Wonderful place to stay!

A great place to stay while exploring Santa Fe. The condo is roomy, well-stocked, and very comfortable. Big fluffy bath towels. Very nicely decorated. It was the perfect place for our visit.

Very nice clean condo

We stayed here for 4 days after Christmas and enjoyed our stay. It’s on the second floor with a nice wood burning fireplace that is great during winter.

Great Location, helpful owner, nice stay

Although we had trouble getting the Wi-fi authenticated, I was very impressed with the owners perseverance in getting the issue resolved. Everything worked as advertised and I look forward to returning on our next trip to Santa Fe.

A Delightful Place To Stay

We have been visiting Santa Fe in both the summer and winter for many years. This condo was a perfect place for us. Close enough to walk to most restaurants as well as the plaza. The decor is traditional Santa Fe with a Kiva fireplace and ceiling beams. We have already booked for next year.

Great condo in Santa Fe

This condo was perfect for our 2 month stay in Santa Fe. The location provided easy access to downtown and all the historic and cultural sites as well as easy access to the highway for day trips in the area. The communication with the host was excellent. He always responded quickly and check-in was easy. He even provided short videos about different features in the condo (like how to operate the remotes), which was brilliant and very helpful--we wish all hosts would do the same! The condo was spotlessly clean and all the furniture ( including the new bed and bedding) were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the appliances (including the water heater) worked perfectly. The balcony had good seating for enjoying the view and parking was always easy and available. Restaurants and grocery stores were nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back again.

A lot of hidden issues

I can’t recommend this stay. The host is nice enough but out of touch. Asked me to check his mail for the duration of my visit (appx 2 months). Judging by the volume of his mail, he didn’t both forwarding it to his other address. It filled a shopping bag. The place looks nice in picture and is nicely decorated…but A LOT of items need repair. Disposal was leaking water under the kitchen sink; washing machine smelled like sewage and had gunk build up (looked like mildew/mold), which was on my clean clothes every time I took them out of the wash; some of the window shades were stained, didn’t work, or were a pain to raise and lower; there were gaps in the vinyl plank flooring that exposed sharp metal from the subfloor (careful walking barefoot, ouch!); cracked kitchen tile flooring; holes in drywall; flickering overhead lights. On a positive note, the neighbors were friendly, and the location is a quick drive to downtown (but not walkable to the attractions). More on the downside: plan on hearing your neighbors’ conversations and their comings and goings, all hours of the day and night. The walls and floors are super thin and the condo is noisy.

Review of 30 day stay

We found this condo to be well cared for. There is much attention to detail which helped improve our experience during our stay. The furnishing, wall decorations and ornament are well thought out and well placed. There is a large front balcony that tends to be very noisy from a busy road intersection nearby. We could not see the ski basin or city lights due to trees. The kitchen was well supplied and all appliances, except the microwave, worked well. The microwave is dated and seemed weak in power. The tile floor in the kitchen needs immediate repair as many are cracked and showing sharp edges. The bathroom appeared newly renovated and the shower was very nice providing both a wall mount and hand held shower heads. The washer and dryer were great!! They are stacked yet full size with lots of bells and whistles. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive during our entire stay with check in/out being very easy. During our stay the upstairs resident moved in which resulted in much noise on our ceilings for about 2 weeks. The noise finally reduced later in our stay but we did notice the walls and ceilings are thin allowing us to hear other condo occupants nearby. The front door has an additional full size screen door which in combination to screened windows allowed a nice flow of air throughout the condo.The condo also provided easy access to the center of Santa Fe and to the great many hiking trails we enjoyed.

Fine rental

Communication with owner was excellent. Check-in and out were very easy. Spaces were very clean and fine for our short stay. A few small things that could have been better: bedrooms were small with barn doors that were heavy and awkward to close, beds were squeaky, and DirectTV lost reception and cut out at climax of movie.

Great place to stay in Sante Fe

We recently stayed at this condo in Sante Fe and we really enjoyed the home. It was located very close to the square in Sante Fe with easy access to the parts of Sante Fe you really want to see. The condo itself was very nice with plenty of room and the neighborhood was great. The owner was very nice and responsive to our requests for information, including going out of his way to help arrange for some prints we purchased and left at the condo to be shipped to us. We will look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Sante Fe. Gary and Dana.

Just Right

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay in Santa Fe. The condo was just right for us. It was clean, well maintained and well located. It was easy to find, to enter and to check out. It had everything we need and everything work. My wife loved the quiet breezes on the balcony. balcony. Mike, the owner is very responsive and helpful. This may sound silly to those under 55, but thank you for having a single tv remote that works on the first try. Can't tell you how many 3 and 4 remote setups we have encountered that do not work and defy any instructions.

Beauty inside and out along with comfort and convenience

Very charming , clean and comfortable. Felt spacious. Artistic and tastefully decorated in southwest style. Enjoyed the lovely pieces of art. Easy access. Very few steps to the second floor. Apt.right off stairway. Very close to quality grocery shopping. Ten minutes to Santa Fe Plaza. Kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, loads of quality pots and pans and two sets of dishes and condiments. Even had a hand lemon squeezer for my morning lemon and water drink. I would love to know where to buy one like it. We had our local family for meals. Appreciated the washer /dryer and ability to dry clothes outdoors and sit on the porch. Slept like a baby on the wonderful mattress in master bedroom. Lots of closet space. The only downside to our entire experience was the mattress in the second bedroom where our guests slept which was so soft they rolled toward the middle. If it were replaced, I would rate our experience 5+ stars. Appreciated the availability of the owner who always answered our calls and was congenial. I would definitely recommend this condo and would return again.

Very happy with our choice

We enjoyed the condo very much. Good space for our family of four adults. Location was very good. Quiet and relaxing. Plenty of kitchenware for whatever your planning to cook (I didn't cook anything, it was my vacation too). Towels were nice and fluffy and there was an abundance of them. We were in Santa Fe to ski and the condo was only 2 miles from the South Capital Rail Runner bus stop, the first stop for the RTD Blue Bus that will take you to Ski Santa Fe. Being at the first stop is REALLY important on a busy ski day. Mike's directions and instructions were super simple and spot on.

I purchased this condo because I love Santa Fe and the Northern NM area. This unit is near downtown and central but also very clean, comfortable, quiet, and private. I really enjoy sitting on the covered balcony at the end of day.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I enjoy the privacy, being close to town but not in the middle of it. The kiva fireplace layout feels very cozy to me. Being an 'end-unit', this condo has an extra picture window that most other condos at Cielo Grande do not have, overlooking the courtyard to bring in more daylight.
