The property was ok. It wasn’t properly cleaned. Dishes and coffee put upon arrival was dirty. But other than that it’s an ok place, if you don’t mind being watched by an over zealous host!

Awesome Stay

We booked this for a job our company had in GA and let me tell you the host James and his house are awesome. I would recommend for family vacay really anything. Place is awesome and clean host is beyond great. If you are heading to GA this is where you need to stay.

Entertaining

The outside theater was a big hit, with the boys , we explained what drive in was , totally fun for at home. Entertainment for kids was outstanding. Was a bit disappointed in the cleanliness.

Full ENTERTAINMENT!!

I had to book last minute for my family and I and it was not a probably. The host James made so easy for me. He kept an open line of communication answer all my questions. Last but not least the house is SOOOO MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!! My family really enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning.

New Years stay

Only a few minor issues...they weren't even big enough to mention.... until the home owner was rude. We had cleaning issues but he said that a house keeper came hrs. B4 we checked in but we were finding things form the pervious renter...shoes etc...there was hair in the bed and my daughter complained abt the shower not being clean....the master bedrooms bed has an extreme dip in the middle so we looked under the bed and the slats for support were cracked...im 5m pregnant so it was a bit uncomfortable. He also mentioned that shot glasses were missing that were in the cabinet and never replied when I told him where to find them...also the fire pit ran out of propane and all the other tanks were empty....and the neighborhood kids l8ke jumping the fence and walking through the yard as the houses are extremely close together...also parking was limited one because he left his boat in a very small driveway so only 1 car was able to fit. other than that we were still able to enjoy ourselves.

Location Fun & Terrific Owner

My family planned to do things in Atlanta & Stone Mountain. This property was a great location for both. After each outing it was great to be able come back, relax in a nice house, in a nice neighborhood and play some pool & pac-man with my family. James, the owner was the best VRBO owner we’ve ever worked with!!!! We’ll definitely book with him if we get back to that area.

Very clean, nice neighborhood, the contact person contacted me that evening to make sure everything was good with us. Kids loved the games and pool table. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Fun getaway

James is an exceptional host. Lots of fun. The house is absolutely ready for a great time. We did have some confusion with the number of bedrooms available which was a bit frustrating at first but JAMES was such a great host and fixed the problem on his end immediately. We are not a smoking family so we were very surprised at the strong smell of smoke and then air freshener. The ventilation did help some. I do wish the reviews would have stated that the smoke smell was pretty strong in the house because probably I would’ve looked elsewhere. It really was bothersome. I’m sure it would not have mattered if you are already a smoker. It really was a quiet and calm neighborhood very serene and we had zero problems with any of our vehicles-we were in and out quite a bit with our little group of six. I gave five stars because of James!

Enjoyed our stay

Lovely home. Enjoyed the entertainment room and backyard the most. Master bedroom bed was SOOOOOO comfortable I didn't want to leave. You may need a more detailed housekeeper though. Don't get me wrong most areas were clean, but I had to do some deeper cleaning in others, (mostly the floors) and someone was smoking in there prior to our arrival. Our kids are sensitive to smoke so this was a bit problematic. Outside of those issues I'd rent again. Quiet neighborhood, great entertaining space in the backyard, beautiful artwork and a cozy Owner's suite. Lovely

Spring Break 2021

James is a great host. His home feels like a home away from home. We enjoyed the pool and Pacman games. We were able to cook home cooked meals and sit and eat together. James was also very understanding and considerate to our needs. I would definitely recommend this ho e as a place to stay as well as stay again myself. Thanks for having us.

Cute getaway, good.location

The property was well-maintained and the owners left a few nice touches. They left their number too in case anything was needed. The location was great. 40 minutes from Atlanta, an hour and a half from zip lining and an hour and a half from Helen. In a nice neighborhood. Very much enjoyed our stay

NOT GOOD!! DON'T RENT!!

We arrived at this home after a 13 hour drive. They let check in a little early which was nice. We entered the home and immediately smelled a strong smoke/perfume odor. We went to let our dog out in the backyard. There was large gap under the gate so we could not let him loose. We have stayed at many VRBO's in the past and have always been satisfied. But not in one that felt like we were in someone elses home with their personal stuff as if they hurried out the door before we got there. The dishes still in the dishwasher, old condiments and food crumbs in frige. Under the sink in the master bath was all personal hygiene stuff like hair brush, half used toiletpaper and other personal stuff just thrown in! Front closet had random items thrown into it like a fan, paint and TP. It was a mess. But most of all the smell was very strong. We texted the owner immediately and told him we did not feel comfortable staying here. He was very nice and said he knew of the smell and agreed to 100% refund and said he didn't want our vacation to be ruined . So we left and went to a hotel wondering what to do next go home or try to find another VRBO. We did find another VRBO and arrived the next day to a beautiful home. But a day later we got an email from owners wife saying after discussing it with her husband they decided to not refund our money!! If James would not have said they would refund us, we would have gone home!! NOT rent another VRBO!! So we ended up paying for two VRBO's for the same month! And VRBO wouldn't help!! I even took pictures of the mess but you can't take pictures of smell!! We were in the home for less than an hour but our clothing had a smoke smell.

Very comfortable!

We enjoyed our time at James and Lisa’s home. We love the artwork, and decor. James was very gracious when we locked ourselves out of the home and quickly gave assistance!

Beautiful Home

The owners responded to messages extremely fast & are incredibly hospitable. We absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay. Property was in a quiet nice community. Pictures are accurate. Pool table was a great! Definitely recommend this rental. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!
