Charming cottage which is filled with lovely memorabillia, period furniture and furnishings.The home is bigger than it looks in the pics. It is comfortable and really well equipped.The owners were so friendly and helpful - we have never met nicer hosts :)They made our stay so easy!

Cute cottage. Walking distance to a Woolworths and Coles. Very comfortable and well kept with some basic supplies provided (think cotton tips, some condiments). Good air conditioning throughout and electric blankets. Secure and very homely. Easy conversation with the house for access. So well organised - made everything simple.

Only a couple of reservations. The first being the location which I know, like other reviewers, is a bit sad but tolerable. The second is the description as two bathrooms. We didn't think putting the shower and bathtub in different rooms counts as two bathrooms. Especially as some, like the four us, might misunderstand that we have to share a toilet. Otherwise AWESOME! in all the many ways that were described in other reviews that helped us decide to book in the first place. Character, charm, convenience and comfort in bucket loads!.

Well located, private and quiet residence. Garden can be closed off so secure from the street - but it was quiet anyway. Very comfortable bed. The whole house easy to use. Shower was spacious and hot!

Had everything that we needed and was very clean. There was plenty of room which we needed for all our luggage. Furnishings were mainly period but had all the modern amenities. Plenty of tea and coffee and other cooking condiments. Bed was fine stayed for 4 nights.

Charming Ella’s Place

We had a great stay at Ella’s place. Very well equipped cottage with beautiful appointed rooms. The DVDs and old magazines were a plus as well as the charming outdoor setting at the back.

Beautiful Cottage

Clean, tidy and everything we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Combined with the fascinating, historic decor and story all made for a wonderful stay in Ella's Place. We come to Broken Hill quite often and this was definitely one of the nicest cottages we have rented!

Charming period cottage in quiet Broken Hill location. Ideal for our stay on our road trip out west. Had everything we could wish for. Short Uber ride into town if we didn't want to drive

Perfect place for a get away

We enjoyed our stay. Ella's place was very cosy and comfortable. It was well supplied with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed all the furniture and memorabilia from the early 1900s around the house and outside.There were treasures everywhere and the artwork and photos were captivating.

Ellas place is not the epitome of modern luxury but makes up for this with lots of character and history. Comfy beds and all the facilities you need.

Ella's Place is a lovely miners cottage lovingly restored in early 20th Century decor. It is like staying in grandma's home, yet has all the modern conveniences such as air conditioning, a microwave and TV. The owner Corrine goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have everything they could possibly need. If you like history, I highly recommend this cottage.

A lovely clean property with the essence of the past and the comfort of air conditioners in each room. We felt very welcomed the moment we arrived. Hosts are great communicators and very helpful. Highly recommend 👍

Cosy, comfortable and well equipped

Ella’s Cottage was clean, cosy, comfortable and well equipped . A peek into the history of the cottage was provided complimenting the unique charm and history of Broken Hill. Corinne and Kim were responsive and friendly hosts.

Absolutely divine!

We had four nights at Ella's Place and had the most wonderful time. The house is gorgeous and oh so comfortable with everything you need. I loved all the unique touches - transporting you back in time. Most of our time was spent outdoors under the vines and cooking on the BBQ - so very relaxing. I can't recommend Ella's Place enough.

Hi Christine, We are so glad you enjoyed Ella's place. We have tried to make it as comfortable as possible for our guests. I know what I like when I stay somewhere and that is the minimum standard we aim for. We are glad you enjoyed the outdoor area and hope you got to taste some of the grapes as they are usually extremely tasty. We spoke to the housekeeper today and she said she had to go and see if the beds had been slept in as the house was left spotless. Not even any sign of your four legged baby.
