Thank you for your review, Neil! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the location and had a pleasant stay at Pindara. We are sorry to learn that the mattresses weren’t to your preference. While we haven’t received feedback on this from previous guests, we understand that comfort can be a personal preference. Regarding the cutlery, all items are thoroughly cleaned in the dishwasher, but we sincerely apologise if something was overlooked. We’ll be sure to pay extra attention to this moving forward. Thanks for your review Nikki. The driveway has now been sealed, making for easy access to the house, and being in the country, sadly we do at times get uninvited guests. We have now dealt with this also. Glad you otherwise enjoyed your stay!

Hi Natalya, thanks for taking the time to leave us your feedback. We are a little surprised to receive this not so positive feedback, since your response to our own survey was a healthy 8/10! Unfortunately, we had cause to come back to you over some extra cleaning as a result of your stay - which we never like having to do, because - well - we sometimes end up having to do this! 1. We now know that WIFI was very important to you, as you had planned to do some work during your stay. Had it been available I suspect I would be playing golf right now. It is something we are trying to have made available, but for now its not listed as a facility at the property, just like we dont list it as having a pool either - because there isnt one:) On a more serious note, had you of raised this issue with us during your stay we would have lent you our personal mobile dongle, because thats the sort of thing we do! 2. We do strive to meet everyone’s taste, but thats not always possible. The overwhelming majority of guests at Pindara love the decor and layout , thats why its booked out nearly every weekend. 3. Yes mozzies and flies are known to inhabit Australia! We do keep the kitchen stocked up with fly spray. To be fair there were a lot of mozzies around the time of your stay, due to the amazing rain during February which filled our dams and put the fires out, so we were happy with the extra swatting. 4. We actually focus on our cleaning very much. As per our conversation after your stay, when you mentioned the wrapper under the lounge, I immediately withdrew the extra cleaning charge as a gesture of goodwill, which you overlooked in your feedback below:) While the wrapper is minor, its not to our standard which I did then and do now - apologise for. 5. Im sorry you found our conversation unpleasant, I thought it was constructive. I listened to your concerns, withdrew our extra cleaning fee, apologised for the patchy mobile reception in rural Australia and agreed that the furniture would look out of place in a 5 star hotel! Hopefully your experience doesn’t stop you from coming back to the Hunter Valley

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review Lyn. In response to some of the issues you have raised... we have visited the house and are unable to replicate the problem you have reported about the springs in the bed. After many, many guests we've not had any other comments regarding this but we'll certainly keep an eye on it. The fans and lights have been checked and the fan in the main bathroom is currently not working and the only other issue with lights/fans is the flickering one you did mention. These issues have been logged for repair. There are manuals for the electrical items in the house however we're available at all times during your stay to assist you with any such questions. Please accept our sincere apologies that there was a mouse present in the house. Being in the country, this does happen from time to time however treatment is underway to eradicate the problem.
