Will be back!

The place was absolutely amazing! Great pool and hot tub. The house was super clean and comfortable. We had a great, relaxing time. The neighborhood was perfect and the backyard felt private. The place is huge and the pictures don’t do it justice. We loved the kitchen, the living room couch was super comfortable. The bedrooms and the bathrooms were luxurious. We felt that we were in a nice resort for the week. Can’t wait to come back again!

Excellent!

Truly like your own private resort. The house and backyard are beautiful. Location is fantastic, close to many restaurants and shopping. Easy drive into Tucson. Would highly recommend.

Desert Paradise!

Everything about the house was amazing and exactly as the listing describes. Close enough to "town" to grab a quick bite or shop, but far enough from the city to experience the quietness. Couldn't ask for a better time there. All our questions were answered quickly and received an in person review of the pool, spa, and amenities. Will definitely book here again next time!

Amazing stay

We could not have been happier with our stay. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Along with the amazing landscaping and views, the entire place includes high-end finishes and everything you could possibly ask for in a VRBO. It’s beautifully decorated, super clean, in a very safe area of Tucson, and close to great restaurants. We will definitely be back!

The house was very nice and well stocked. A couple of small problems that occurred were very quickly addressed by the owner's maintenance rep. Shopping, restaurants and numerous golf courses were all nearby. We definitely plan to return!

Spectacular accommodation

Pictures did not do it justice. 2 lovely master suites, chefs kitchen, ample dining and lounging areas, and a resort-like backyard. The finishes are all high end and the views were amazing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a private oasis!

This home with expansive mountain views and beautiful landscaped pool area was delightful.

This home is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen has expansive amazing granite counters and all the accessories any chef could ever want. The home feels like a classic hacienda. It was perfect for us.

Incredible in every way

We stayed at the house for the month of February, and our adult children joined us for 2 weeks. The house is beautifully sited, tastefully and thoroughly appointed, and has a wonderful layout. The way it is sited on a hill, the back yard is completely private and quiet and has an incredible view of the Catalinas. We didn't heat the pool in February but it was lovely to sit by and the entire back yard is lush and beautiful. Just about everything we might or need want was there--it is more like staying at a friend's home than a rental. The owners and property managers were easy to communicate with and very responsive to the few questions we had. WiFi was very good, three of us were working some days with no problem. The location is great, just minutes away from shopping and restaurants. There is lots of golf in the area and a drive up Mount Lemmon is a must-do, as is the family-run restaurant at the top, the Iron Door (get the pie). We also road-tripped to Scottsdale, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon. If you are lucky enough to find this home available, book it!

Wonderful holiday gathering

We had a magnificent stay at your gorgeous home! It was perfect for hosting family holiday meals and gatherings. The division between the 2 master suites was perfect for allowing some privacy. Our essential “go to” vacation home

This exceptionally appointed and, thought-through home provides not only the greatest comforts in duel master suites and spacious bathrooms, bedding, linens, furnishings, and appliances, it also provides exceptionally themed decor and every possible provision for the vacationer. The privacy and views are spectacular. The cleanliness and care for the property is of the highest order. Clear and accessible instructions and information await the traveler. Wonderful view and pool.

Sits atop a hill with great view of Mt Lemmon and valley. Very quiet except for chattering of birds. Pool large and 8 ft deep at one end. Rock waterfall soothing at deep end of pool. Lots of areas for lounging on nice padded patio furniture. Kitchen had every implement needed along with spices and some paper products. No food staples or condiments. Property managers a phone call away and live close by so can arrive promptly. High end appliances and furnishings with a lush yard by Tucson standards. Really enjoyed our stay.

Super getaway!

Enjoyed our stay immensely. The location is perfect for nearby shops but also proximity to hiking and small day trips. The owners were receptive for any questions or concerns and made our stay feel like a home away from home. Would definitely return. :)

Disappointment...

Unfortunately, our stay was badly marred by a broken hot tub and the bizarre nature of subsequent events. When the hot tub was turned on, it drained to a level below the jets and steps and to use it would have required sitting on the floor of the tub enduring jet spray to the face. We requested that this be repaired and events took a dark turn. The pool repairman arrived, stated that he was extremely busy, needed family time and the hot tub was fine. There was no change in its drainage, continued to be unusable. A repeat request for repair was made to the owners specifically asking that the repairman return on an afternoon we had planned to be out golfing. The subsequent afternoon we were lying by the pool in bathing suits assuming privacy when the repairman appeared on the pool deck with us: totally unannounced. He did not respond to a greeting but was deliberately mute, obviously sullen and a mix between laughably childish and weirdly threatening. After his departure and our attempt to use the hot tub again, there was no change in hot tub functionality. The owners were notified of this outrageous behavior and they responded: “ we have complete confidence and trust “ in his service. Add to this the noisy, non-stop sound of a gurgling pool drain when in the outdoor area, which the owners state is the norm for this system. Beware this rental.

Wow

You feel like you don’t have any neighbors because it is so private but you still have city amenities at your finger tips. The view is fantastic. Mountains and it overlooks the city. Plenty of room. Loved it!

Very Comfortale Winter Retreat

My wife and I spent the month of January in this beautiful and comfortable Oro Valley home. The view of the Catalina Mountains from the backyard is spectacular, especially at sunset. The back of the house faces the southeast welcoming us every morning with warm sunshine and sheltered from cool breezes. We elected not to try and heat the pool in January, but it was pleasant to sit by the water while reading. We grilled many evening meals on the built in gas grill on the back porch. Mark, the property manager, lives close by and was very responsive to a couple of minor issues. It is a safe neighborhood for daily walks and there is a city park just north of the house with a coupe of desert trials. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a long term stay. We would definitely consider returning for another winter getaway.

Great house - Recommend!

We stayed for a week and found everything for our stay perfect. The introduction to the house was great, there are many features that would have been missed without the review. Mark was at the house as we arrived on Saturday PM. He took his time and described everything in detail. The area is perfect, Safeway was 3 minutes away, great store. We will return. KJS

Our home base is in the Pacific Northwest where we enjoy the outdoors and boating in the summertime. We have a vacation rental on the island of Kauai where we spend our winter months and love to visit our home in Oro Valley in shoulder seasons. All areas so different, unique and beautiful.

We absolutely love the Tucson area and all it has to offer. Warmth, sunshine, hiking , golf and so much more. Such a great getaway from the winter rains in of the Pacific Northwest.

Our home has two primary suite bedrooms at opposite ends of the house so you have privacy. Our home is not your typical cookie cutter home and unique in the way that it is classic in beautiful Tucson style and decor.
