A great time all around

Everything was as it should be, and in working order. We loved the area, and the way the property was setup. It had a nice sized driveway, which was nice since we brought the boat. Just an all around good time.

Hochatown Spring Break

Great location near Beavers Bend State Park. Cabin is secluded, and hot tub is out of the elements which made it perfect with a chill still in the air. Will book again.

Nice and quiet getaway

The cabin overall was nice, clean, quiet and big enough for our party of 6. It's super close to the lake and the places we planned to visit on our trip. No issues whatsoever besides the cell service in the area which wasn't too bad since we did have access to the cabin's WIFI and were out majority of the time. Would definitely book again!

Our experience at this cabin was great. The info was all emailed before we arrived. The cabin was clean and ready for us to have a good time. It was close to all the things to do in the town. We would stay here again and would refer to others.

Cabin was a nice cozy vibe in a quiet neighborhood you could say. Cabin was spacious & clean basically as listed. Only thing I did not like was there was no instructions for hot tub was still able to use it though just instructions would have been nice. Over all stay was need & much enjoyed by my guests and I !!

Weekend Getaway

Overall the cabin worked for a short weekend getaway. Definitely needs some repairs, like mold on the walls, the fridge leaking in the kitchen, the bed broken upstairs when you sit on it. Not enough towels to house the appropriate people. One of the chairs at the kitchen bar broken. Not enough chlorine for the hot tub, had a bad odor. The grill needs to be replaced.

Great cabin and amenities

The cabin is very nice and we really loved all of the amenities. We spent several afternoons hanging out in the yard playing cornhole and made use of the grill and firepit. We had a few minor complaints. Other reviews have mentioned the towels, we were glad to have brought extras. The fridge leaked and stopped making ice halfway through our stay and the kitchen is in need of an oven mit. You can’t set the temperature below 70 degrees and the front screen door would get stuck when you tried to go out through it from the inside. We also had a lamp in a bedroom with a bad bulb. But over all we really enjoyed the property and our stay!

Girls weekend

We stayed here for a girls weekend. Though the property was beautifully and had most of what was needed it wasn’t restocked with paper towels, toilet paper or towels. What linens were there were very worn and raggedy and they smelled musty like they’d been left in a washing machine. Two of the beds had sheets that appeared to have been slept in which was inconvenient since it wasn’t discovered until we were ready to go to sleep. The hot tub had a film of scum floating on top so we didn’t even get to use it. We really enjoyed the grounds and the fire pit was nice. Communication was excellent.

A little more than ok

The cabin was great except for a few things, Which is why I said just okay. The hot tub was dirty but we did find a tiny cup of chlorine, not sure it was enough. The extra beds such as the trundles and spare mattress in the closet had no linens. Several pillows had no cases and extremely stained needing to be replaced. There were not enough towels for the amount of people it said it could sleep, only 3 or 4. Kitchen had good appliances/gadgets and space. We loved the outdoor seating! Neighborhood was nice and quiet. People could party next door and not be a bother because it was spread out enough. Very close to Beaver's Bend! Inconvenienced by a few things but over all it was good enough.

Disappointing experience

Our stay at the cabin was subpar! The place was dirty, and the temperature control was a joke, especially upstairs. Cracked TV, leaking toilet, and a sink that wouldn't drain properly were just the beginning of the horror show. The mildew-infested towels were a nice touch, as were the roaches crawling around. Dust was everywhere and the fridge leaked all over while failing to keep anything cool.The outside stairs are dangerously high and not up to code. The flimsy railing added to the danger, while wasps swarmed around the porch and play structure.To top it off, the management was completely unresponsive. For the insane amount we paid, this was a rip-off. Save yourself the misery and avoid this dump at all costs. The owner should be ashamed to even offer this place to guests. It was a horrendous and way-too-expensive experience.

Pics are nice online Master is really just a bigger bed only no bathroom in master suite it’s shared upstairs . House was super hot when we got there and it took till 2 am to cool down Fridge leaked water badly and bare kept food cold . Never got drinks cold as fridge should have Ice maker on fridge did not dispense ice Broken shelf inside fridge From door screen door couldn’t open it was stuck Horseshoes pots were blocked by trees and horseshoes were only two there with one being broken Hot tub area appeared to be damaged by a tree and jets only halfway worked when randomly it would shoot water across the room to the electrical box. TV also did not work String lights around back patio only had two bulbs working Picnic table was about to break and fall to the ground I could go on and on Contacted host by text and no response

Memorial Day in Broken Bow

We rented the property for three nights with another family over Memorial Day weekend (4 adults, 4 elementary aged kids). Our first thought upon arrival is "they had a fantastic photographer" as none of the photos indicated that their would be neighbors close by on every side. The house itself is nice-enough from the outside, but it is very close to multiple vacation homes. Upon entering the house, we found it to not be particularly clean. There were tons of flies in every room (we called the management company that acknowledged as much, but said they were having a problem keeping them out, and they offered no solution). There were beer caps on the furniture and mantle, and floors had not been swept and were dusty with a ton of pebbles from outside. About fifteen minutes after we arrived we watched a squirrel enter the house through a hole in the porch roof, and we heard him go in and out all weekend. The hot tub water was hazy and had a light funky smell that grew stronger over the course of the weekend - to the point that we did not use it the last two days. There were wasps in the play fort and poison ivy growing on the house and the hot tub building. The interior of house itself was fine - four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two covered porches, and an open kitchen-living area where we hung out a lot. In short, it was a nice house that has been poorly maintained recently. I would not rent it again, nor any other property managed by "Evolve" in Broken Bow.

Hi Joshua, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The listing description includes a map so that guests can see the approximate location and neighborhood of the home before booking. - The cabin is thoroughly cleaned and inspected before each guest's arrival. The property manager explained that the house is sprayed regularly by a pest control company, but unfortunately, flies are common in a wooded area. - The hot tub water is drained, and the filter is cleaned with bleach and refilled with water every time before a guest's stay. Chlorine is also added to the water. We recommend guests follow the guidelines, which include showering before use and only using for 15-20 minutes at a time. House is not thoroughly cleaned & no property communication

Me and my friends stayed here for my birthday weekend. The house is exactly as described in the listing which is great. However, the floors were filthy and my friends baby was crawling and literally wads of hair was stuck on her and dust AND dirt particles. The upstairs shower had dirt stains on it, stained bath towels and NO hand soap. This was disgusting. The cleaning company they have is not doing their job. There also needs to be a lot of dusting done to the home. Our kids were happy about a playground but it was filthy with ants and webs and dust. Yes, I know it’s outside, however, the least the property manager can do is hose it down in between guests or something so it’s not as filthy. Also, the upstairs bedroom tv was on when we came even though it’s supposedly suppose to be off according to their check out process. And there was no remote to be found. I contacted the guest contact for evolve my first night letting her know of our disappointment however, she never responded until I sent her ANOTHER email. Also, evolve never responded to me when I contacted them requesting early check in. They never even reached back out to me during or after my stay to apologize for never responding to me. If you like filth and non existent communication with the owners, then this is the place for you.

The property was clean and ready for us upon arrival at the 4:00 PM check in. The grounds could use some up keep, the chairs around the fire pit have been in the sun for a while and need replacing. This cabin was everything we could have asked for! Our group loved it more than the one that we chose last year. The trundle beds were an added bonus for our group.

Great value, great stay

Our group loved everything about this cabin! Great location and close to everything in town, clean, fire pit, shuffleboard table, hot tub. Everything you could need. Y’all come back!

This cabin was perfect!! Plenty of sleeping arrangements. Set up was very nice! Very clean! Hot tub outhouse was amazing best part of the trip! Will definitely book this cabin again!
