Hidden Valley Retreat Cottages está convenientemente cerca de Sydney sin embargo, que no podía sentirse más alejado del ajetreo de la vida diaria una vez que llegue. Ubicado en 40 acres de tierra prístina cerca de Kurrajong, Hawkesbury en la zona, que se encuentran escondidos en las estribaciones de las Montañas Azules. Este es el lugar perfecto para todos aquellos que buscan relajarse en la paz y la tranquilidad de la selva, escuchando a los pájaros y el agua corriente del arroyo. Tome un paseo para disfrutar de la belleza natural de la naturaleza, vegetación que abunda, sip vino fino recogido en los viajes de su día en el valle o sentarse junto a la chimenea escuchando su música favorita; hacer tanto o tan poco como desee.

LA CASA DE CAMPO:
Jacaranda Cottage, el nombre de los árboles de sombra Jacaranda al lado de él, es una típica cabaña de estilo de colonos con dos habitaciones (una de matrimonio y una individual). Ropa de cama y toallas y las camas tienen mantas eléctricas. Hay una zona de cocina básica y barbacoa privada para atender a las comidas simples. La casa cuenta con chimenea y aire acondicionado / calefacción, así como un doble baño con chorros. Mirando hacia fuera de su terraza se puede ver y escuchar a los pájaros en los árboles y sentir la calma del estanque alimentado por un manantial.

LA PROPIEDAD:
Jacaranda Cottage es uno de los cinco cabinas aisladas, privadas, autónomas rústicos, cada uno en su propia área separada del bosque en la propiedad. Están disponibles individualmente o como un grupo de hasta 24 personas. Una pista de tenis está disponible para su uso por la colina en la casa principal.
Se admiten animales por encargo.

MONUMENTOS:
Las atracciones cercanas incluyen los jardines botánicos de Mt Tomah, pintoresco pueblo Kurrajong, los mercados de Richmond y el histórico Windsor todos dentro de 10 a 30 minutos en coche y bien merece una visita. En nuestra puerta hay dos Parques Nacionales Patrimonio Mundial, las Montañas Azules y el Wollomi, por no mencionar el río Grose ideal para un rápido baño, o el poderoso río Hawkesbury para más.

Peaceful haven

Situated in a hidden valley it is a peaceful place with lovely trees and birds. The property is a great well maintained slab hut with modern facilities. We loved it and will return.

Great place!

We had an absolute great time in the cottage, it had everything we needed. Closeby a great and steep walk (not for small kids), to a desolate swimming place. Just perfect for our family christmas! Perfect communication with the host.

A retreat

So much space for our puppy, and the stream was lovely to swim in. Such a beautiful property and we felt all alone which we love. We barbecued, swam and relaxed totally. A real retreat. Thank you so much Fiona.

A fabulous getaway cottage

Fabulous rustic cottage with thoughtful inclusions; I don’t want to go into specifics and ruin the surprise for when you get there. So close to Sydney but you feel a world away.

I would highly recommend this spot if you are seeking some rest and tranquillity..the jacaranda tree in immediate view was captivating .the old rustic log cabin feel of cottage was warming and had all needed amenities. Being able to take our dog Moby to share the experience made it even more special. I will definately return to the property, it was so nice to b hidden in nature.

Good getaway

The place and location was fantastic. Lovely place, however there was only a little issue the spa bath never worked, which was a little bit disappointing. But overall it was a great place.

We took a look and unfortunately it had been switched off at the powerpoint (which is not obvious unless you know the cottage, and also a little confusing to us). Sorry we weren't aware of this to be able to rectify the issue while you were staying. Hopefully you were still able to enjoy a relaxing soak.

A slice of tranquility.

Beautiful private haven. As soon as the cottage appeared the feeling of serenity set in. Holidays usually take a day or too to unwind but the inner peace was immediate. Karen (the hardworking caretaker) was such a lovely lady and meeting her and willow (her furbaby) was an added bonus. was an added bonus had with mine.

Lovely cottage getaway from the city!

We had the loveliest weekend at Jacaranda Cottage with our dog. Even though it was pouring rain the whole time, we loved having an excuse to stay inside all day, doing puzzles, enjoying the fire, and cooking cozy meals. Our dog loved being able to run around the big grassy area and we had fun exploring the property during breaks in the rain. We wanted a weekend away from the big city and this definitely fit the bill - no phone service or wifi made that all the better. Playing our 2 op shop DVDs in the tiny TV helped too. Thanks to Fiona for the great instructions and local suggestions as well as providing 2 big tubs of firewood and firestarters etc. We will definitely come back for a stay again :)

A GEM OF PLACE TO UNWIND & RELAX

Jacaranda Cottage is a beautifully presented little abode in a quiet and stunning area of Grose Vale. The Host provided just about everything we needed for our weekend away including the wood for our outdoor fire. All instructions and advice provided was absolutely spot on. The nearby national park provided us with a sensational walk down to the river and also a scenic view of the valley itself. The property was very clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and the amenities were very suitable. The ambience of the property made our stay most enjoyable. I would most certainly recommend a stay at this cottage or one of the others at Hidden Valley Retreat Cottages.
