Absolutely beautiful unit. The owners thought of every possible necessity. Love the historic features of the apartment. Very comfortable for two people. Easy to park on the street. Definitely is a bit outside the center of the city so be prepared to walk and to have to take a train or Uber. Overall would definitely stay again.

Check in was a breeze. Had an issue with the shower curtain that the host immediately had addressed so really appreciated the prompt communication throughout our five day stay. There is laundry in the basement so it was great to be able to wash a few things for our two week stay since we packed light! Walkable to most everything in Boston close to Fenway so that was a real plus. The neighborhood is also really quiet so that was great since I’m a light sleeper. Well appointed and lots of character, loved it!

Nicely decorated apartment in friendly neighbourhood

We loved the nicely decorated apartment with the well equipped kitchen and the cosy bathroom. The living room was very comfortable. The owners provided filtered water and brochures/maps about the area, we felt very welcome. Neighbourhood is friendly and the orange line not far away. We would come back if in Boston!

Very convenient, Roxbury area is close to everything. Super close to Orange Line made getting into town a breeze. Would definitely stay here again

Fun Boston Long Weekend

My husband and I wanted a cozy place for two near Boston's downtown. This apartment was perfect. The small well furnished kitchen was great for fixing our breakfasts, the bed was comfortable and the living/dining room areas were just the right size. We loved our accomodations and our visit to Boston.

We stayed just a few days and we’re only home to sleep. It is a very cozy place. Although we didn’t really use the kitchenI loved the layout and it looked well stocked.

Apartment is very nice. There are stairs...a little difficult with heavy luggage. There is no grocery store close by. The train station is close.

Pretty good. The bedroom is extremely tight but the bed comfortable . However, the pull out sofa was awful..the sofa frame was warped making it hard to get the bed out of the sofa. The bedframe, springs were broken. Clawfoot tub would be impossible for anyone with mobility issues. Dishes likely came from salvation army.Overall a good location though, nice and quiet at night.

Beautiful Boston apartment

We loved staying here! It's cozy and comfortable, with one of the best-equipped kitchens we've ever had at a Vrbo vacation, and it's very handy to the T and to neighborhood shops and restaurants. Here's how great a host Terry is: we mentioned to him that the living room could do with a better light for reading, thinking that he might follow up on this comment for the future; when we got home that very evening, an excellent reading lamp was waiting for us outside the door of the apartment. We'll definitely stay here again on future visits to Boston.

Great space

Well utilized space Clean and well decorated. Found parking no problem. Unfortunately, the orange line was closed during our visit. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was extremely cute and cozy, perfectly located with easy access to the T, just a few stops from Back Bay where our convention was. It was the perfect size for three. My friend had to arrive early and Terrance was very flexible and accommodating with that.

Nights in the Roxbury

The property was exactly as described. Clean, easily accessible, comfortable, and close to most main attractions. Property manager was helpful and responsive. The one bedroom with pull out couch was perfect for the three of us. I’d definitely stay at this property again and would recommend it for looking for a getaway to Boston. We found Uber was the best means of transportation for us, Uber drivers are plentiful. The best family vacation we’ve ever taken.

What a hidden treasure!!

Terry, the owner, was very easy to get ahold of and he was extremely hospitible. This hidden gem of a place was absolutely beautiful! AC was super appreciated, parking was a bit of a challenge but par for the course of Boston, personal touches made it feel like home, LOTS of tourist info, easy tv use in livingroom and bedroom, an Alexa was an added bonus, comfy bed and lots of pillows to choose from, kitchen was a perfect size with all that we needed for food/ meal prep, plenty of storage for personal items and a short walk to the T and/ or other sites. Neighborhood was better than expected. LOVED it here and would definitely recommend!!

Beautiful Boston home!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The place was perfect for the three of us. Everything was well taken care of and clean. Staying here made our visit to Boston even more fun. We enjoyed walking to the subway, park and art museum which were within easy walking distance. The owners responded quickly to questions and we had no problems during our stay. I would love to stay here again. The only things I would want to make sure were known that I wasn’t aware of is that it is a second floor walk up and the claw tub could be difficult for people with mobility issues. Neither of these impacted our stay but if you have trouble with stairs or getting in a tall tub this wouldn’t be a great place for you. For us though it was perfect!

Comfortable city living in restored 1860s row house

This was perfect for our extended weekend stay in Boston for events at Tufts University School of Medicine. Easy walk to the T Station, Roxbury Crossing, Orange Line. Walkable to Fenway and also Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We enjoy both art and baseball, just like Isabella herself. Kitchen was great for breakfast and night time tea. It might not be for everyone because dimensions are a little tight, but we enjoy a communal space for our family instead of getting two hotel rooms. One thing to consider, the sleeper sofa may be getting a bit long in the tooth; the bar made for a tough sleep and a back ache the following day.

Nice touches

My daughter and I enjoyed our weekend stay in this property. After long day of travel, it was really nice to walk into perfect dim lighting and classical music playing softly. Made for a very welcoming and cozy experience. Super clean and very nice details like Nest shampoo and soaps. They have done such a nice job with the decor and lighting. Perfect for my daughter and me and I was pleasantly surprised by the inflatable mattress in the pullout! It was so comfortable and worked great! Our only recommendation would be to invest in or two cozy throw blankets :-). Very very quiet street. The weather didn’t cooperate but the bus we did take was an easy walk. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for the nice accommodations!
