Longstocking Farm accomodation

Stayed there for a work trip to the region for 2 weeks. While it is a short drive into Waikerie and the water, it was a pleasant and easy house to stay in, check-in and out was very smooth, and Kim was very accommodating with any changes we requested.

The house is in a good location with plenty of room. There were 4 adults and two little ones so the two bathrooms/toilets were handy. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing

Very well equipped and perfect for families close to the river private and includes plenty for the kids DVDs games and a toddler drawing table only thing I would say is if it's summer take shade! Such as a gazibo like we did

My daughters and I had a wonderful time exploring the riverland and this rental was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. It was extremely hot when we arrived and Kim had turned on the air conditioning for us which we were very thankful for! The house was clean and tidy the beds were comfortable and it had all we needed. The only things that I personally would have liked would of been a dish washer and some outdoor under cover area but for the price I did not mind at all! I would definitely go back again!

Had a good time at Sunlands. V close to golf club and good base for Ramco Waikerie and cadell area. Caudo winery was a favourite and only 10 min drive. Property well equipped for families with plenty of space to run around. Check in and communication was all positive.

Sunlands Stay

Great property. Perfect for our friends wedding at the golf course. Had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Had a lot of amenities included. My only disappointment was the BBQ. We couldn’t use it. It was all rusty and dirty. Needs replacing. Otherwise a very good house. Extremely family friendly. Thank you for our stay. It was wonderful.

excellence of the accommodation

We booked last three days of school holiday. It was a great location, which is surrounded with orange orchards. The aroma of the orange blossoms makes a unique sense of serenity and tranquillity. It is the best destination for a quick getaway. It is only a couple of hours away from Adelaide and a few minutes' drive from Waikerie. The modern house itself contains everything you need. You don't feel inconvenient at all. It is spotless. The owner Kim is very helpful and friendly. Kim's neighbours Mic , Heather and Stephanie are very kind, friendly and helpful, too. We were very lucky to stay in Kim's holiday house. We will be back.

Absolutely wonderful accommodation. Beautiful presentation, everything available plus more. Very very comfortable and welcoming. We will most certainly be using this accommodation in future trips and sharing details with family and friends. Owners were spectacular to deal with, no hassles or issues with my general enquiries. We have been frequent visitors to the Riverland for many years, enjoying the peace of the place and the friendliness of the local people. Our family has enjoyed countless holidays here and we know you will too.

Longstocking Farm was once a fully irrigated citrus orchard containing over 300 Washington Navel Orange trees and 100 Tangelo trees. The property is now in the process of slowly being converted into a self-sufficient, hobby / lifestyle farm. Having traveled extensively throughout the world, we know all too well how expensive it can be for families and large groups to stay in hotels. We hope that Longstocking Farm gives you an affordable option for staying in the Riverland and a unique opportunity to live like a local whilst staying in the Riverland.

You're still just a 10 minute drive into the township of Waikerie if you need anything. We can sleep up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, which makes it one of the most comfortable properties in the area for large families.
