Bungalow '46 - Escapada a la región vinícola

¡Estamos muy contentos de que esté considerando el Bungalow '46 para su estadía en Walla Walla! Nuestra casa fue construida en 1946 y ha sido restaurada con amor: hay varias características que hacen de este un bungalow Walla Walla muy especial, que incluyen: hermosos techos curvos, arcos de inspiración marroquí, el piso de la chimenea Arts & Crafts, ventanas de bloques de vidrio y Las esquinas de la esquina del comedor. Además, esperamos que disfrute tanto del porche cubierto justo al lado de la sala de estar como del patio más grande y el patio privado completamente cercado.

El Bungalow '46 tendrá capacidad para hasta 6 personas. Encontrará 3 habitaciones queen y 2 ½ baños; Cada habitación tiene un colchón seleccionado por su lujo y comodidad. Dos habitaciones están en el piso principal y comparten un baño (con bañera y ducha separada); El tercer dormitorio / baño está en el nivel inferior, justo al lado de la habitación familiar. Nuestra casa tiene un horno de gas, aire acondicionado y dos tanques de agua caliente, una chimenea de gas y una cocina completamente equipada, además de una barbacoa en el patio trasero y un bar de vinos en nuestro salón. También tenemos una lavadora y secadora en el lavadero de nivel inferior.

TENGA EN CUENTA: según el código de la ciudad, no permitimos que las autocaravanas se estacionen en la entrada o en la calle.

Wonderful stay in Walla Walla

The home was spotless and exactly as described in the listing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - super easy to get to downtown & Whitman (by car or on foot). Very thoughtful hosts who had excellent communication and detailed information about the home. Would definitely stay again!

Walla Walla cycling trip

One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed in. Kitchen super well equipped. Everything clean and no Fabreeze smell. Nice neighborhood, easy walk to downtown through the historic district. Layout with 2 bedrooms up and one down with its own bathroom was great. The extra half bath on the main floor was a real plus. Beautiful well maintained backyard and patio! The only issue I had was no blackout curtains in the bedroom. Bright lights from the neighbor light up the room all night. For me that makes for a challenging sleep. Bring the eye mask. White curtains are bright and cheerful but with no blind option to block light if you’re sensitive like me may be an issue. I had the front bedroom. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

Sweet house with good separation of spaces

Perfect for two couples, or for two couples plus another family member, since two of the bedrooms share one of the full baths. Lovely backyard for outdoor dining and socializing. Everything worked as advertised (which isn’t always true), and we would happily stay there again.

Bridal Shower Family Trip

Bungalow ‘46 was the perfect place for our family to enjoy our visit to Walla Walla. Great, quiet location close to downtown and shopping. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the porch, backyard and the bottle of wine. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Cute bungalow!

This house was perfect for our needs! The location is great, and the house has a lot of character (even the creaky older floors)! We were in town for a graduation so we didn’t have much time to enjoy the backyard, but it would have been a lovely place to hang out. Check-in was seamless and communication from the host was very informative. We would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

Wonderful place to stay

We came to Walla Walla with our family to celebrate our son who graduated from WWCC. The place was wonderful for all of us to hang out in the morning for breakfast and in the evening for dinner. I love to cook and everything I needed was there. Will definitely recommend this special house.

Nice location

We stayed here with a friend and realised we have stayed here in the past also. House is nicely appointed and the back yard is lovely. Convenient location close to town and quiet neighborhood. Would be nice to have fans in the rooms to move air but that’s just me. They let you know the floors are squeaky (it’s an old house so not unexpected) but if you have someone sensitive to noise at night they definitely would notice the squeaking, especially if sleeping downstairs. Worked fine for us.

A lovely home and neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay so much. All of the amenities at the home were great; the home was roomier than I was expecting, and very charming and comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood and great location. Would definitely stay here again. Hosts provided very clear information and everything worked like a charm.

Many years ago, Bungalow ‘46 was our home in Walla Walla. Our family (including 5 boys) loved this house; we all have very special memories of our time here. After being away for 20 years, we were able to again purchase this charming little house and complete an extensive rehab in the spring/summer of 2016.

We’ve furnished Bungalow ’46 with comfort in mind, and we’ve added personal touches that have special meaning to us. We hope your vacation here will create memories too— and that you’ll be able to come back again soon!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

From the first time we walked into Bungalow '46 back in 1994, we knew this home was something really special. Built in 1946 by a local craftsman, it had a charm that you don't find very often. This little house gave off a vibe that our entire family caught right away and we fell in love. A little splash of arts and crafts, a whole lot of personality ... we knew immediately that this was the house for us!

Eventually we moved to Seattle, WA, but we always knew that if the opportunity presented itself, we wanted to get our little house back someday - so we always kept our eye on it whenever we visited Walla Walla. Recently, the timing was perfect and we bought our house back, and then spent several months doing an extensive rehab.

What you see now is an updated version of the house we adored ... but with all the upgrades and updates that we couldn't afford to do the first time around. We couldn't be happier to own this house again, and we hope you feel the same kind of vibe when you walk in the door that we felt more than 20 years ago!
