'Descalzo en Blairgowrie' ha sido renovado con estilo por el nuevo propietario y amueblado con amor y ahora se presenta como una casa de vacaciones hermosa y relajada.

Es perfecto para la vida interior / exterior con el patio delantero que se ha plantado para brindarle un espacio tranquilo donde puede desayunar por la mañana tomando el sol o descansar y tomar un café mientras lee un libro. Hay una mesa al aire libre, barbacoa y un jardín de hierbas para su uso. Tendrá la sensación de estar completamente inmerso y conectado con el paisaje natural costero nativo de la zona. El patio trasero es donde puedes relajarte junto a la espectacular piscina climatizada con energía solar que domina el parque nacional y escuchar las olas del océano. También hay una ducha al aire libre fría / caliente.

Hay enfriamiento que fluye por toda la casa y ventiladores de techo en la sala de estar y dos de los dormitorios. Si bien esto es ideal en verano, también es una escapada perfecta para el invierno con calefacción y un encantador calentador de leña.

La moderna cocina tiene un banco en la isla para darle más espacio, una máquina de café y lavavajillas y una gran mesa de comedor con 8 asientos. Hay wifi gratis.

La propiedad se encuentra en la playa de Blairgowrie, a solo 300 metros de la famosa playa de Bridgewater Bay y es una excelente ubicación para ubicarse en los numerosos senderos para caminar por la playa. Está a solo 5 minutos en coche de las tiendas y la playa de Blairgowrie, a 10 minutos en coche de Peninsula Hot Springs y es la puerta de entrada perfecta a las bodegas de la península.

Great Holiday Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Barefoot in Blairgowrie. The location is great being right on the beach and also quiet being at the back beach rather than the peninsula side. The house is very stylish and well laid out and it was great having the pool, which got sun for most of the day, to use for lazy days by the pool or for an early morning swim or to come back to after a few hours out hiking, etc. The house is also well equipped as a holiday home with a well equipped kitchen, bbq, pizza oven, etc. Management/host communication was also very good. We will stay again.

Lovely Property, Lousy service

A beautiful space to experience a beach stay with a genuine beach house vibe and comfy Beds as well. However, when you're charged a premium price, you expect all amenities advertised to entice you to the property, to be available. The heated pool advertised was not heated and the owners would have known this. I don't have any problem with House Rules but the "List of Commands" I received after the money was whisked out of my bank account, would have put me off using the property if I'd seen them first. For instance, I was expected to put the owners wheelie bins out to the curb or be charged $50 a bin, after staying less than 48hrs and so the list went on.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed the house. We certainly appreciate your feedback, but I am a bit confused with your comments about our Terms and Conditions. You receive these prior to proceeding with your booking through HomeAway and you can then choose whether you would like to go ahead with your booking based on these conditions. The swimming pool is advertised as being solar heated (not gas heated) and whilst the solar heater was definitely turned on, unfortunately the weather was not hot enough for it to be effective for your weekend stay.

Location amazing, cleanliness and property manager not so much

The location and design of this property is beautiful, so secluded, quiet, and beautifully thought out. My children and I loved the pool, the close proximity to the beach and the feeling of being isolated. However, upon arriving at the property the floor across the whole property was filthy, I spent two hours sweeping and hoovering everywhere. I even found nail clippings. There was also towels missing. I contacted the property team and was told that dust etc can blow in and I will just need to sweep up everyday. This is not acceptable, even if this is the case what I found upon arriving was not a daily amount, and in any case the team should make sure that when I arrive the property is in top cleaning shape. I was very disappointed, especially with how this was managed. The property only had one bathroom, a negative for a family, there is no bin in the bathroom which is against property letting rules. I would suggest adding more locks on the doors, the locks on the outside doors are all very flimsy and I didn’t feel particularly comfortable in the evenings. The beds are very uncomfortable, very hard and small, as they are only double beds. The pillows are also very uncomfortable. I really didn’t sleep well for the entire 10 nights. The bedside tables are also a problem, they a block of wood that holds the bedside light only, no room for anything else so if you want a drink or somewhere to pop something down then you will need to use the floor, not ideal, especially with the dusty floors. The icing on the cake for me was the property manager. I left a necklace at the house and asked if they could possibly send it to me back in Melbourne. They said yes and sent it to me: they then asked me for $10.99 after it has been sent, not before to ask for authorisation. They have taken this out my stayz account without me giving the go ahead. I was also incredibly surprised that they missed the opportunity for customer service. I paid $8000 for 10 nights, yet they demand $10.99 to post a necklace. I own a few holiday homes and honestly, this is such a lack in judgement. Due to this I will not be recommending the property to my friends in Melbourne. It is a beautiful property with the opportunity to be amazing go if managed correctly. The owners should have a conversation with the team to establish higher standards.

Obviously I am very distressed to receive such a negative review. This is such a shock seeing you left a lovely note at the property to say "we had a fantastic stay and everything was perfect, but unfortunately we have broken 2 glasses and a knife". We did not charge you for your breakages, but it is only fair to charge you for postage to return your lost property (we certainly did not charge you for our time to retrieve your lost property and to post it urgently to you so that it got to you before you left the country on 31 Dec). We really went over and above for you and feel horrified that you are questioning our customer service. We take such pride in how we treat our guests and how we present our properties, so this is very upsetting.

Perfect location

The property was nice and close to lovely beach walks and only short drive to the shops. The place was nice and clean and we really enjoyed our stay there.
