Wow! thank you for such a lovely review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday in 2 Tenby Lodge. It was a pleasure to have you and your family stay and we would love for all of you to visit us again.

I have to say I was extremely disappointed with your review. The comment about being tired is particularly unfair especially as we have replaced so many things. Due to covid and the fact we weren’t able to get down here for nearly two years, maintenance was our top priority. The heated towel rail has never worked as builder never put in an electric supply and is only used as towel rail. It is not mentioned in the particulars of the property details that we have a heated towel. We have fan heaters which both work in each bathroom. We also have a replacement normal towel rail which is waiting to be replace the old one. Your comment about the toilet brushes are completely untrue as is the bit about the mop and uncalled for. I checked myself, the brushes were clean with no faeces, urine or tissue on them and in excellent condition. One had a slight discolouration from the bleach used and we have replaced it. The mop was perfectly clean and a nice clean colour. The property is completely redecorated and is in the middle of a re- paint. We are at the end of season too. Our reviews speak for themselves. All our reviews speak of the property being clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. No mention of the all the extras we provide which others don’t provide and no mention of how much cheaper we were than neighbouring lodges. The extractor fan switches are isolator switches and supposed to be there by law. They are not for the guest to touch as the fans need to be on every time the bathroom is used for bathing. The fans work by turning on the bathroom lights. I have checked all 4 fans and all are working perfectly. The property is maintained to a very high standard, we are constantly checking for damage and things not working and repair them almost immediately . We spend hours cleaning the property and making sure our holiday home is clean and comfortable. In your conversations you mentioned you hadn’t been to the area in many many years. From the sound of it over 20 years. These lodges were built between 2003 and the others behind a lot later around 2009. We were the first to let in 2006. For a good few years only2 properties were let out, ours and our neighbour. I can only assume that you stayed in the small 2 bed chalets on Trewent park. We are on Freshwater Bay which is in front.

Hopefully we should have broadband of our own end of July. It's only been about 2 years of waiting lol. We are super excited that it is finally happening. It's a shame the pay wifi was changed just before your visit last year. It has improved a lot since then.

There was only one issue that we were told about and that was the sound had stopped working on the TV in the lounge and we replaced the TV the next day. The other TV in the master bedroom was working fine. The external wifi can be intermittent due to the amount of people who are on it. This is an external internet service set up for the Freshwater Bay Holiday Park. We are having our own Wifi soon and it should be in for next year. We are in the Pembrokeshire National Park and it is difficult to get a mobile phone signal. There is a telephone box about 200 m away if you need to make a phone call urgently.
