Cherry Picking in Young

Our trip was to pick cherries for the adventure so finding this apartment within our budget was great. The stairs we needed to climb took a while but once we were in the apartment looking clean and suitable for 3 ladies was excellent. With the weekend to be very hot the main air conditioner worked for us but the main bedroom air con gave way to the heat but we still had fans to manage the nights sleep. The apartment was close enough to the town shops to walk to was great. Rob and Justine were most helpful with their communications with the apartment overall. I would recommend this apartment for anyone. The Cherries were so delicious freshly picked.

Mixed feelings on this one

The unit was lovely, was a nice set up and in a great location within walking distance to the Main Street. The beds where also very comfy and it was convenient having the owner downstairs. However the balcony was filthy, looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages, we ended up having to clean it ourselves. The remote control for the main tv did not work, the fire alarm was beeping and there where cobwebs inside along the windows above the dining table with dead Insects, looked like they only surface cleaned. Also if you are a light sleeper this place is not for you, semi trailers drive by at all hours of the night and a sweeper truck drives down the alley beside the unit every day.

Weekend in Young with friends

Property exactly as described. Great size for 5 adults travelling together. Very close to centre of Young so easy walk to clubs and restaurants. Would definately stay here again when visiting Young again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central location made it easy to get about in the local area.

Would definitely come here again and would recommend to others. Though stairs are steep so need to consider ability of person to manage stairs.

Family get-together in Young

We stayed in Young for a weekend to celebrate a family members birthday. The apartment was very clean with comfy beds, nice kitchen appliances & everything we needed. We dined at the Services Club both nights, as the food was great & it was within walking distance. The apartment has lovely decor with plantation shutters & I would definitely stay again.

Great stay

We loved our accommodation and visit to Young. Located at the top of town with Main Street just around the corner. A walk to lovely cafes and other shops. Clean apartment, modern and big. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Super fast communication with owner.

Gorgeous unit

Well appointed beautiful unit. Great facilities. Lovely and clean. The only downfall is that the front single room faces the road, so lots of truck noise at night.

Great apartment

I highly recommend a visit to Young and to stay at this property. Clean, spacious and well decorated. Great location to pubs, clubs, restaurants, and shopping. Communications with the owner was easy. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The appartment was lovely, the best I’ve stayed in, tastefully decorated and well appointed. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because it was in a business area so there weren’t any close neighbors and as I was traveling alone I was a bit nervous at night.

Property was well presented although we were exceptionally disappointed that the smoke detector battery needed changing so it beeped every 5 minutes for our entire stay. I was also disappointed that there was no one i could contact to have them come and fix the battery...

Luxury and spaciuos for the two of us. Large lounge and couches and bed was really comfortable Big kitchen with good cooking facilities but the electric oven didn't work and the top burners took for ever to warn up. So that was a bit tricky as we were there for 4 days over Easter when shops and cafes were closed
