Kas "op de Maze" es una villa con hermosas vistas sobre el océano con su propio acceso directo a la bahía privada del Mar Caribe.
Con hermosas puestas de sol desde las terrazas y una hermosa vista al horizonte de Bonaire.
Lugar de buceo "faro punto" # 40) en frente de la casa.

Esta villa de lujo cuenta con una gran terraza frente al mar con tumbonas y una zona de comedor al aire libre, ideal para relajarse bajo el sol con una bebida fría. También hay una gran glorieta con mesa de comedor, con hamacas, hermosa vista al mar. Fácil acceso al mar para submarinistas, buceadores y nadadores.

Hay actividades acuáticas en Bonaire, Serveral como buceo, snorkeling, pesca, windsurf, kitesurf y kayak, o visitar las playas cercanas. Esta villa también está convenientemente situado a sólo 10 minutos de las tiendas, galerías y varios restaurantes de la ciudad de Kralendijk.

Centrally located, on the water, accommodates large parties, well stocked kitchen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home and apartment were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The host and property manager were easy to communicate with and helpful. We hope to stay at this property again in the future.

fabulous stay

Our family and friends total of 9 stayed at this beautiful ocean front villa, we also rented the apartment on the property. The property is exactly as shown in pictures, but with more details and comfort than even expected. It is a paradise for divers and snorkelers. Swim and dive off your own villa is such a bonus. Beautiful sunset every evening. There are water toys we used to float on the ocean, the kitchen included coffee, tea, and some fresh supplies upon arrival. Plenty of towels and beach towels for our party, also some sunscreen available. Very happy with the location and with Monique the owner, Berry the property manager who met with us. Both are very accommodating. There are 3-4 large grocery stores about 10 min drive in town, supplies are abundant, we were able to find everything in the store. Thank you Monique and Berry for being so accommodating. We will come again!

Steps away from the ocean, great snorkeling & sunsets

We had a wonderful time. Marion & Berry were there to greet us at the airport and had some things ready in the fridge for us. The pictures are spot on in the listing. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio for coffee in the morning and having the ocean so close. We snorkeled a lot and right in front of the house has plenty to see. Sunset from the sundeck is amazing.House is close to everything you will need. If you want to go out, two nice places are within walking distance. Grocery is close, as is the airport. Air traffic is not an issue and won't bother you at all.The island has plenty to do and the snorkeling is amazing!The owner was quick to respond and helpful with information.

This house is so beautiful

Everything about this house was fantastic. We loved it. It was a great location, too. It is at Chez Hines dive site and it was bursting with underwater beauty. The only issue was with the booking and not being able to stay at this property the whole time we needed and no help in getting an extra night somewhere that would have been comparable. And while we were there the toilet was making noise. We felt like it needed a plunger and we reached out to get someone to the house but they never got back in touch with me on that. But they did get back with us immediately on the first evening with the air conditioning.

The absolute most amazing place I have ever stayed!

My husband and two children and I stayed here for the Christmas holidays and we absolutely did not want to leave and try to extend our stay. The villa is way beyond what it looks like in the pictures and even when we weren’t snorkeling right out the back we could sit and listen to the waves. It is truly the most magnificent place you will ever stay and well worth the cost. The villa itself is extremely well put together, the kitchen has everything you would need, there’s plenty of closet, space, and tons of outdoor seating in different areas, including a hammock and an outdoor picnic area right by the water.The host was incredibly responsive to all of my messages And the local property manager was absolutely lovely.If you’re contemplating staying at this villa and aren’t quite sure, I would say book it in an instant, and you won’t regret it at all

Simply put, it is Paradise.

We can't imagine a better paradise for our relaxing dive trip! We stayed almost two weeks and the weather and water conditions were consistently perfect. The accomodations were clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed most of our meals at the villa and seldom ate out. There are so many great books to sit and enjoy a meal or a book whether you want the sun or shade. There is a beautiful sunset to be enjoyed from the back of the villa each day. The diving at Chez Hines right out the back of the villa is pristine with a 100' wall. If you dive to about 35' at night, you can find octopus or hunt with the tarpon, which is very exciting. Adding to the experience are two very tame iguanas who make an appearance any time they think you have something yummy. Or that your toes look yummy. I enjoyed feeding them each day and I'll miss their little faces. 10/10 trip. We will be back and we can't wait!

The home and location are magnificent.

The descriptions and photos don't do justice to the home or location. The house and guest accommodations are very spacious and comfortable. Having direct and easy access to the Carribean Sea made snorkeling and scuba from the property a daily and sometimes multiple daily occurrence. Besides seeing a couple of rays, turtles, octopus and huge variety of fish, we encountered a "bait ball". This massive ball of tightly swimming fish was a once in a lifetime event for us. The property owner and her managers were very attentive and a pleasure to have encountered. When we return to Bonaire early next year we will likely contact Monique first to see what properties she has available to meet our needs. The overall experience was great, and we can't wait to return.

Won’t be easy to beat this one

Our 6th visit to Bonaire and this was definitely the best location we’ve stayed. Perfect for divers with its own easy access to the sea and for people who simply like privacy, peace and the beautiful ocean view.

Amazing place!

We stayed here for a birthday and anniversary celebration. The place was better than the photos. We were able to dive right off the property which was nice and the new dive gear rinse tank made it convenient after all our dives. We saw several 5-6 foot tarpon every evening in the grotto. Property owner and property manager made our stay especially nice. Will definitely recommend Op De Maze and already looking forward in going back. Thanks again!

Fantastic oceanview villa in Bonaire

We, a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys, stayed in the villa for a week. Both in and outdoor, the house has plenty of space. It has a well equipped kitchen, has AC in all bedrooms and plenty of fans. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood 5 min away from the airport. Overall, a high quality stay on Bonaire. Would love to come back one day.

Stay at Op de Maze

We had an amazing time, the house made for an exceptional visit! Loved the setting and the quiet start and end to all the days, one of the best places we've ever rented and would love to return when possible. Everything was well supplied and maintained and the managers were always available and very willing to help with any questions. Swimming was great right off the patio and the sound of the breaking waves will stay with us for a while. Highly recommended property!

Fantastic location and exceptional house

This property is located central to the entire island, and very private. We were in Bonaire for the wind sports and it did not disappoint. The kitchen is ideal, very well equipped. All spices and basics were in drawer. There were many sitting areas in the shade and sun as well. Ocean access and snorkeling right from deck. We were greeted at the airport and driven to the house and given brief tour. The fridge was stocked with drinks and wine and items to make a late lunch. Exceptional customer service. Thank you.

More than we could have asked for!

We had a group of 10, 5 adult couples. The trip was perfect and the house/property helped it be so. Everything was wonderful! The rooms were great, the kitchen was easy to use, the living spaces were wonderful, and the outdoor area was PERFECT! The access to nearby dive shops and locations was perfect! We were greeted upon arrival and had snacks and drinks ready for us at the house. They even left me a birthday card and champagne for my birthday. We can’t wait to visit again.

Stunning house!!

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful house and the whole experience was wonderful! We were looked after on our arrival at the airport and a hire car was there too! The house is in a quiet area, but you can walk to a small supermarket and a couple of restaurants. You need a hire car to get around. The view from the house is so pretty. The sounds of the waves and birds, the visit of 2 iguanas most days and we also saw a pod of dolphins swimming past one morning!! The island is not too big, so it's easy to go snorkeling or diving at different places every day. A swim in the sea in front of the house is very easy and nice. Snorkeling too! All the furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen is modern, practical and well equipped! I could live in this house and if I go back to Bonaire, I would pick it again. If you are lucky enough to find this house available for your holiday, grab it quickly because you won't find anything better! Thanks to Monique for everything and for answering all the questions that I had beforehand. And goodbye to all the fish and the coral for now ....

Great Dive Vacation

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house and grounds are beautiful and very relaxing. The access to the ocean and the view from the back yard and the back deck was like something out of a movie. We enjoyed the amazing sunsets and the beautiful water. The location is great, only a few minutes drive from town but still provided a very secluded feeling because of the way the property is arranged. Monique was great and very responsive and the property management group was also very helpful and kind. We liked everything about this property and our trip to Bonaire and hope to return to this property on a future vacation!

Eindeloze horizon

Wat een heerlijk plekje op Bonaire! We hebben genoten van een fantastische week relaxen, duiken en snorkelen in en om het huis. Na met veel enthousiasme onthaald te zijn op het vliegveld door Berry en Marion verliep de trip naar het huis soepel en stond er zelfs al een ontbijt en wat lekkers klaar voor de avond. De rest van de week zijn we eigenlijk niet ver weg geweest want het was heerlijk vertoeven met een prachtig uitzicht en de golven van de zee op de achtergrond. De foto's geven alles prima weer en voldeed allemaal aan de (hoge) verwachtingen. We komen graag een keer terug!!

Great 10 days at Ope De Mar!

Had a great time with friends in family here! The house was very clean and well appointed. Monique was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. She is a lovely person and took the time to meet us in person at the house. Berry and Marion were also most helpful....rescued us when my parents were unable to open the room safe (with their meds in it)! The water in front of the house is spectacular! Great visibility and snorkeling! Was a little tricky getting in and out of the water at times. Would have helped to have additional rails to hang onto when the swells were stronger. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets! The seafood on the island wasn't as plentiful as we had expected. Did really enjoy La Casita in town. Had the best selection of fresh fish. Also Juliann's Cafe had a great fish sandwich and a really nice owner. Unfortunately we were not able to find the fishermen who would sell their fresh catch. This is an amazing place to stay and great island to explore! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Family vacation

We rented both the villa and the apartment. We got picked up at the airport by Marion and there was a very appreciated welcome package with food and drinks waiting for us. The kitchen is well stocked, air conditioning in the bedrooms and fans in the living area. We spend most of our time outside. The garden is beautiful with many different seating areas. We loved the circle deck above the sea. We started and ended our days above the water. Getting out of the water was a bit difficult the first time but as soon as you got the hang of it it's not a problem. Monique (owner) is very easy to communicate with. Quick responses. She was very flexible with the check in and check out times. We arrived in Bonaire on Friday and since the villa was not booked the week before us Monique told us we could check in Friday. My mom (who is 85) said she had never stayed at such a beautiful location. We all agreed. It was perfect. The managers Berry and Marion are very helpful too. We worked mostly with Marion. They all made us feel very welcome. I can absolutely recommend this place.

Villa sensitively a tastefully furnishd and decorted with a sense fordetail

Right at the entrance we felt that the owners have a high aesthetic sence. The villa looks airy but cozy and is perfectly furnished and equipped. The garden is amazing. A special entrance to the sea is perfect. We, as divers, appreciated this advantage to be at the diving lighthouse. Special thanks belongs to Berry and his wife for their assistance. We can say that we were more than satisfied with the villa and with our holiday in Bonaire and we recommend to everyone to try it. Vlasta & Jiri

A Diver's Paradise!

5 girls, myself included, recently stayed at this lovely villa to celebrate both a divorce and a called-off wedding! It was the perfect place for us to relax, forget our troubles, and revive our spirits in the ocean! The dive-access is unbeatable - you literally gear up in the back and jump right in! A short surface swim will bring you to the Chez Hines dive-site (bouy at the surface), a lovely wall-dive with tons of life. Don't forget to do a night-dive too, where you'll enjoy the beauty of bioluminescence if you turn your lights off! We enjoyed a 10% discount with Dive Friends Bonaire (just down the street) by staying in this villa, and their drive-through tank-exchange is amazingly convenient! The location is great, as it is super close to some of the best sites (including Salt Pier and Alice in Wonderland) on the island, and is also a quick 5 minute drive to the airport. Be sure to dine at Brass Boers, a 5 minute walk down the street, for a 3-michelin star dining experience out of this world! The home itself was comfortable for all - A/C in all the bedrooms (for those who need it), and heavy-duty fans in all the common areas. The kitchen was stocked fully, including a nice welcome package of food and beverages, and plenty of glass and silverware for large groups. The toaster was faulty (nearly caught fire the first time we used it), but after letting Martin know, it was replaced within a day. Speaking of Martin, he covered for Berry who was out of town, but did a wonderful job. He was super communicative, friendly, and just a great person all around! Literally the only negative thing any of us could say about the place is that it might be time for the owners to replace some of the bathroom towels. They're a bit old, and some had a musty/B.O. smell attached to them. Maybe a quick wash in baking soda and vinegar is all it takes to freshen them up a bit! Overall, we would HIGHLY recommend staying here, and are already planning our return trip now!

Lovely place and a wonderful view

It’s clean and everything is there! You can just dive into the ocean and go snorkeling between the fishes. It’s quiet and a lot of places to sit outside in the sun or on the porch with a blower above your head. We saw dolfins swimming early in the morning!! The sport above the water is really nice when the sun goes down, drink an Amstel Bright and enjoy this beautiful moment.

Fabulous location! Outstanding house!

This property was amazing! We went to Bonaire for a one week scuba diving trip with our three children. We took 14 dives and the three best dives were right off the beautiful stone steps of this house! In between and after dives, we loved sunbathing on the stone deck jutting out over the Caribbean Sea and reading under one of the many shaded spots outside. Most afternoons around 4pm we were treated to a show by a pod of dolphins! We had lunch and breakfast at home most days and even a couple of dinners. The kitchen had everything needed - it was really well provisioned! But when we wanted to go out we didn't have far to drive. Plus beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked perfectly, and everything was neat and tidy. The property feels like you are inside a great walled fortress - safe, private and quiet. Monique, the owner, was great to work with and the Caretakers, Berry and Marion, were perfect too! If you have the opportunity, book Op de Maze for your next trip to Bonaire!

Amazing Property! I would go back in a heartbeat!

This property is amazing! The pictures shown are accurate and show the property well. It is beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The owner, Monique and the property managers were very easy to work with and were always responsive to my questions. Very helpful! Not only that, but they were able to work around our group members' varied schedules. We really appreciated their flexibility. We had 9 of us in our group (made up of both adults and children); we were all quite comfortable. There was a basket of goodies waiting on the counter and in the fridge when we arrived. This was most helpful as we did not have to go to the store right away! Although we had a vehicle we had rented, Barry was willing to pick us up from the airport. The property is on the water and the "House Reef" is beautiful! The home is convenient to the airport and anything else with a short drive. If we go to Bonaire in the future, I will not hesitate staying here again. It is perfect!

Meanwhile, it has been 22 years since we became acquainted with the beautiful island of Bonaire. We soon fell in love with the island, that we did not buy this villa much later. Over the years we met a Dutch couple living in Bonaire. They arrange for us the rental of the villa. They provide services that are so characteristic of a carefree holiday.
