First year back to Bald Head since 2009

We finally made it back to Bald Head this year after missing he last several summers. The island is still amazing and this house was perfect for us. The location was great as we divided our time between beach access 17 and the Shoals Club. The kids stayed on the bikes running up and down the road to the "alligator pit" as they called it, right down the road. We also got to see the GIANT alligator that lives in the one of the ponds on the BHI golf course. Having the towels and lines provided made travel so much easier, and really we couldn't have had a better week.

Beach 2023

I liked that each bedroom had an attached bath. Plenty of room for my grown children and my grandchildren. Kitchen is well supplied with lots of cooking utensils. Also lots of beach chairs and a bike for everyone. Deck needs to be replaced as there were nails that stuck up. So shoes on the deck was a must. Beach is a short walk with easy access. The view from the deck was nice and most days there was a pleasant breeze.

Ideal place on BHI

Ideal location, great layout and wonderful communication with Anne. She did everything possible to make sure our stay was pleasant! Will definitely look into renting again!

Just what we needed

House had everything we needed and even a few things we had hoped to use but ran out of time. Plenty of space for our family of 6 and ample outdoor space/decks/chairs. House had the essentials that are needed for a family vacation. House was worn but clean and met all of our needs. Had bikes and more beach equipment than we could use! Owner was great to work with.

Comfortable Homelike Beach Stay

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at this house. What sets this one apart from most that we have rented is that the owners make available many amenities as shown in the listing, but also many smaller things, such as rice cooker and electric skillet in the kitchen, and in the garage lots of outdoor gear and equipment as well. They have many bikes and beach chairs - enough for all. The house hasn't been modernized with all of the latest in home fashion, but has good quality proven design furnishings that get the job done effectively and efficiently. We are definitely interested in staying at this location on our next trip to BHI. Also, Anne the rental manager was very helpful and responsive in communication throughout the stay.

Fabulous 4th

We had a great time, love the location and layout of the house. It was wonderful to have four large bedrooms and four bathrooms. The house is old but still in great shape. It was great having the golf carts, bikes and beach equipment. Communication with owners was fantastic, very responsive - even bought us pizza the first night when the cleaners were late. Would definitely stay here again, five stars!

Easy and nice

Really easy to work with the owner, especially on short notice. This home was very clean and worked well for our family. Had all the "stuff" for great beach days. Perfect location for us and great views.

Another amazing year at BHI

This home was very clean and perfect for our family. Star gazing from the porch was incredible, and the kids were pleased with all the sand toys and bikes! Anne was awesome to work with! Already looking forward to our return next year.

Wonderful

My family and I have stayed in this property multiple times over the years. We always check this listing first when planning our vacation. The house is wonderful for our needs with the big open floor plan and each bedroom having their own full bathroom. They have lot's of bikes and chairs for the beach which is great. The extra fridge is a hugh plus. The only thing I which they had was a outdoor table for the porch where we could eat outside. Anne is so easy to work with and makes you feel so welcome in their lovely home.

A lovely week at Bald Head

We had a great time at Bald Head. We took the golf carts to the beach everyday and walked for miles. Anne is excellent, any questions I had we always addressed.

Ideal rental home for our family of 10!

This home was fabulous for our family of 5 who met up with our cross country family of 5. The cousins had a blast together there with the numerous games, and even just hanging out watching tv at night after our beach/pool time was done for the day. We absolutely LOVED the fact that each bedroom had it's own en suite. Anne was beyond amazing to rent from!!! Thank you for the ideal family vacay home for our 2019 BHI trip!!!
