Val di Chiana y sus aldeas: La villa se encuentra en el corazón de la Toscana a pocos km de Cortona Montepulciano y Chiusi, una estación muy importante que se conectan en una hora de Roma y Florencia, y Pienza o Montepulciano. La villa está escondido en un hermoso paisaje de colinas y vineyeards. Orvieto también es easly puede llegar en 20 minutos en coche. Wonderful for Large Family/Friend groups

It was perfect to be able to have so many family and friends stay together then have a wedding. The pre stay coordination was sometimes confusing, but everything worked out perfect. The onsite manager and staff were excellent and made our week long stay with 26 (+2 littles) perfect. A Bit out of the way, but meant less congestion and traffic and tourist. Breakfast and meals they prepared and served were outstanding. The on site staff coordinated with all the wedding vendors, so everything was perfect. The wedding reception and meal were excellent.My daughter and new son in law could not be happier. Lots of areas to hang out together and use of the kitchen/grill to prepare our own food we bought at the supermarkets was awesome. The local wine they had available for purchase was very good. Lots of space and plenty of bathrooms. Italian beds are not the same as in the US, so just be prepared. Same with the washing machines ( was easier and quicker to go to laundry mat near by as we had a full house). We have some stunning photos and I would be more than happy to share info with quests considering a stay. We appreciate the hospitality and kindness of the staff.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this villa.

What an amazing place - the villa itself is beautiful and spacious, the guest rooms and bathrooms are lovely and very clean, and the entire property and views are simply breathtaking! Photos could never truly do it justice. The villa is surrounded by beautiful manicured lawns and rolling hills and the location was perfectly peaceful. The garden was perfect even if we were in winter time . We also felt the location was wonderful for exploring the surrounding region - a short drive to Castiglione made it easy to get whatever we needed for the house, and many other charming hill towns were within an easy drive for short day trips. Angela was full of recommendations for the surrounding cities and not only gave us information and maps, but told us the important highlights and must sees of each town we planned to visit. Sabrina was extremely,polite, pacient and helpful during the booking process. We had a short week end stay and booked a dinner to taste menus for our wedding party . The food was delicious! I highly recommend the villa and we chose it to celebrate our wedding next summer!

Safety, Cleanliness and energy price disappointing

We were 12 adults and 11 children, 7 of them younger than 3years. Safety: E.g. There were a lot of big rat traps with dangerous poison both outside and inside of the houses. We were not informed about this at our arrival even though we had a lot of young children in our group. The traps had holes for the rats that were big enough for our children to put their hands inside. The housekeeper removed some of the traps at our request but there were many more traps on the premise, even inside of the house e.g. in the living room Cleanliness: - We have cooked a pasta dinner for the whole group on our first evening after the housekeeping has cleaned the entire kitchen. For the pasta, we have used the pasta cooker in the kitchen. When cleaning the pasta cooker thoroughly after dinner, we found cigarette remains in the bottom of the pasta cooker. So our whole group ate pasta that was cooked in contaminated water due to a lack of cleaning from the houses cleaning staff. - When the pool cleaner left the premise on Tuesday, he left all dirt from the water filters on the walkways next to the pool. He even left a dead frog lying on the ground. - Loose toilet seats and doorknobs - Cold Water Energy: 300 kWh of electricity are included in the rental price. Housekeeper recommended to not use the AC which we did not. Still, in the end of our stay, we had to pay 600 EUR in additional cost for electricity. One could assume that the basic cost for electricity would be covered.

Wedding anniversary holiday

It was a wonderful holiday, a great house to celebrate and enjoy with friends and family. One minus point is that there is not enough electricity included in the rental price, so we had to pay a lot more at the end of the week. Otherwise just beautiful...

Perfect house for large group

Well disposed house with plenty of bedrooms, nearly all with separate bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen, spacious social areas and a very nice garden and outdoor dinner setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Villa!

GREAT BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

We spent a week at the magical Villa Charme in Tuscany. It was to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and we were joined by family members who came from all over. The house ultimately housed all 24 of us very comfortably, including two rather elderly grandmothers! Our stay at the Villa was everything we had hoped for. The Villa was everything it promised to be. It is quite magnificent and worked extremely well for so many of us. At the same time, we all had our own private suites and so were able to relax in some privacy too. The host Angela made a few dinners for all of us on our first evening there and for the rest we enjoyed making our purchases at the little local supermarket and cooking for ourselves. The Villa is also very conveniently situated so that we could make some day visits to Florence and Sienna as well as some other smaller towns and cities. Our teenagers went out one evening to a local establishment and they really enjoyed their evening. The house is at the same modern and rural and very well equipped. The children enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool even though it was not terribly warm yet. It was a very memorable holiday and I have to thank Sabrina for the Villa choice which was everything that you said it would be. We also had a very authentic experience on Sunday when we attended the local church for Sunday mass - this was definitely one of the highlights!

Amazing Tuscany

I spent a week in this villa with a group of friends. We all are part of a tasting wine club in France and, as we are fond of this sublime product, this year we decided to visit the Tuscan countryside, famous for its vineyards. I was the responsible to find a house where all of us could sleep and I started an online search. In the Villa & Charme site I saw many villas all settled in Tuscany that could be perfect for our numerous group and, emailing with Sabrina, we opted for this villa that perfectly fits with all our needs. The villa is charming, spacious, clean and comfortable, provided of everything you could desire during a vacation. We also had the chance to taste a traditional Italian dinner, prepared directly in the villa by a cooking service we booked online while booking the villa: every dish was served with a different Tuscan wine, as we asked to taste different and new combination of the Italian gastronomy. If I should give a vote to this experience I would give 10/10+. The location, was perfect, the villa was stunning and Tuscany, well, speaks to itself.

A dream in the heart of Tuscany

This spacious villa met all our expectations. From the moment we booked our trip (on a relatively blind internet search), Sabrina took complete care of ensuring that this would be an unforgettable adventure. We gathered friends and family to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Sabrina arranged our entire week-long stay to include breakfast dinners, lunches which allowed us to get a complete flavor for the people and the rich culture of Toscana region of Italy. The villa is beautifully located and has a well equipped kitchen with high quality products. All rooms are light and airy and the whole property exudes an atmosphere of calm. A fantastic place to spend your vacation. We were 24 people and it was roomy space for us all. The property is located midway Cortona and Montepulciano and very close to the Lake Trasimeno. We give "Villa " our heartfelt recommendations. This villa is perfect for a big family celebration. We were 22 adults and 2 small children enjoying a week together. Everything was just great including the lovely morning walks to the village the jumps into the deep pool, the lazy lunches at the long table and afternoon visits to nearby vineyards. This villa has it all for large happy gatherings.

The trip of a lifetime

My family spent 3 weeks at Villa V last summer. We love to cook, and were originally drawn to the kitchen and pizza oven at Villa V. While these were the initial points of interest, we quickly realized what a special property we had found. Our family stayed in the main house, which worked well for our large group. The property is also versatile enough to hold multiple families each of which can have their own separate living space. There are multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, including a pool, which we used throughout our stay. Sabrina is an amazing manager and she perfectly organised our holiday in all details. Then,we chose to have breakfast and dinner prepared at the villa for the whole week. We had a cooking lesson and we loved it! We learnt how to make homemade pici pasta and pizza! It’s helpful to have a car while staying at Villa V, and you may easily visit typical Tuscan cities like Cortona, Montepulciano, Siena Florence etc. At one point during the trip, our son was sick and the housekeeper arranged for a doctor to come to the house; he is accessible for things that happen which may be unexpected during your time in Italy. We hope to have the chance to return again!

AMAZING!!

All I can say about our stay is AMAZING!! We had the most perfect stay for the week and our wedding was equally as perfect. The villa staff were absolutely amazing with the preparation of the house and food. Nothing was every too much trouble for them and we and our guests were always made to feel so special. A huge thanks to you as well for all your help and assistance through all the organisation for the wedding. Everything went just perfectly and we would not have wanted anything different. We had the most special time in Italy and it wouldn't have been half as wonderful without yours help!

Fantastic holiday

We rented this villa for a birthday party, so that our large family could come together for this celebration. We're 30 adults and 8 kids including 4 toddlers. First of all, I want to thank Angela, who manages the villa, for organizing and taking care of the villa, accommodating 38 people comfortably, for meeting every request and desire, for cooking 3 fantastic dinners, and arranging a spectacular dinner celebration, exactly the way she was asked to do. She was fantastic, and exceeded my expectations, even for a luxury property, such as this villa. I don't think I could have done it without her. The property itself is beautiful, located in a very picturesque spot in Umbria, a short drive from and to Tuscany. It is very well maintained, very clean, and has every convenience to accommodate a large party. There is a large well maintained pool, which is safe for the children to play in; beautiful well maintained grounds to walk around; a very comfortable common area for everybody to get together; and lovely suites to accommodate individual guests, or families. The only thing to keep in mind is that one needs a car, when staying in Umbria or Tuscany, otherwise, it's hard to get around. However, with current navigation technology, it was no problem at all to get around. The villa is conveniently located, within a relatively short drive to Montepulciano, Montelcino, Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, etc. There is plenty to see, as the whole country is a museum. This was a fantastic holiday that all of us will remember for a very long time to come. It was a unique experience, which was only possible with Angela's help. Wonderful place!!!!

our daughter's wedding, was fantastic

Hi Sabrina, I am sorry not to send feedback sooner, regarding our stay at Villa Vera. However our trip to Cortona for our daughter's wedding, was fantastic. The villa itself was well equipped, the furniture around the pool was new, along with the outside barbeque and oven. The pool was clean and well mantained. The separate annexes made sharing with a large group easier, with regards catering and privacy. The main reason for our visit was our daughter's wedding and the housekeeper went out of her way to provide everthing we required. The catering and staff were truly wonderful, wine and food to a high standard, wedding cake an Italian dream, and everything local to the area. I could certainly recommend the villa to be hired for a wedding as the setting is beautiful, the table setting, outside next to the pool looked great and the food cooked outside tasted delicious. Cortona itself is a unique place to get married, very romantic, with endless photographic opportunities. We hope to return in the future, and we wish you well.
