Great location, easily accessible by bus from the airport

Pros: great location in walking distance to many of the sights and restaurants, easy access from airport via bus (very close to bus station), early check-in available, coffee and tea provided, good water pressure, hosts readily available for questions and recommendations nearby. FYI's: the apartment suited our needs, was clean and spacious, however, it is not the apartment advertised. We stayed on the 2nd floor and were told by Inez that the they have two rentals with the one represented on the website being on the 3rd floor. Additionally, we did not have heat the first night which was corrected when requested for our second night.

Perfekt für einen Kurz-Trip nach Amsterdam!

Das kleine Apartment liegt sehr schön etwas außerhalb der trubeligen Innenstadt. Von dort sind sowohl die Alt- als auch die Innenstadt fußläufig erreichbar, aber auch die Bahnen (Haltestelle Elandsgracht) ist nicht weit weg. Das Apartment ist klein, aber fein und entspricht genau den Bildern. Check-In und Check-Out waren völlig problemlos (Ankunft nach 22 Uhr) und unkompliziert. Sehr zu empfehlen - perfekt für einen Kurz-Trip nach Amsterdam.

Cozy Clean and Quiet - A Perfect Place

If you book this place you should - its got everything you could want. Location, lovely hosts and all in a quiet loft overlooking the roofs of Amsterdam. There are shops and restaurants used by the locals plus world famous sights and galleries , all within five or ten minutes walk. Andre and Inez were patient and kind with all our touristy questions. I loved climbing the stairs to the loft, and having the workshop on the ground level added to the charm. Stay here if you can!

Die Wohnung ist klein aber sehr gemütlich. Für uns war alles da, was wir brauchten - sogar Kaffee und Tee for free 🙂. Die Vermieter sind nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben einen Hefter mit guten Tipps z. B. für Museen und andere Aktivitäten zusammengestellt. Die Restaurant-Tipps waren auch super. Besonders gut war das kleine holländische Restaurant De Hap - hmmm.

Great Place in West Amsterdam

Small but clean space with everything you need. close walk to tram, Jordaan neighborhood, and lots of good food/shopping. hosts were responsive and helpful with advice of things to do in the neighborhood. Would recommend!

Very Comfortable and Great Location

Andre and Inez are excellent hosts! They responded promptly to questions and communicated clearly throughout the booking process, including providing easy-to-follow directions from the airport. Inez met me at the property with the keys, explained the house rules, described the neighborhood, answered my questions and provided great tips for local places to have breakfast, shop for groceries, etc. The apartment itself was clean and bright, with huge windows, and comfortable beds. To me, an important feature of any rental is a good shower, and this one was excellent, with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Although there is not a full kitchen, there is a coffee maker, teapot, microwave and fridge, enough to make a quick breakfast or snack during the day. The location is also terrific, on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, but within easy walking distance of a grocery and several restaurants. My daughter and I especially enjoyed L'Affice, a small corner bar with a friendly, local clientele. We were also within walking distance or a quick tram ride of many of the major Amsterdam attractions, including Vondelpark, the Museum District, Dam Square and the "ring." Overall, this apartment has everything I look for in a good booking -- great hosts, a clean and comfortable space and perfect location, at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Goodnight Amsterdam, Sweet Dreams!

One million thanks for a great stay with Goodnight Amsterdam and especially for the hospitality shown by Andre and Inez. We cannot say more about the efforts our hosts made to ensure a smoother arrival and effortless stay whike exploring their wonderful city. Before our arrival information about how to travel from the airport to the home along with keys were made available. On day two we were greeted by our host and he answered all of our questions and taught us a little Dutch! Our accommodations were even better than they looked online and we were grateful for the space and the amenities provided. We were provided with independence and privacy but felt Andre and Inez were never too far to get in contact with. The location was excellent close to Ann Frank House, Vondelpark and the Heineken Brewery. We had nearby access to cafe, pubs, restaurants and markets as well. All of this local information was offered to us by out hosts in case we forgot or got turned around while exploring (very typical for the city!) It was such a pleasure staying at Goodnight Amsterdam as well as meeting Andre and Inez and I would recommend this accommodation to any fellow travellers! Very nice,comfortable apartment

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, roomy, very comfortable beds, great shower and bath and a great place to "come home" to after a day out and about in Amsterdam. Andre was such a wonderful host, had a lot of tips about Amsterdam and always responded quickly to any emails. The location was great for walking around Amsterdam, lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Bus to direct to the airport was very close by. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

appartamento carino,noi abbiamo preso quello al primo piano, piccolo ma confortevole, le scale erano ripide ma per il primo piano si potevano fare benissimo, la signora gentile, io non parlando l'inglese non la capivo, sono molto discreti.per il resto posto vicino a leidseplein(2-5 minuti a piedi) ,e circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro. c'era un supermercato vicino.lo consiglio. c'era il frigo,microonde,macchina del caffè americano, vasca,phon, asciugamani, e tutti i confort.

Great Value!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great decision. Location is great, and the apartment is charming and looks exactly like the pictures. Andre was helpful upon our arrival. I feel that the location, cleanliness, safety, and style of the apartment were all excellent for the price we paid, and I would definitely stay here again in the future. As mentioned before, the steps are very steep, which wasn't a problem for us. However, we noted that our parents who are in their 60s probably wouldn't have done well with them. Thanks Andre!

Great spot !

My wife and I spent a quick 2 days in Amsterdam and our stay was wonderful. The location of this apartment was ideal, from getting to/from the airport to being able to walk to all areas of Amsterdam. The place was cute with great light in the bedroom. The stairs up to the apartment were a bit steep, but added a cool dimension to the overall feel. There's a bike rental shop just around the corner and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby - places where the locals go. But you're only a 15 minute walk from all of the great things Amsterdam has to offer, and even quicker if you have a bike (like everyone else in the City). Overall, the place was ideal for our 2 day stay.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed here for three weeks and enjoyed every minute. André and Inez are wonderful hosts, providing lots of written material regarding things to see and do in and out of the city, as well as informative conversations about the area and the culture. The apartment is clean and comfortable (the stairs are a bit daunting at first, but we got used to them) and André was happy to supply anything we needed that wasn't already provided. We appreciated the location, which is in a lively neighborhood and is within walking distance of all of central Amsterdam. We especially enjoyed the Noordermarkt on Saturday mornings and the free concerts at the Concertgebouw on Wednesday afternoons. It was a wonderful vacation, made even more enjoyable by our pleasant living quarters.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable place to stay

We had a great time here. André was very helpful explaining directions, things to do, etc, and provided us with maps and guide books to borrow. Perfect location to walk everywhere, and tram and bus stops are close by for when you're tired of walking. We stayed for three nights and hope to stay again when the opportunity arises!

Great location, clean and well-equipped

We stayed here for 5 nights. This apartment couldn't have been any better. Very clean and well equiped. This apartment is located close to many wonderful places and it was so quiet and comfortable. The rates are SO reasonable. André is totally helpful and informative and we would recommend this to friends and relatives.
