Cabaña rústica y espaciosa, con juegos para su familia o grupo grande

Nuestra casa de huéspedes restaurada de 2.500 pies cuadrados, "The Barn", tiene el encanto rústico de 1840, rodeada de 40 acres escénicos de relajación y diversión para todo el grupo. Acceso para discapacitados. Mascota amigable. Nuestros dos perros amigables (30 lb Goldendoodle y 18 lb Havanese) están en la propiedad y siempre sienten curiosidad por nuestros visitantes.

Interior: techos abovedados, plano de planta abierto, luces del cielo, grandes ventanales con vistas a los hermosos alrededores. 2 amplios dormitorios / salas de estar en el piso de arriba, (con cortinas de privacidad, sin puertas de dormitorio) cada uno con su propio baño, 1 dormitorio grande en la planta baja (con una puerta de dormitorio), baño grande en la planta baja, muebles de comedor y para sentarse en el porche delantero, lavadora de mesa de comedor LG / secadora, cocina completa, HVAC, 2 televisores, wifi, camas para 12 personas, 4 sofás de tamaño completo y espacio en el piso para acomodar a grupos más grandes. Los muebles son casuales, rústicos y eclécticos.

Juegos internos: billar / ping-pong, air hockey, piano antiguo y órgano

Juegos exteriores: cancha de tenis con redes de baloncesto (la cancha es más antigua). Deportes básicos disponibles: raquetas, pelotas), estanque de natación de 1/2 acre con muelle flotante, bote de remos y kayaks, un estanque más grande para la pesca, grandes campos para el último frisbee / fútbol.

Beautiful place

Last October I stayed at the Retreat next door to the barn with my college friends of 50 years. It was wonderful. I decided to try the barn with my husband, two adult children and their spouses. I asked everyone what they liked best. Sandra: the mom, enjoyed the kitchen. I know Lisa would have it well stocked and clean! I didn't have to bring anything but the food. I also liked the fact we each had our own bedroom with KING beds and attached bathroom. We all had privacy when needed. Gary: Dad liked the games, a basketball court, pool table, and ping pong. He also enjoyed the kayaking. Nicole: loved the atmosphere and the decor. Bryan: loved the variety of games, small appliances in kitchen, and the dedicated bathrooms. Jessie: loved the paddle boats and kayaks and plenty of wood for the fire. Fire starters were definitely a plus! Paul: plenty of places to sit and relax, inside and outside, front porch and backyard. Outdoor lighting was great also! We had some great family time.

50th Birthday Celebration

10/10 experience. The barn is a perfect location to celebrate with a group of friends. Sitting on the front porch, drinking coffee is a perfect way to start the day. Watching the birds and deer and listening to the pond make for a peaceful start. The fire pit was the perfect place to end the day, enjoying food and drinks and playing games. Lisa and Rich are generous hosts, offering a beautiful, well appointed place to gang out and have fun! We had a blast and can't wait to return!

This place is amazing. Lisa and Rich couldn't be any more accommodating. They supplied us with every thing we needed. All of the guys were thanking me for finding this place, but the Clark's deserve all the credit.

4TH OF JULY AT THE BARN

Rich Lisa With the visit from my family to occupy the barn for the 4th of July was a very special time for us. There were many options for the teenagers and adults . The piano was a big hit for 3 of the grandchildren. While the foosball, pool table, air hockey and pingpong were all played , I think the shuffleboard was used the most . There was always something to do. The entire house was super clean. The barn was stocked with all the things needed to make our stay stress free. A very well thought out floor plan made for easy access to all amenities. My family and I had a great time in the barn. We hope to be back again and highly recommend this property ! Awesome space for our event

I hosted a women's wellness weekend here, and Lisa was very clear and accommodating. I've been here for few family gatherings in the fall and winter - The Barn and its surrounding property are spacious and beautiful, any time of year, with more sleeping space than most properties in the area. At this particular event, the women who joined me loved the barn and got to relax, enjoy the campfire, sit by the pond, cook together in the kitchen, hike at nearby Towner's Lake, and watch movies together--it was a blast! Highly recommend this spacious and cozy property.

Best place for Kent Graduation!

This was our THIRD stay at the Barn for our kids’ graduation s. It’s the perfect place for all your family and friends to stay. Lisa and Rich have done a great hob on upgrades since our first stay 3 years ago. It’s like a home away from home!!!

Teen Girls Retreat 2025

This is our second retreat at The Barn. The owners are accommodating and very nice. Easy to book and just enough communication with details. A nice welcome area with water and snacks on arrival. Kitchen is stocked with every appliance you need. Games, movies, multiple lounge areas, basketball/pickleball court. A cozy fire pit area with picnic tables nearby to eat or play games. Kayaks and paddleboat for the lake. The Barn has been perfect for us and our group of teen girls. The place is comfy and welcoming as soon as we walk in the door. Areas to eat, have Bible study and learn, activities, enjoy outdoors, movie time... If you are looking for a relaxing place, then I would not hesitate to book here.

Love The Barn!

My women’s fellowship group spent a retreat weekend here for the third year in a row. With 15 or more attendees, we need the space. We love the Barn’s layout, space, sleeping accommodations, and amenities. Owners Rich and Lisa are extremely responsive and communicative. The home is very clean, and each year, some upgrade has been made. A basement level bathroom is slated for this year, which will be a welcome addition. We’ve only been there in the winter but can easily imagine how wonderful the Barn would be for a family reunion or other gathering in warmer weather.

2nd Annual Zroni Retreat

Once again, we had a wonderful experience at The Barn for our second annual staff retreat! Lisa and Rich’s place is perfect for our group… And they are so accommodating and caring! For a large group like ours, it makes for the perfect location for us to come together and laugh…share…. play games…cook…. And be together in a beautiful open floorplan! Family Thanksgiving celebration

The Barn is spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen is nicely laid out. The bedrooms were cozy and there were plenty of fun games for all. Our family had a wonderful weekend together at the Barn.

Family Fun

This was our third visit to The Barn. We celebrate all of our kids’ 30th birthdays here. We will be back in February for number four. We love that it is clean, accommodates so many people and we can bring our dogs. When we travel, we watch each others’ dogs, so bringing all of them makes it so special. Lisa and Rich are amazing and good, kind people.

Fun family stay

Eleven sisters and we stayed for 3 nights. The house was clean, well stocked with plenty of beds for everyone. We had paddle boards and used the kayaks. Fun game room. Plenty of room to play cards. We made trips to Cuyahoga and did some hiking at Brandywine Falls and the Ledges. Also went to Nelson Kennedy Ledges, farther east, great hiking there also. I contacted Lisa several times and got a quick response. We are thinking we may go back.

Back to nature

Our group of 7 enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Barn. The scenery was beautiful. We spent most of our time outdoors at the pond- enjoying the view, kayaking, paddle boating & swimming. The fire pit area offered plenty of seating & view of the pond. We also utilized some of the indoor activities such as the pool table, air hockey & ping pong tables The Barn offered plenty of space for us to spread out & relax and to gather together for meals & games. My Uncle is wheelchair bound & he was able to access the main floor & downstairs recreation areas. The double doors made it easy to navigate his electric wheelchair. The main floor bedroom was spacious & handicap accessible. There was ample space between the floor and bed frame to easily accommodate my uncle’s portable electric hoyer lift. We would definitely stay here again & recommend the Barn to others that utilize lift devices for special needs. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to not have the lawn crew or the driveway workers show up so early. On our last morning of vacation, Both crews showed up bright & early…Making lots of noise. This prevented us from being able to enjoy our final morning outdoors. We suggest you schedule lawn & other work crews to come after check out time. Other than that - we had a wonderful time! & enjoyed the Barn & property! Kind regards, Karen & family

Perfect for families

The Barn is an incredible place for families of all ages. We had a group of 20 people ranging from four years old to 90. The owners have put their heart and soul into making this into a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. It was quiet, and felt secluded and serene, even though located near a relatively busy road. The kids loved swimming and fishing, the older adults loved being able to be close by the lake with plenty of comfortable seating. The owners are great to work with. The only things we would have liked but weren't there were a juicer (which the owner is now getting) and an outside faucet. We can't recommend this place enough!

Wonderful Getaway!

Our women's fellowship group had our second retreat in The Barn; we made the reservation last year immediately after staying there. We have already booked for next year. The Barn is spacious, well equipped, with room to spread out or to gather. There are plenty of comfortable beds with extra blankets, pillows, linens, etc. The accommodations hold a group well. The Barn was very clean and well decorated, and Rich and Lisa are very responsive if needed. There was a family group staying in in the nearby home, "The Retreat," but we had plenty of parking and room. We didn't bother each other. We highly recommend The Barn for a gathering such as ours or a family reunion. Combined, the two properties would be perfect for a larger reunion or friends' gathering. The early spring weather didn't allow for spending much time outdoors, but it would be wonderful in the summer. All in all, our group loves "The Barn." We ate one dinner at Welshfield Inn and highly recommend that, too.

A new Favorite Family Gathering Place!

We stayed at the Barn for our annual fall family get away. The renovated and recently updated Barn both met and exceeded all of our expectations. We had many activities available to us without ever having to leave the property. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with every appliance you may possibly need. The Barn offers many options for all to sleep very comfortably. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. This is a beautiful property and we look forward to returning for many more family gatherings.

Best cabin we’ve stayed at!

We do an annual cabin getaway with friends each year. This property is hands down the nicest, cleanest, overall best cabin we’ve been to. The hosts were so thoughtful with the amenities and were great to work with. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and we look forward to staying again in the future.
