Nuestra casa del lago está en Glass Lake en Averill Park, Nueva York. En caso de que quiera aventurarse, está cerca de Saratoga (¡perfecto para la temporada de carreras!), Berkshires MA, Albany NY y Vermont. Te encantará nuestro lugar debido a su ubicación justo en Glass Lake. Increíblemente privado con amplias propiedades. Nuestra casa del lago es ideal para familias con niños y parejas, y es completamente amigable para perros y accesible para discapacitados. Es ideal para cualquier estación (hojas, esquí, pesca, natación). Kayaks, canoas, botes de remos ... y el lago !!

Nuestra casa es fabulosa. Un gran lugar para unas vacaciones familiares. A los niños les encanta aquí. Hay tanto que hacer y explorar. Nuestra casa fue construida en 1965 y estaba un poco adelantada a su tiempo en diseño. Definitivamente es un hogar durante todo el año. Puede usarlo como un centro para ver hojas en otoño, esquiar en invierno y, por supuesto, "faltar" en primavera y verano. Un pedacito de paraíso. ¡La casa también está en buen estado! Disfrute de la chimenea de arriba, pero asegúrese de que la chimenea esté ABIERTA.

Nuestra casa está a 10 minutos del esquí de fondo local, a solo 25 minutos de Jiminy Peak en MA y a menos de una hora de Bennington, VT. Excelente ubicación para acceder a otros puntos de interés.

Tendrás toda la casa para tu visita. También otorgamos acceso a nuestros vecinos al lago, pero no los verá mucho. Podrían bajar de sus propias casas para saltar en sus botes y salir al lago.

Tanto Zach como Julie (el cuidador de nuestra casa) serán completamente accesibles durante su estadía.

Amazing Place!

This was the perfect spot for our family Father's Day weekend. The kitchen was perfect for cooking large meals and the lake activities kept everyone happy. The location is not too far from shopping.

Beautiful location, comfortable stay

The view is gorgeous and the house is comfortable for hanging out in all day in cold weather. The kitchen was huge and it occommodated our thanksgiving dinner cooking.

Great Lake Front

Beautiful fall weekend

Our children and grandchildren joined us at the house for the weekend. We were in the area for a wedding. The property has so much to offer for everyone. It is very accommodating for our large group and it is really quiet.

Lovely Lake and Views

Perfect place for family to be together and separate! Gorgeous views of the lake, great lawn, fun toys, lots of boats. Even with the wild fires keeping us inside for half of our stay, the space and the view kept us happy. Everything in the kitchen a CIA trained chef could desire.

Great, private location, well stocked home

My husband and I choose this rental because it was centrally located in between our children and provided enough beds and a private lake in the backyard!! The house was very well stocked and clean! The lake offered boating, fishing, birding and relaxing!! Thank you so much!!

Home Away From Home

This was our third year staying at the house and we have already reserved for 2024! It was unanimous! I believe that says how much we love staying here! University at Albany graduation

We stayed at this property to attend graduation. It was a 30 minute drive to campus. The location allowed us to have extended family and friends join us to celebrate after the ceremonies. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The yard is large and beautiful. And the lake view is spectacular! The owners were easy to work with and extremely responsive.

Wedding

My daughters wedding was an out of town Albany wedding for all of us. I booked this location for the number of people we could accommodate as I had the bride and bridesmaid for the night before the wedding! It was fantastic plenty of room beautiful location for photos I couldn’t ask for a better location! Zach was very accommodating! I highly recommend this location for a quiet get away for a group or family gathering! Lake views are incredible!

Love on the Lake!

Since this has been our fourth stay it’s hard to think of something we have not said already! We love this house and location. Every morning to wake up and have coffee and watch sun rise over the lake and watch the view change depending on weather is awesome. We are close to family in the area and the house is very comfortable with lots of amenities. Zach is an excellent host. He quickly responds and is always nice to communicate with. Also would like to say thanks to Julie too! We love our time on the lake and always look forward to our next visit!

Wonderful!

This is our second family vacation at Zac's Lake House. This is such a wonderful family home on a beautiful and peaceful lake.The house is comfortable for a large group and is immaculately clean. Every amenity that you need is provided by the host from boats and life jackets, to board games and books. The kitchen modern and fully stocked with all types of cookware. There are beautiful views of the house from the house and deck. Zac is a great communicator and always quick to answer any questions. We highly recommend vacationing at this home and would love to return!

Family Gathering

The owner was quick to communicate and easy to work with. The house was quirky, but met our needs well. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Only downside to the house was that the only bathroom on the main level is in the master, so if that person is sleeping, everyone has to use the downstairs bathroom. Obviously not something that can be fixed, but could be difficult for those with issues with stairs.

Great 40th bday ski weekend getaway! Great for families too!

We recently stayed at this property to ski at Jiminy & celebrate a 40th birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for and the house was perfect! We slept 10 adults with room for more if we had wanted (kids-free weekend, but they would have loved it too!) The house was stocked with everything we needed-we just brought the food and wine-even prepared a full bbq steak dinner easily. The ride to Jiminy was 25 minutes and "easy-peasy". Plenty of room for post-ski rexlaxing, thought we really spent most of our time sitting around the kitchen island, cooking together and enjoying the view. Zach and Wendy were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with while planning our stay and arrival. Would love to go back!

Terrific Family Vacation

Our group consisted of grandchildren, children, and grandparents. Everyone had a blast! Our youngest was excited to catch sunnies off the dock, all the kids toured along the lake in the kayaks provided, grandparents toured the lake in the canoe. The yard was flat and spacious for the traditional wiffle ball game. The home kitchen area had everything we could need for our stay. The interior was spacious enough for all ages to enjoy their “own space” given our different in age groups, yet all be together as a family. Our host was really great to deal with in every way and we will be returning to this property again creating fond family memories. Thank You Zach

Wonderful Family Getaway on Glass Lake!

We had a wonderful stay at Zach's place on Glass Lake! We were looking for a peaceful lakefront location with lake views, good water access, and comfortable accommodations, where we could gather with our adult children and their spouses for our annual family getaway. Zach's place provided all of these features and so much more. It is such a warm and peaceful setting, with comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces to gather as a family. The kitchen was incredible. So spacious and fun to cook in. The house was well stocked with everything that you need for your vacation, including many thoughtful extras such as books, board games, boats and life jackets, firewood for the wood burning fireplace, and so much more. Communication with Zach was great and he was pleasure to work with. This home far exceeded our expectations and we hope to return next year!
