Softball Tournament weekend getaway

The property was the perfect size for our entire team to stay at comfortably! It also had every amenity that we needed for our trip and relaxation!

Perfect

We had an annual cousin weekend at the lake, and could not have asked for a better place! It fit us all nicely and we still had plenty of space. We will certainly look at staying at the same place again in the future.

Great space and location

Overall we were happy with our stay. The location and size were perfect. This house needs a thorough cleaning and some updating. A fresh coat of paint, some new appliances and updated decor would really help improve this rental. The owners were very responsive and great to work with!

Great location but really dirty

I loved the location of the property and the size was perfect, everyone had their own room and space. However, the place is really dirty. The floors were so bad that you had to wear shoes or flip flops, otherwise your feet were black as coal. The furniture was filthy, there was long hair stuck on the bathroom walls…really gross. I sat in an outdoor chair that was provided on the screened patio the entire stay. When we arrived the king room wasn’t made up, no sheets to be found and it was too late to call so we made do until the morning. The roof on the screened patio has a large leak, it poured rain during our stay. The place is really run down and outdated.

Hi Lori, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We take the cleanliness of our home seriously and have since started working with a new cleaning company to ensure our home is cleaned and 100% ready for each guest stay. We have learned with all the traffic of people, black top roads and shoes being left on, it has left residual residue on the flooring. We are having the floors steam mopped to remove that which causes the blackness on your feet so future guests do not share the same experience. Where we have never had this complaint before we will have the new cleaning team further look into the concerns of the furniture cleanliness. - We have since had the roof checked and were unable to locate or duplicate the leak that you mentioned, and wish you had brought this to our attention during your stay. We will continue to monitor. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

We had questions on where the pools were located and the owner was quick to respond with directions and help. Great place and location. Definitely would recommend for a stay.

I stayed at this house with some friends for a conference. We needed a bit of flexibility checking in and out with the conference and they were very accommodating. The house was nice and clean. We will definitely look into this place again when we come back next year for the conference.

Great spontaneous getaway

We had a great time. It was in a perfect location in the Margaritaville resort area and the home was cozy and offered everything we needed for a nice short getaway. We would definitely return.

Clean and Comfy

This home was very clean...my number 1 criteria in lodging of any kind! Kitchen and dining room were a little outdated. Bathrooms were very nice. We went to the nearby indoor water park at Margaritaville. So much fun for the kids. There were many steps inside the house...This was very inconvenient for me as I am in physical therapy due to back issues that make it painful to go up & down steps! I don’t remember reading that on the vrbo property description. Otherwise it was nice to be in a house instead of a condo or hotel room.

Great place with a perfect location!

This place was perfect for our needs. Very spacious and very clean. We had 5 couples staying 3 nights and it was a perfect size. The 4 parking spots were great as most places have only 3. The pool and restaurant very just a quick 2 minute drive. Owners were very helpful with any concerns we had but we didn’t have any. Overall a wonderful place and wouldn’t hesitate renting from again. Thank you!

Every Room Like a Hotel

We just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this house! Four couples each had a bedroom with its own private bathroom, set up like a hotel room. The house was a little dated, but very clean and spacious, with plenty of room for four couples. As far as attractions go, we were close to Margaritaville and other restaurants and stores — plenty to do. We didn't make use of the pools on the property, so I cannot comment on those. The owners were readily available by phone if needed. Recommendations: the owner offered to arrange a boat ride for us, but we didn't know this until we got down there (it was in the literature at the cabin). Recommend that you arrange this in advance with the owner. Also: bring your own bath soaps, shampoo, etc. as none were provided, as stated in the description.
