Bonita vista del sonido de Long Island, a 30 pies de la playa, adyacente al Parque Estatal Silver Sands y al paseo marítimo, a una milla del pueblo verde y el tren a Nueva York. Muy bien amueblado. Steps to beach

Exactly what we needed close to beach and comfortable home. Communication is always available with friendly owner. We love our family stay and will be back.

Great Location

Historic home right across the street from the beach! Sitting on the balcony and watching the beach was a real treat! The owners were very friendly. We were made to feel welcomed. Very close to Charles Island.

Spacious, well maintained older home, with lots of character, and all the essentials provided! Absolutely loved sitting on the front porch sipping my tea every morning and watching the water. Very relaxing! Just what we needed.

Peaceful, convenient beach getaway

The house was perfectly located within walking distance to two beaches and a lovely boardwalk. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The house was perfect size for our family with lots of beds to accommodate us. We loved the deck for sunrise and sunset and even used both little porches plus the yard. Property has lots to offer!

Lovely summer beach house.

Lovely, clean duplex with owner on the other side. Ample parking. Beach was quiet and right across the street. Great 1 mile broad-walk 4 houses away. Greek restaurant, next block, is scrumptious. Had 3 takeout meals in 1 week.

Beach Beach Beach

This property is a stone's throw from beach. The community beach never crowded. You can also walk to the public beach which has a concession stand and lifeguards. You can walk to Walnut Beach and get ice cream, coffee shop paddle boards etc. There is a cute restaurant called the Greek Spot. That is 4 houses from the beach house. They have healthy food and then some other types. It was so reasonably priced and wonderful. You cab BYOB. Even though I do not drink that's a good deal for people that do. The owner Leo is also wonderful. Holly the owner of beach house was wonderful to deal with. If we had any questions, she was ready to help. My family and I explored on our own. For the price we paid this was a great reasonably priced vacation. If Holly will have us pretty sure we will be back!! Thanks Holly for everything!!!

We had a wonderful unobstructed view of the water. The beach was right across the street. There was convenient parking, and a very nice backyard and grill. The house was spacious and had aaC units throughout. The location could not be beat.

Perfect family vacation

My husband, three boys (24, 16, 15) and I had the perfect end of the summer vacation at Holly's place. The house was exactly as described and really perfect for us, we so enjoyed the location (beach, park and boardwalk), we'll be back - thumbs up for the Greek spot too!

Wonderful time at the Shore

We really enjoyed the beach across the street and the proximity to Silver Sands. We took long walks on the beach and the boardwalk, swam in the Sound. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a lovely stay.

Overall great value

Had the pleasure of staying here with our family for the week this past July. Check-in process was very easy. Owner lives next door and very quick to respond to any questions or issues. The home, which has been lifted, has plenty of parking. We had three cars total and had no issues. The location is excellent. There is a small beach in front of the house, or you can choose to walk about three houses down to access the state park beach. The state park is beautiful and has a wonderful boardwalk for running, walking, and observing nature. There is an excellent Greek restaurant about four houses down the street that is amazing. We ate their several times this trip. There are several bedrooms and each has an air conditioning unit which is really nice. The third floor loft is open, but has a half-bath and three beds which is great for children/teens. The only downsides we really found was that the kitchen/dining is very small. There is no real dining table that can sit more than about 3 people comforably. There is a table in the backyard and a grill which is nice, but really no where for our whole group to sit. We just ended up eating out every night. Overall it is an excellent value, especially for a large group ( we had 5 adults, two children).

Summer Delight!

This is my second year visiting this property. I love it! The duplex is very comfortable for the whole family this time. Lots of room, many places for some quiet time. Most important to me is sitting on the deck and watching the water. I look forward to my next visit and I can recommend this duplex without any qualifications. Can’t wait to return!

Great location

We had a great time at Holly’s place, which is very conveniently across from the beach at Silver Sand State Park. The house is spacious, sunny, has a nice balcony to enjoy the sunrise above the water, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Holly is very prompt in answering questions and assist with issues during the stay. We would not hesitate to return.

Wonderful getaway right on the water!

Delightful,homey duplex with wonder viewing deck of Long Island Sound and a small beach right out the front door. Access to Silver Sands State Park is only four doors down and is fantastic. Brand new board walk makes walking and running along the shore really easy. Beach walking is great too. There is a brand new building with changing space, restrooms, and a refreshment stand open during the season. I loved staying there with all the aminities of home but the shore living too! Definitely a keeper

Great location; warm owner

Waking up to the sounds of the waves gently washing up on Long Island Sound was very relaxing. Plenty of room in this multilevel beach front home. Very cozy interior. The owner/host is very warm and friendly. She answered all of our questions.

Great location!

If you want to relax at the beach, this is the place. Holly was great, very accommodating. The property is at the end of the street so traffic is limited. Quiet, lovely area. Park with walking trail is right down the street.

Quiet, nice place to stay

Holly and Kurt were great hosts. The place was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. Holly did a great job checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star was because two of the bedrooms were not air conditioned. One of us slept downstairs on the couch because it was just too warm in the bedroom that wasn't air conditioned.
