casa mágica con estilo europeo, preciosas vistas, hermoso patio con una terraza y jardín. En el corazón del barrio de Los Feliz, donde todo es accesible, cerca de Silver Lake, Hollywood. La casa está situada en las colinas de Franklin con vistas al Observatorio Griffith, Hollywood, y el oeste de Los Angeles. En un día claro raro, el océano es visible. Este relajante es la escapada LA perfecto para el viajero de negocios o una familia pequeña en la necesidad de unas vacaciones de ensueño.

La casa es de 1400 pies cuadrados con dos dormitorios, sala familiar / den, dos baños, una sala de estar abierta con excelentes vistas de los alrededores. Tenemos un gran patio maravilloso, adosada con dos zonas de patio, huertas - el lugar perfecto para sentarse y ver la puesta de sol.

La cocina abierta isla es perfecta para cocinar y entretener. Está equipado con un sistema incorporado en el refrigerador Sub-Zero, parte superior de la estufa línea, horno, lavavajillas, refrigerador de vino, y el sistema Sonos. La mesa de comedor danesa vendimia se desarrolla para asentar 8. En la sala de estar, tenemos una vieja placa giratoria LP escuela y una gran cantidad de registros.

Las habitaciones están abajo. El dormitorio principal cuenta con un rey de California con una gran cantidad de espacio en el armario y TV de pantalla plana. El baño principal tiene baldosas de piedra y encimera y un precioso tocador de teca incorporada. La ducha incluye una unidad de vapor, ducha de lluvia y ducha de mano. El segundo dormitorio tiene un sofá que se despliega en una cama doble. El segundo cuarto de baño dispone de bañera, ducha y lavadora-secadora. En el estudio, hay un sofá en forma de L de plumón que puede dormir un adulto o dos niños. También hay un televisor de pantalla plana.

El acceso al jardín es a través de la segunda habitación. Hay dos zonas de patio para tomar en nuestro clima perfecto y unas vistas preciosas. Dependiendo de la época del año, las camas vegetales están creciendo col rizada, acelga, tomates, alcachofas, habas, y las flores silvestres. El patio parquizado es una explosión de color y incluye lavanda, suculentas, vid y flores nativas de California.

Shannon was a fantastic host and her house was truly magical. She greets you in person and even stocks some breakfast items. She was accommodating and very responsive. Her house is just what you'd want in an LA vacation and location, location, location couldn't be more perfect. Walkable to many restaurants and Griffith Park. We will be back!

Lovely stay in the hills

Cute and comfy, with amazing views - everything you need to enjoy your stay in Los Feliz. Walkable to Hillhurst and Vermont streets, as well as the junction. Shannon is a wonderful and obliging host!

Amazing Stay in Los Feliz

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! Shannon is such a thoughtful host - answering any questions you might have and stocking the fridge with some favorite breakfast items. The home has incredible views of LA, including Griffith Observatory. You can walk to Los Feliz and quickly drive to many other fun neighborhoods, but also it is nice to watch beautiful sunsets through the large windows on the top floor. Definitely highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Loved our stay in this charming house!

Shannon's property could not have been more lovely - the house is well decorated and very tidy, and there is a beautiful garden in the back with some amazing views of LA. Shannon herself was so nice and accommodating - she greeted us with a welcome basket filled with snacks and checked in periodically over the weekend to see how we were doing. The location also could not have been more perfect - it's a 5 minute drive from some amazing restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. I would definitely stay here again!

Art in the Garden

This is a beautiful home with paintings, pottery, and other artwork everywhere. A nice view of the L.A. hills and city lights. The location is excellent, in a very quiet neighborhood. The hostess went out of her way to make us comfortable. 5 stars!!

Perfect Place

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home while visiting our son who lives nearby in Silver Lake. We loved our stay and look forward to returning. Shannon is a wonderful host; she reached out ahead of time to ask what she could buy us to have on hand for breakfast. She's very friendly and easy to communicate with. The home is beautiful and very comfortable with great views of the Hollywood Hills . The kitchen is well stocked; her furnishings lovey; everything just fabulous!

An absolute paradise

I don't think I've ever loved a vacation rental more. Gorgeous, spacious home; room for our family (including a toddler) to spread out and roam around (including a divine garden); perfect stocked kitchen, lovely books and art. This is the kind of LA house you dream of owning and living in. It's a perfect, quiet escape in the middle of this over-energized city. What a treat. We'll be back.

Best place in LA to rent!

This was my husband and my first visit to Los Angeles and we were at a loss on where to stay in this sprawling city. We had tickets to a Dodgers game and a concert at The Greek and decided that Los Feliz/Silverlake neighborhood are was close so looked there. That is where we found Shannon's home and we could not have wished for a better place. The home is beautiful with a terrific and homey layout. The bed was very comfy and the living area with living, dining and kitchen was perfect for our needs. Shannon even asked us what we would like for breakfast and provided everything on our list! But the backyard/garden is the most beautiful part of the house. Gorgeous plants and flowers and the view of the city is unbeatable. We were out there every morning and evening. But the best part of our stay was the host. Shannon was kind, generous and communicative - simply perfect! We will stay here every time we are in LA! The Dodgers lost that weekend, but were the ultimate winners with this rental!

Idyllic Mid-Century Modern House

Right in the middle of all our favorite spots in LA, sitting on the side of a hill with a 140 degree view, we spent six days living the good life. We had plans to visit a museum with our kids, but instead, found ourselves spending our mornings reading through the library at the house and drinking coffee. Our host, who could not be more hospitable, offers up her record collection, and a turntable to play them on, so we were able to enjoy our kids freaking out over how cool a record player really is. I highly recommend the Nigerian jazz record. I am going to guess that the house was built around 1950 , and it is a great representation of what Mid-Century modern represents. The custom furnishings are perfectly suited for the space, and when you look outside, you can see for miles. There is a large outdoor area that is, private, furnished, and is a half day adventure, if you are into plants. Obviously, we loved our stay, and i know different people like different things, but i can't imagine anyone being disappointed after staying here. We felt like we got way more than we were expecting.

Amazing place and host

As a group of four adults (one couple and two singles), the house was a perfect fit for us. It was well-appointed, artfully decorated, and more spacious than we expected. The backyard garden is gorgeous. Shannon was a warm and responsive host. Highly recommend!

A visit with views and a personal touch

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Los Feliz! Los Feliz is a very cool neighborhood in L.A. that is located in the hills and has beautiful views. Shannon was attentive to every detail of our visit, even reaching out prior to our stay to make sure she provided us with the creamer we preferred for the delicious coffee she provided! We appreciated the personal touch, as she met with us and gave us a tour of the property when we arrived. The home is beautiful! Every room has bright sunlight and gorgeous views. The master bed was very comfortable and the guest room had a pull out sofa that was perfect for our teenage daughter. There are also lovely tiered gardens to enjoy the outdoors. We would be delighted to stay here again!

A total -GEM-.....both the House and the Host!

Shannon is absolutely lovely, the place is amazing and spotless, and the location is (I'm a native Angelino) one of the prime pieces of real estate in the entire city. If you want an amazing home for your trip--and a proper "LA" experience w/o the tourist feeling--this is it for you. One of the best BnB experiences I have ever had. My colleague agrees that it was a true home away from home. -Roger

Great Place to Stay in East LA

I had a great experience staying at Shannon's home. It was spacious and sunny, with lots of windows. There's a beautiful garden and outdoor area, as well as several cozy spaces to hang out inside. Shannon could not have been more helpful and accessible during my stay. She was always available via text or call to answer any questions and provide information and updates about the house. Lastly, it is a wonderful location that is within close walking distance of many nice places to get a coffee or a meal. It is also a short drive from a ton of great places for food / drinks / nightlife / shopping / etc... while still being in a quiet and homey neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Back for More!

This was our second visit in 3 months and we'll be back again soon! So comfortable, accessible and absolutely perfect for our needs. I will keep this brief as it is our second review but can't sign off without again mentioning what a perfect tone Shannon sets as a host. That's the word "perfect" in 2 of 4 sentences.... Guess that says it all.

Love this home!!

It's been a week since we returned from LA to frigid Massachusetts and we haven't had one morning when we haven't started off saying how much we wish we were still staying in Shannon's home. And we promise that it's not just because of the weather! We spent 8 nights there in December. Shannon met us upon arrival, showed us around, made sure we knew where things were and answered our questions. During the stay, she checked in once by text and otherwise left it to us to be in touch should we need anything. The perfect balance of host/guest interaction. The house was perfect for us. Amazing location, lovely outdoor spaces to spend time in and an interior full of whimsical details and pretty much everything/anything we might have needed to use to make our stay comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the bed in the master bedroom was fantastic and when our adult son visited, the media room sofa served him perfectly. The neighborhood is quiet and right near the busiest and most interesting parts of Los Feliz, Silver Lake and Hollywood. We highly recommend staying here and intend to do so ourselves as soon as we can. Once the snow melts so we can open our back door...... Thank you, Shannon!

Great Location

We were able to drive to the Hollywood tourist areas, Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice Beach easily from this location. The house had nice views from the back of the house. The snacks and breakfast food provided by the owners were a nice touch. The owner was easy to reach by text or email if we had questions about the house. It suited our needs perfectly because we were visiting our daughter who lives in Los Feliz.

Luckily I live in a great neighborhood where Hollywood was born - Los Feliz, close to the original Walt Disney Studio and Cecil B. De Mille's house. It's paradise here and I hope to share it!

We live in the heart of the Franklin Hills - an historic Los Angeles neighborhood nestled between Los Feliz and Silver Lake. Within walking distance are beautiful restaurants, bars, hiking trails, shopping, grocery shopping, and all the amenities needed.

Our home is situated on a hillside facing west with breathtaking sunset views and cool breezes coming from the ocean. Surrounding our neighborhood are several sets of staircases for great workouts or beautiful walks.
