I would highly recommend staying here! The cabin was beautiful! The location was private enough but still in walking distance to the little town for early morning coffee! There's a well stocked kitchen, clean linens, and a nice fire pit for that evening fire -perfect for roasting marshmallows!! It is an adorable and peaceful place to experience mountain living.

The cabin was the perfect spot to rest and explore Yellowstone and the Bear Tooth Highway - and the cabin and surrounding property exceeded expectations. If I ever come back to this part of the country, I'll be staying here.

Cabin is beautiful! It had everything we needed. The town is quaint, perfect distance for heading into Yellowstone for hiking and fly fishing. This was the perfect getaway for relaxing and the hosts were quick to communicate and make sure we made it in ok. We'll definitely be back!

Cabin was very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Excellent location with quick, easy access to Yellowstone. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is very comfortable and in great shape, and the host has provided everything you need for your stay. I particularly liked the covered front porch featuring great wooden chairs and a nice view. Also only four minutes from the northeast gate of Yellowstone.

This cabin was very nice and close to the park entrance and Lamar Valley, which is what we where looking for. Unfortunately the weather was still very warm for this time of year so the animals in Lamar were way up in the mountains most of the trip. We still saw moose, mountain goats, bison, deer, and antelope running around. Be sure to bring as much as you can, because there isn't much in Silver Gate or Cooke City for amenities.

We really enjoyed the cabin. A short walk through the woods and you are on the Soda Butte river. We brought chairs with us and were able to walk down there and just relax. Beautiful! The town has a great little cafe and a place to get ice cream. Entrance to Yellowstone is just down the road. Great location, great cabin.

Our first night at dinner, we had an unforgettable visitor right outside the window—a bison! It was the perfect welcome to Yellowstone.The cabin was exactly as described: cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location on the east entrance of the park is ideal, making it easy to explore Yellowstone while also enjoying the charm of the surrounding area.The town is wonderful, the creek nearby is beautiful, and the hikes through the woods are fantastic. We absolutely loved this little cabin and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Perfectly situated right outside the NE Gate, this cabin couldn’t be better. Every detail is planned down to the silverware and Yellowstone photography by the owners on the walls. No clutter, stocked wonderfully, immaculately clean, check in process and communication with owners was exceptionally smooth. 15 stars out of 5. Absolutely perfect.

Awesome place and secluded. Love that it is away from anything touristy and super close to the Yellowstone entrance. If you want to see bears and other wildlife up close this is the place to be. Looking forward to coming back in May

Ursa Cabin was great for our stay in Silver Gate. Great location and a super comfortable cabin. Kitchen was super well equipped... great place to stay!.

Ursa cabin made our family’s visit to Montana and Yellowstone extra memorable. Every detail at the cabin is thoughtful—from the fully equipped kitchen to the most comfortable beds to the heated bathroom. This is a truly special retreat and so close to Lamar Valley for early morning wildlife viewing. Would recommend without reservation.

We loved our stay at Silver Willows Ursa cabin. The cabin has everything you could possibly need to feel the convenience and comfort of home. The kitchen is well supplied with everything from tools to spices. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have plenty of towels. We were grateful for the supplied laundry soap to do a couple loads of laundry as it was very convenient after getting dirty from miles and miles of hiking. We enjoyed watching movies at night from their large selection to choose from. The host was very communicative, friendly, and easy to contact. We even saw a few friendly foxes and beautiful blue jays out the window. We will definitely be back and choose Ursa cabin again!

Beautiful place. Very well stocked! Cabins nearby but it’s laid out so we didn’t see anyone! Mountain View’s are nice. Spent evenings on the porch (with sweatshirts). Loved it and hope to go back!

Perfect getaway

Cabin was very clean, beds were comfortable, and peaceful location. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking dinner each evening. Location is great for exploring Beartooth and Yellowstone.

The cabin exceeded expectations! The location makes for the perfect launching off point for Lamar Valley. Jenn & Max are amazing hosts! Our daughter had a medical emergency during our time in the area, and Jenn & Max were incredibly accommodating and helpful!! We will be back. Thank you!

Thoughtfully designed, comfortable and perfectly located for NW Yellowstone fishing and exploration. The cabin was fully appointed with everything one could need. Especially appreciated well appointed and stocked kitchen as Silver Gate restaurant offerings are thin. Much prefer Silver Gate vibe over that of busy touristy Gardiner. Check out the Beartooth Highway heading east and the national forest magic in addition to Yellowstone.
