Very Clean with great view

Beautiful Condo

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful and modern. It had almost everything that we needed including beach necessities. A few things that could have made it better would be a full size mirror and a cutting board.The other thing is, we never got any response from anyone regarding early check in. Tried multiple times to message owner but never got a response.

Good location

Short walk to the beach, but there were fast food tops and straws under the couch. The dishwasher was broken the entire time we were there. I would stay at Luau again but will ask that all appliances be checked before coming. There was also only one skillet.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sofa old and brokwn down and uncomfortable, so only the one swivel chair to sit for one of us only..Floors were dirty (sandy) upon arrival, but were cleaned again by maintenence after about 2 weeks here. Pool at Luau not heated and no heat in the hot tub as heatng unit broken.I'm here for anoher month. One of the reasons I chose here was for the ottub/spa for my arthritis.

Dissatisfied with response to appliance issues

The condo was clean & comfortable. We stayed 3 nights at this condo & the first night we were there we called in a problem to the property manager regarding the oven not working properly. It was never addressed & the oven was never fixed. We had planned to cook several of our meals in the condo using the oven while we were there & could not do so. We were very disappointed with how this issue was handled (not handled).

A Great Place To Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed as a single occupant attending a nearby conference. This place was clean, located a very short walk to the beach (no golf cart required!), had a tram pickup location right outside the gate, and of most importance to me, was very quiet and peaceful even though I had loud neighbors across the hall. I couldn't even hear them once I was inside the condo. The keyless entry is fantastic and convenient. They even provide a rudimentary beach chair and umbrella inside the closet for you to take to the beach. I found the lookout to be peaceful, you can still see the ocean from the porch. The pictures don't do it justice, it is quite large and has doors that separate every room. The kitchen was extremely clean. Having a gated entry to the resort also adds another small element of safety and I felt very safe walking around in the evenings.

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: PROs: The location and view was great! Close to the beach, outlet mall and activities around the area. There is a lot of parking spaces. The property was clean and the decor fits the location. CONS: Property management did not send me the code for the door. Luckily the cleaning person was inside the property and helped us obtain the code. The door to the balcony is hard to close and lock. Bed in master’s bedroom was comfortable although needed more pillows. Pull-out couch mattress is non- existent, really flimsy and you will end up sinking off the bed. I was bitten by something on the bar chair cushion that left hives all over my left leg. It was really bad that I had to get antihistamine cream for it.

Best End of Summer Getaway

We enjoy our stay we where only in the room in the evening and some mornings. The kids had a blast being able to cook like they where at home. I loved the patio view. The home was spacious and clean everyone was nice. Management came out to fix a miner issue with the washer/ dryer, they came out in a timely manner. We would recommend.

Clean and roomy. Had everything we needed for our stay. Great property location with a large pool area and on-site tiki bar. Short walk to the beach. Convenient to many great restaurants and shopping. Only problem? Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

We had a wonderful experience staying in Luau tower 2 room 6429. The space was clean and just the right size for our family. The convenience to the beach was nice as well. My one and only complain is that as we were leaving to go out for dinner, I spotted staff in the parking garage folding what appeared to be clean towels and as they were doing so, they were smoking. They seemed to not care that their cigarettes were over the towels as they folded allowing ashes to fall. We would definitely consider staying here again on our next beach trip!! We loved it!

Perfect getaway

Loved our beach getaway. The amenities of the Sandestin resorts at the Luau and surrounding properties are great. This particular unit is a little outdated but still nice with basic needs. My biggest complaint is the bedroom—the mattress is uncomfortable & the sheets are very cheap and “scratchy” in texture. Also kitchen isn’t fully equipped with little things that make a nice difference when renting a condo—no oven mits, water/drink pitchers, wine opener, no little perk touches like coffee or spices or basic cleaning supplies other then a small bottle of dawn and one pack of laundry & dishwasher detergent. So just be prepared to pack all those little things so you can make the most of your trip and spend less time at Walmart! Also on a more personal FYI- I tried to re-schedule this reservation last minute to a different week in the year bc of all the protests/riots in Atlanta. I’m a nurse & my boyfriend is an APD officer on the frontlines and he was told he would not be allowed to leave the city (even after having the time off previously approved). And I didn’t feel safe traveling alone. I talked to a few different people at the safe haven office about our situation but received a hard “no” from all about rescheduling bc everything in Destin was open ams “back to normal.”—I even offered to pay a little more or just have a credit for a different week in the year. Still a hard no response. If a frontline healthcare worker & a police officer can’t get the smallest break during a covid pandemic AND riots/protests across our nation, I don’t know who can.... Thankfully we were both able to take off last minute for at least part of this reservation and still go. But needless to say—Based on principle and customer service alone, I will never book with safe haven and/or this particular unit again.

Great Summer Get Away

My daughter (age 7) and I really enjoyed our stay at Luau II 6429 in Sandestin. Communication by property management was superb from check in to check out and was readily available when needed. The condo was very clean upon arrival and well organized. The location of the condo was great, from parking, loading and off loading and only a few mins walk to the beach. The owners keep an umbrella, some chairs and some kid toys for your use on the beach which was a nice little add in. The pool is very nice. Sandestin is always a great little getaway and we will be going back

Great location.

The location was great. Very short walk to the beach, easy to jump from the pool to the beach and vise versa. We rented bikes for the week through Costal Cruisers and would recommend! The room was clean and welcoming. The only change would be a more comfortable mattress for the pull out couch.

Excellent Property

Everything was wonderful from the ride on the tram to the village also baytown and the pool n fitness room was perfect

Very clean and neat

I always enjoy my stay at Luau this particular room was very cozy ..From the beach to pool area we had a blast as a family!
