dusk and dawn... I can’t think of a more magical place to retreat. We spent a little over to weeks in July 2020. The house was well-appointed, cozy and very clean. There were ample supplies of cleaning products and other knick-knacks. The manager, Veena, was attentive and responsive - ahead of and during our trip. It was our first vacation during Covid-19, we felt safe and that safety was a top priority. She also found biking trails for us and places to enjoy the outdoors in the area and was a delight. We truly enjoyed, loved the house and we will be back.

This on one of the best vacation escapes

Had our 31st anniversary and decided to stay at some far remote and calm place. It did it !!! One of the best places we've stayed so far, and the whole time was spend enjoying every moment of it ! As other reviews have - the area and the cottage are a great fit to off season travelers. When we wanted to extend our stay by one extra night Veena was so nice accommodating it. Wonderful camp on the water!

Clean and modern cabin on an absolutely beautiful property! Nice kayaks and paddle boards to use. Screened in porch. Campfire. All simply wonderful. Sitting by the water at dusk listening to the loons was enchanting. Great hiking nearby, Eagle Bluff was as amazing as Acadia with no tourists!

An excellant time

We enjoyed our stay immensely and are looking forward to staying again. The house was just the right size and was recently redone. It was very clean and came very well stocked, we didn't have to bring a thing! The cabin is in a great serene location and was perfect for us. Veena was very helpful and was a great host!

Nice house on a really nice little lake

We enjoyed our time in the house. The property was extremely clean and the air conditioning in the house is a nice touch, that out of the ordinary in this part of Maine. The lake and lake access are excellent.
