Beautiful location, impeccable accommodation and the perfect hosts. I will definitely return.

Colleen and Warren have set up the perfect spot for a couple to unwind and reconnect. I couldn't fault the accommodation or their hospitality. It was truly a pleasure to stay at Villa Medici and I am already looking forward to our next visit. A real hidden gem!

What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. Gorgeous B&B & views, wonderful food & host

Cannot recommend this place enough. Colleen and her husband were wonderful hosts, nothing was a problem. Colleen’s home cooking is delicious and restaurant quality. The B&B is gorgeous and with the plunge pool, jacuzzi, Bali hut and amazing views it was truly a lovely getaway.

Short stay dream

Wonderful hosts. Place was immaculate. Relaxing and nothing missing from a long weekend rest. Close enough to Barrington tops to use for exploring, close enough to Gloucester for coffee shops, lunch’s and dinner. Host was full of local knowledge and helpful in every way. Definitely recommend a stay.

Rural idyll

Exceeded expectations. Quiet, tranquil and stunning views. The food is beyond restaurant quality and every mouthful delicious. Our hosts were wonderful and made us feel very welcome and particularly enjoyed unwinding in the Bali hut taking in the breathtaking views. A wonderful weekend retreat

Warm hospitality and impeccably clean and comfortable!

Colleen and Warren are the warmest hosts, ensuring we had a private and comfortable stay. Everything here has been thoughtfully considered to the finest detail. Breakfast was gourmet quality enjoyed with views to the farm and the resident cows. As hosts they were friendly, accomodating and shared their knowledge about what the Gloucester region has to offer. We cannot fault our stay and highly recommend to others!!

Look no further if you are after something special

We stayed here overnight to break up a longer journey, but wished we'd stayed here longer. Colleen and Warren's hospitality and B&B are second to none. We had the optional eat-in dinner which was amazing, and Colleen was happy to cater for the vegetarian in our party. The property is beautiful and set in a stunning location overlooking a valley with the Barrington Tops as a backdrop. We are already forward to going back in a few months!

Luxury Escape

If you are looking for a perfect place with absolutely everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway this is it.Our hosts Coleen and Warren were amazing.Every morning Coleen and Warren served us the most beautiful goumet breakfast,it was 5 star.Warren made sure our fire was lit each morning and night.The accomodation was perfection with views from every window.We are looking forward to our next visit very soon.

Peaceful retreat

The sweetest couple on earth!!!! There stories, their cooking, their gentle souls made the place even better. We only saw the owners at food service times. The property was absolutely stunning, the home and attention to detail was the peak In quality. Cutest baby calves, peaceful surroundings, spa, plunge pool, fire pit. Cannot recommend enough- stay here you won’t regret it.

Time to recharge the batteries

Colleen and Warren are exceptional hosts. The food was unbelievable! I have been raving to all our friends and family about this hidden gem. Living a busy lifestyle with our three kids it was exactly what we needed, a nice getaway close to Newcastle and the ability to slow down. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary as calm, peaceful and relaxing as possible. We had dinner, dessert and breakfast at Villa Medici, so there was no need to go anywhere. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for having us x.

Relaxing Country Stay

My wife and I spent a relaxing weekend at Colleen's place. Everything from check in, lovely breakfasts, very warm rooms, great in house home cooked dinner through to help with visiting local points of interest were perfect. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous getaway

A beautifully tranquil getaway

This property was extremely well maintained with a relaxed and beautifully tranquil outlook. Located in a rural location facing the Barrington Tops peaks you'll feel completely relaxed. Oh - and breakfast was amazing!

Wonderful B&B

We would just like to say a huge thank you to Colleen and Warren from Villa Medici B&B. We were lucky enough to spend one night there, wish it had of been longer. Warren and Colleen's hospitality was stupendous and they were consummate hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The accomodation was first class and there were numerous added little touches that made this stand out from other places we have stayed. We booked in for dinner and the food was delicious. Our breakfast, included in the price, was also delicious. We would encourage anyone staying in the Gloucester area to look at Villa Medici for your choice of accommodation. We will certainly be back. The Perfect Couples' Retreat!!!

My husband and I left our busy Sydney life and 3 children behind to have some down time to ourselves in the beautiful Barringtops. Being lovers of bush walking Villa Medici was perfectly located at the foot of the Barrington Tops. with the entrance to the property enroute to the National Park. Colleen and Warren went beyond our expectations with a hearty country welcome and warm hospitality all the while ensuring our stay was private. The Villa itself was so very comfortable, tastefully reminisciant of a an Italian/French Villa and immaculately clean!!! All bedding was crisp and white, and bathroom pristine and mod. The Villa is attached to the main house, having its own private entrance, garden, BBQ on the deck, bathroom, and a cosy guest lounge/dinning/kitchenette attached with a fireplace!! But the scenery from the front deck of our Villa over the properties rolling hills and warm weather was too relaxing for drinks time to be indoors! So relaxing bird watching and hearing the sound of 'the bush'. If it wasn't a cloudy evening we would have certainly used the tripod telescope supplied on the deck for some star gazing! Loved having romantic spa with the view to Barrington tops in the back ground. We had planned to go out for dinner however didn't want to forfieght the time at the Villa so returned with takeaway. Only then to discover Colleen and Warren do a two course meal brought to your own dinning room for $20 each!! Next time! We realised what we may have missed out on by not having dinner the night before when breakfast was served the next morning! Breakfast was truely amazing- everything homemade, the heath fruit drink, a French pastry , homemade toasted granola with warm poached plums and yoghurt panacotta, finishing off with poached eggs and smoked salmon, and the offer of real coffee!! Our only disappointment was that the stay was only one night! Thank you Colleen for a truely relaxing stay!

Exemplary hospitality!

We only had the opportunity to stay at Villa Medici for a night but it was a very enjoyable experience. The food, view and accommodation were all amazing. A shame we didn't get the chance to use the hot tub!
