A fabulous house for a large group beautifully furnished and well equipped. The outside space is dreamy, plenty of space for everyone to relax and perfect for outdoor dining.The location is ideal too. A 5 minute walk to the wonderful daily market and a 5 minute bike ride to the nearest beach. The host was very attentive and responsive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and amazing stay

We were two families meeting on île de Ré with one baby, 3 children aged under 9, one teen and 4 adults. The house is extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated with everything one needs to spend a memorable vacation. We loved it all around.

A Great Stay in Bois-Plage-en-Re

A wonderful week staying in Bois-Plage-en-Re as an adult family with friends. Location of the house was perfect, close to the town and the beach. The house is beautiful and perfect for a group of family and friends. A nice pool with a good outside area. A large garage to store bikes. Parking is a bit pot luck. We were lucky we got parking in the road and rarely used the cars after our arrival. Kitchen is well equipped and the bbq ok. Main bedroom was lovely with en-suite shower and loo, other bedrooms had showers but no loo, so had 3 doubles sharing one loo. The annex was a real bonus. All in all a really lovely stay and we would thoroughly recommend the property. My only comment would be that Claire who checked us in, who seemed very nice, didn’t speak a word of English which made the check in process a bit tricky. We would definitely stay here again.

Havre de paix au centre de Bois Plage

Magnifique séjour dans cette très belle maison, parfaitement décorée et confortable. Toutes les chambres sont magnifiques avec sdb privatives. Cette maison permet de se réunir en famille tout en préservant une belle intimité ! Idéalement située au cœur du village, 5’ à pied du marché et 15’ de la plage. Bon rapport qualité / prix À recommandé absolument !

Family holiday

This is a lovely property in a very good position on the edge of town. 4/5 minutes walk from market, shops, restaurants, and supermarket. About 10mins cycle to a long sandy beach. The main house has a large sitting/ dinning area. A small snug with tv. The kitchen has pretty much all you will need. Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with showers and a shared toilet. The master bedroom has bath/shower and it’s own toilet. Outside is a undercover eating area with a bbq and sink. The courtyard is very nice with good size pool decking all round and loungers cushions and canvas chairs. To one side is a tropical garden. At the other end of the courtyard are two more bedrooms with a shared shower and toilet. We very much enjoyed are staying at this property.

Fantastic May Half term Break

We were three families with 5 children in total aged between 2 and 6. The house is finished to a high standard and had everything you might need. Things you might not learn from the listing: the pool cover is automatic, with multiple young children it was nice to be able to do this quickly when we weren't using the pool (the cover is not a specific child safety cover but provides some protection). Cycling bikes around the island with all the kids in trailers was an absolute highlight - the cycle paths are amazing, saint martin de re is about a 15 min cycle away. The garage fits 6 bikes + 3 trailers in it. There is a decent play area walking distance from the house. Every beach we tried was great for sandcastle building.

Maison super agréable et confortable

La maison est conforme à sa description avec une belle cours intérieur tout ça dans la tranquillité à proximité des commodités et de la plage. Seul bémol pour l’arrivée à 18h la maison n’était pas prête.

Une maison d'exception

Il n'y a pas grand chose à dire car c'est une maison très agréable pour des vacances reposante avec détente assurée. Elle est parfaite pour des vacances réussies. On n'aimerait ne pas faire d'éloge sur cette propriété pour s'en garder la primeur. Je n'en dirais pas plus car ce n'est pas nécessaire tant il y a de choses positives à dire.

Wonderful family holiday

The property is in a perfect location, close to everything you need. Lovely bike rides to other towns and villages. There is plenty to see and do on the island. The villa is well equipped throughout with everything you need, lovely pool area and we had BBQs on a daily basis. Bedrooms are nice and big and there is plenty of space, we were a family of 10 people and it was perfect! Thanks for a brilliant holiday!

Incredibly stylish house, perfectly situated for enjoying the town and exploring the island

We had a fabulous stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived and well set up for two families. We really enjoyed the heated pool, music system, and outdoor fireplace for long cosy chats and playing games with the kids. We all loved the local market, beech, horse riding and of course the family cycling to all the lovely restaurants Sylvain suggested. Probably the happiest holiday we’ve had in years !

A stunning house in the most delightful location

Such a stylish but comfortable family home. The pool area is utterly stunning and so private. We enjoyed amazing BBQs (with stunning ingredients from the morning town market). You have to park your car and then rent bikes. It’s the only way to travel around the island using the special bike paths - breath-takingly beautiful. The beach is a 5 mins cycle ride. Completely unspoilt and not crowded. Great waves to play in St Martin is an excellent 20mins cycle ride where you can eat moules/pizza looking across the port. The giant ice cream stall is also not to be missed! Lemon meringue was a massive winner! Such wonderful memories and so relaxing. Can’t thank you enough Sylvain.

Fantastic house for 12 people. 6 bedrooms with lots of ensuites ( so no hanging round for a shower).

We had a family holiday in this house last week and it was perfect. Lots of room inside and out, a good pool and loungers, 2 big tables to sit everyone (1 outside and 1 in ). A well equipped kitchen with lots and lots of china cutlery and glasses. Great position too- a short walk to market ( daily) and shops, bars and 10 min stroll to beach. In all in all a great house. Expensive but worth it!!

MAGNIFIQUE MAISON, TRES BIEN SITUEE

Très très belle maison. Très bien décorée. On s'y sent comme chez soi. (belle collection de CD !) La maison est très fonctionnelle et très bien décorée. 6 chambres de grandes tailles, des salles de bain superbe. Nous avons tous merveilleusement bien dormi. On ne peut être que sous le charme. Une piscine ainsi qu'une cuisine extérieure, un salon et de jolis transats, le tout sans aucun vis à vis, sont très appréciable. La maison se situe au milieu de l'ile, au Bois Plage, à quelques pas de la boulangerie et à quelques pas du marché qui a lieu tous les jours. Une adresse qu'on préférerait garder pour soi en fait ! Foncez. Vous allez ADOOOORER.

Magnificent!

This house exceeded all expectations! Nicest house in all of Bois Plage! It is beautifully decorated, very spacious and just stunning overall. The outdoor area is great as well! The location is perfect-close to beach and center of town. Walk to the market is less than 5 minutes! The owner is very nice and easy to work with. Very accommodating! I would recommend this to all of my friends! I will be renting again next summer!

Well appointed and located, spacious property

In easy walking distance of Le Bois village and beach, this property has been thoughtfully refurbished to a high standard and offers spacious accommodation which includes an annexe with two bedrooms. The property is equipped to a good specification and enjoys a courtyard/pool area with excellent privacy.
