The home was beautiful, well appointed and in great condition when we arrived. The seaside location was as picturesque as promised in the promotional materials. We never met our host but when we requested a list of local amenities and services providers, the host sent a a very useful set of information. We used one of the caterers and a charter boat operator on the provided list and both suppliers were excellent. In summary, we could not have been more pleased with our decision to stay at Ocean's Edge during our visit to Grand Cayman Island.

This house was everything I could have wanted to celebrate my 70th birthday with family and friends. The outside and inside were spectacular!! The only complaint I have is the bunk bed bedroom. It had no closet or attached bathroom like the other bedrooms, so anyone staying in that”bedroom “ had to use the Master Bedroom Bath. It would have been better use of space to make it into a fitness room.

Living in Luxury

11 of my family stayed here to celebrate our mother's 85th birthday. What a place. The view is stunning, the pool and hot tub inviting and rooms were luxurious. Away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown but a short drive to anything we needed. Would definitely consider a return visit.

Beautiful Home

The photos of this property don't do it justice. It is stunningly beautiful, inside and out. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for my 50th birthday celebration. There were 12 of us staying at the house and it accommodated us perfectly. I would definitely recommend this property.

The pictures for this house doesn’t do it Justice beautiful views and house. Furnishings were top notch—commercial kitchen, 2 washer/dryer rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of outside seating, showers and tubs in all bathrooms.

Beautiful Cayman

Overall we had a great stay We were a large group that spend 12 days on the property. The villa itself is beautiful, and so is the sea vista. It's close to the supermarket but far from other venue ( 30 minutes or more from Caribbean Club, Kimpton Seafire or The Ritz-Carlton, on 7 mile beach) Worth the money!

Beyond all expectations!!!

This truly was a once in a lifetime memory for our family!! Our nephews received their open water dive certification, we spent the week as a family, diving, swimming, sitting in the hot tub every evening and eating dinner under the stars at this incredible property. Portia was so very hospitable, and available should we have needed anything. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to share in their piece of paradise. It was truly wonderful, and we look forward to returning soon.

The MOST Amazing Home!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come to GC quite often, and have rented a number of homes. This estate is by far the most beautiful and most comfortable home we have ever been. The living and outdoor spaces are incredible, and there is more than enough room for large families to gather, but the bedrooms are all privately situated. The outdoor spaces are amazing, and the ocean view is incredible. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful stay, beautiful property

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous property. I highly recommend this property for a large family. All the amenities are available, we couldn't have picked a better property for our large family gathering. Only downside is the pool, entire pool is 7ft deep with steps leading to it. Shallower pool from 3-7 ft would be nice. There is NO beach access and Spott's beach two minute drive from the property is not that clean, lots of seaweed. Overall, very good property, well maintained grounds, can easily sleep 18 or even 20.

I must point out that th large Infinity pool at Oceans Edge Seaside Estate is spectacular. It does have a maximum depth of 7 feet for the avid swimmer and it also has a large shallow area. The pool starts with a one-foot depth when it is first entered and slowly tapers down to a deeper area, allowing various depths for one's enjoyment. Spotts Beach is a beautiful and clean beach but unfortunately, the seaweed or seagrass does come and go on all beaches throughout the Caribbean including into Florida. Oustanding experience on Grand Cayman

Morning Glory was amazing! It was everything we expected and more. The property manager was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. The location is great and the views are second to none. The house is even better than it looks in the photos and the pool is breathtaking both day and night. We took advantage of the out door cooking area and enjoyed dinner under the stars at night. It was like having our own private coastline. If you want to truly get away from it all, this is the place for you. We will certainly be back to visit this house again.

Perfect Getaway

Over the last 5 years my family has rented quite a few homes in the Caribbean and this has been by far the best. We had 14 people, grandparents, 3 couples, a 4 year old, 3 one year olds and two teenagers. It was the perfect size where we all had our own space but there was enough room for us all to hang out together. The house and grounds are kept up beautifully by Portia and we were impressed by how simple the decor was making it easy to feel comfortable. Pros-lots of storage in rooms and kitchen for food you buy and clothes you bring. Close to grocery store and food. 15 minutes from downtown but far away enough to miss all the tourists and cruise ships. Lots of rooms, including a separate guest house. Very private. Great for kids, there are plugs in the outlets and you can close doors to keep kids in and there's a playground for them to play on. Cons- as mentioned in other reviews the pool floor is very rough. My 4 year old bled a lot on her feet and legs and we finally had her wear shoes to swim. There is no shallow end, just stairs, the rest of the pool is all 7 ft. While the beach is driving distance it has a strong current and big waves for small children so it isn't a place you'd really want to spend the day. If you want water bottles you have to buy your own. We talked to Portia about this because they only give you one jug and for 14 people we went through 1 a day and to buy them is expensive. Overall I highly recommend this house.

I am sorry to hear that your 4 year old found the pool stairs rough, but they are covered with a special non-slip surface covering, and unfortunately this can be abrasive to some sensitive skins. Spotts Beach is the closet public beach, about a 2 mile drive, and the current there can be strong on a rough day, but on a calm day it is a gorgeous place to snorkel, swim and turtle watch. With regards to the drinking water, I will encourage the owner to install a water cooler in the kitchen area. However, the water here is safe enough to drink, but for taking water bottles with you when you go out for the day, guests would need to buy those from the local grocery store, and a case of 24 bottles costs around US$8. Once again we are so pleased that you all found the house comfortable, spacious and well equipped, so we look forward to welcoming you back to Grand Cayman for another vacation in the near future. Amazing property

This house is gorgeous. The rooms were exactly as pictured. The house is very clean and luxurious and beautifully decorated. We had no issues with air conditioning or appliances or anything like that. Jennie is very responsive and told us of an amazing beach very close to the house called Beach Bay which had an amazing little cove (a little rocky) and NO ONE ELSE THERE. Enjoyed that for hours. Water shoes made it a little easier but it’s like a giant ocean pool which was shallow enough for our kids to stand in. We didn’t know ahead of time but the house does have four beach chairs and two umbrellas and a bunch of coolers so we were set up nicely. Again, with no one else there! Couple of quick points: 1. There was a previous review that commented on the pool so I want to clarify it because both the original poster and the response are accurate. The pool is one depth and it’s seven feet. However there are many broad steps to go in and there’s a shelf around the whole pool so you can sit anywhere. But, there’s no classic “shallow end” for kids to play in. 2. My only “complaint”, and it’s minor, is that the beach umbrellas don’t attach up top properly. So, they blew away one day. The base remained in the sand, but the tops blew off in spite of being levered down. The glue doesn’t work properly. We all loved this house and would highly recommend it and Jennie. We’d def stay again.

My 70th Birthday Celebration in Cayman!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was everything I expected and more! It’s a gorgeous property beautifully maintained from the clean home upon entry, the manicured landscape and the crystal sparkling pool. Our property manager, Jennie, was fantastic to work with from her genuine wanting us to have a great time to her excursion and chef recommendations. Chef at Home catered my birthday dinner and it was delicious. The team was great.
