Just a part of the neighborhood.

Great place to enjoy south Florida living in a calm, laid back area. Close to fishing, food, and fun in the water. The neighborhood has access to a community park the overlooks the inlet. The house has a private driveway for guest. It made a great place to stay and study while I was at Chapmans School of Seamanship. Tim and his wife were dreat host.

Great location

Tim and Elba were great hosts. Convenient location for my wife and I. Unit got a little stuffy a couple times for us north westerners as the a/c thermostat is in the main house. Maybe a ceiling fan or portable a/c unit in the living room would help. Otherwise great stay and would book there again.

A perfect holiday stay

My husband and I spent a few weeks at Tim and Elba's property, and we could not have been any happier. First and foremost, Tim and Elba were amazing helpful, kind and informative about the property and things to do in the area. Not only this, they both were easy to speak to in general. The property itself was just as listed. Since we were spending multiple weeks, it was important to us to have an area to cook. The kitchenette offered us the ability to do what we needed which included using the grill outside; we did not have any issues. The living room was open, spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazing and offered us a good nights sleep every night. The bathroom had everything you needed as well. The pictures of the sitting area out front were done to a tee and my husband and I spent a lot of time out there. All and all, we had a great time at Tim and Elba's place and would recommend it to anyone in the future!

We had a wonderful time staying at Tim and Elba’s home.

Everything was perfect and just what we were looking for. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. A great neighborhood that was very walkable with several trails and park close by. We loved it and plan to return in the future.

A great vacation place to stay

The place was very nice, I did not get to take very much advantage of it because I found a place to live a lot quicker than I thought I would so I was only there about a week. out of the four I booked.

Perfect location, beautiful surroundings with the water nearby. Friendly host. Place has the neccessary needs, but a little outdated. You have no control of the thermostat, so room temp is controlled by host. If you need the convenience of the Hobe Sound/Stuart area, this is the place..

Very disappointed

The place was clean and cute. You have no control over the temperature in the unit, at least there is a little oscillating fan you can sit in front of while you wait for them to bless you with A/C. Just because they have it doesn't mean they will have it on. The minifridge doesn't hold much and the freezer wont even keep ice cream frozen. The french doors that opened into their house with the lock on their side did not make this single woman feel very secure. The dog that barks every morning before sunrise just outside those thin French doors doesn't allow for much sleeping in if you are a light sleeper. Laundry every 4th day really means before sunset on thursdays so if you have someplace else you need to be then the laundromat is your fate. It wasn't horrible, but it sure was not relaxing and I was glad to leave.

Wonderful getaway, Wonderful host

This was our first experience with VRBO and it couldn’t have been better! The house was tidy, super clean and an awesome location. If your looking for a great stay in south Florida this is it! Don’t waste your money on a hotel room! The hosts are the best and helped make our stay fantastic.

The location was great! Close to everything, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to parks and marina activity. Unit was small and not very private. Owners were one door away and could hear everything. Small refrigerator and no stove, but hot plate. Owners were very nice and accomidating. TV service was internet based and not reliable. Clean apartment, very affordable, pool was nice. Couch was old and should be replaced.

Adorable Unit

This one bedroom efficiency was well appointed and very clean. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures; very nice. Tim and Alba were very nice and accommodating. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the fact that we were quite warm at times; New Yorkers not adjusted to the heat I suppose. A ceiling fan in the living area would have gone a long way. Otherwise, a great stay. Would highly recommend.

Well maintained , comfortable spot

Elba and Tim were gracious hosts. We were happy and paricularly enjoyed the close location to Twin Riveres Park and Maggy's Hammock Park. The pool shared area was pleasant for morning coffee and a quick dip, even though the air temps were a little cool on a few days.
