The house was excellent in every way. We had everything we needed for a week stay. It was clean and well organized. Check in and out were seamless and the owners were responsive to all our questions. One way they went above the norm, the house was cool on our arrival on a very hot day.The house is in a beautiful neighborhood and well situated to access the area.

Great spot for a family stay

Overall, our stay was enjoyable in this spacious property. The only downside was that the neighbors dog did bark a fair bit.

Perfect stay for family event

We were in town for my son’s wedding. This property allowed perfect space for family to stop and visit, ample sleeping space, two showers, and a nice kitchen to bring our own food and beverages. This property was a blessing for our family to make wonderful memories!

Great Stay

Great place for our family trip. Plenty of room for all of us and had everything we needed. For the initial stay kitchen and bath was fully stocked with all supplies required. Though, cloth kitchen towels would have been a better addition to replace all the paper towels used. The AC was in perfect order for hot humid Iowa in June. Property was adequately clean. Cleanliness is so subjective, my idea of clean may not be your idea of clean. we do hope this home is available on our next trip, we would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet home in a nice subdivision located on a cul du sac. Fenced in back yard, nice wooden deck with outdoor furniture. Location is great for shopping and restaurants. Owners were great to work with. When in Iowa, will look to rent again.

Clean home with plenty of space for everyone. Fenced yard for the dogs too. Even a discount at the home owners restaurant and it was delicious.

Great owners

We were unable to make it up due to weather so we had to cancel at the last minute. The owners refunded our money even though they didn't have to. Really great people to work with through the whole process. Hope to stay there in the near future.

House was ok

House was ok. It could do with a better clean, kitchen blinds were dirty. Extra bedding would be good, comforters and more pillows. As someone else mentioned, the next door neighbors were noisy through the night with their coming and going and dog barking.

Great place for our stay for a graduation weekend.

The back porch was amazing. In the morning it was shady, and in the evening the same, I think we ate every meal out there. Good location for us. My husband and I stayed there with a daughter, her husband, and two of their daughters. I think the icemaker might need some work. Broken white plastic pieces would come out with the ice, and some ice would leak onto floor. Otherwise, nice stay.

Nice property; nice neighborhood, conenient to groceries, and freeways. Was missing some expectations on blankets, linen. One overifing concern was the internal security cameras upstairs and downstairs (i.e. was anybody watching and/or listening).

Perfect Urbandale Home

We stayed here for about 10 days, and we had everything we needed in the home and around us. The house is large and there is plenty of room and space. Well-equipped on every level and conveniently located to all that we needed. Joy was so helpful and responsive. Amazing host!!! The A/C went out during the heat wave in August, and Joy was on it. We had cool air within hours. Great home, great location, great host! Thanks!!

Dog Days and Nights

The house upon arrival was not as clean as we left it. The entry door glass hadn’t been cleaned and dead flies lined the patio slider doors. The house is adequate but certainly outdated. The master shower curtain had not been cleaned in forever fortunately there was a large bottle of bleach that I used nearly half of on the curtain to clean it. The neighbor directly to the south keeps TWO large and LOUD dogs in their garage. Each morning at 6:20 and every evening at about 10:30 they would tie them to their basketball hoop adjacent to this property’s south side. The master bedroom is directly above them. They YIP, BARK, and GROWL THE ENTIRE TIME THEY ARE TIED UP. Usually they take them back in after 15 to 20 minutes. It was so bad I considered calling the ARL which my wife talked me out of. We told the owner the very first day and he shrugged and said “well we have only had one complaint”. Maybe they should spend a night. If you need to be up by 6:20 and don’t mind going to bed after 11 this place is adequate. We were very happy to leave.

Someone happy to be out of our house is the last thing we want to hear. I want to apologize to you. Sounds like a couple issues with cleanliness of the house. I will address that with the cleaning crew. Don’t hesitate to reach out while you are staying. We keep a stock of items like that on hand and would have been happy to deliver a shower curtain to you. Easier to replace then scrub clean so I’m sorry you had to do that. As far as the neighbors dogs we have had spoken with them before and will do so again. We have other homes in the area if you do have the need to stay we would be happy to accommodate you a different location with no adjacent pets. Thank you for the constructive critism and again I apologize your stay wasn’t ideal.
