ESCAPE AL PAÍS EN EL RETIRO DE RÍO HUNTER.
Deja la ciudad atrás y relájate en la terraza de tu propia casa de campo, tal vez bebiendo una copa de buen vino de Hunter Valley y no hagas nada más que absorber la serenidad y las impresionantes vistas que te rodean en el pintoresco refugio del río Hunter. Si estás buscando un alojamiento Australiana pura en la parte baja del Valle Hunter con techo de hierro, casas de cedro, la fauna y el aislamiento de otras casas de campo, este es el lugar para usted. Situado a 10 minutos de Maitland en la parte baja del Valle Hunter, este refugio rural rústico ofrece un alojamiento privado y tiene bodegas boutique cerca y la principal Hunter Valley Bodegas 25 minutos.

Tenemos una piscina de natación y la pesca en el río Hunter y caminatas en los 110 acres.

Full Day Bus visitas a las bodegas también se puede organizar que recogiese en el Retiro - se pueden degustar y no preocuparse de conducir.


Cedar Cottage es una casa privada totalmente autónomo con un spa con jacuzzi en la cubierta. Tiene dos dormitorios, con una reina en un dormitorio y 2 individuales y un conjunto de literas (2 individuales) en el segundo dormitorio. Las fantásticas vistas del valle y el río Hunter.

Cedar Cottage es de $ 600 para 2 personas para el fin de semana (2 noches).

Mínima de 2 noches estancia exigen.

The stay at cedar cottage was sensational, amazing views, awesome animals and the cottage was beautiful and clean. The hosts were amazing and super friendly, we definitely will be back.

Birthday weekend

Absolutely amazing weekend away at the hunter river retreat. Exceeded all of our expectations and Troy and Eloise were always available to answer any questions. The true highlight was not just the cottage but having the animals around us. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely

A simply gorgeous spot with a beautiful view. The spa bath on the deck is a fantastic way to unwind. Cute, rustic cabin surrounded by both domestic animals and wildlife which is nice. Lots of nice little touches in the cabin to make it feel homely. Eloise is an excellent host who is easy to communicate with and replies to messages promptly.

Scenic getaway

The pictures on the website hardly do justice to the real experience. The location is fabulous, so scenic and secluded at the same time. The hosts are friendly and there are adequate instructors in and around the property. The cabin is rustic, but beautiful, just what you’d want for a stay of this nature. The spa is great and amazing for relaxing after a winery tour. The only problem was that our stay got over too soon !! Highly recommend this place

Perfect girls weekend

This was a perfect spot for a girls' getaway weekend (though we left trying to figure out if we could come back with the kids sometime too as they also would have loved it). We loved the casual animals around the property and the jacuzzi on the deck. Overall a great place to just settle in with some wine and cheese. The long steep driveway up from the street was damaged when we came so a little scary in my small car but all good in the end and they were fixing it as we left anyway.

The view is outstanding

The view is absolutely amazing. That, plus the animals that you can see and touch at your doorstep. If you like cooking, bring your own frying pan though, the one at the cabin was about 100 years old. The jacuzzi is great. There’s only a small couch so not everyone can lounge at the same time but we were out most of the time so it wasn’t a problem. Did I mention the view? AMAZING

Just the perfect getaway!

An easy 2 hour drive from Sydney and you find yourself on this amazing property. A lovely cottage (Cedar) nestled in a beautiful setting and to-die-for views. Friendly animals close by that you can feed if inclined. I found out you just can't have enough carrots!! In and out of the jacuzzi all day and life was pretty good.
