Great make up vacation

Our flight was cancelled last minute so we had to make other arrangements for our vacation. We booked last minute and joey made everything easy. Great view in a quiet mountain setting

Beautiful views!

Joey is a real nice fella. Place was just as listed. Views were great. Relaxing back porch and fire pit area. Had steaks on the provided Weber grill. Having fire wood provided was very nice…I think it was poplar and popped quite a bit…outside in the fire pit it was fun, but not sure I’d trust it in the house even with a screen. Wonderful and relaxing stay just 25-35 into Ashville. It could use a good scrub mostly on the outside and seems like too many of the outlets were so loose they wouldn’t hold items plugged into them….but minor issues considering how great the overall experience was. Thanks for a fun week! : )

Awesome place to stay

My family and I were there for a wedding, this place was perfect! Joey was awesome! The view was spectacular… I could literally sit there all day, made it hard to leave!

Absolutely Wonderful

The cabin was amazing. Staying here gave me and my friends exactly the mountain trip we wanted. The road to get there is pretty curvy with beautiful views along the way, but it’s still only 25 minutes from downtown Asheville. The property was so peaceful. We really felt like we were a part of the mountain. The owner greeted us and our dog when we got there, showed us around and then gave us our privacy to enjoy. It was nice knowing that he was at the bottom of the hill just in case tho. We are already planning our next trip back and will absolutely stay here again. Cannot recommended enough. Thank you Joey for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Beautiful, peaceful location

This cabin and the view are even more beautiful than the pictures show. We had 2 adults and 2 dogs, and the 4 of us had a great stay. The quiet beauty of the valley isn't far from restaurants, shopping, hiking or sightseeing. I look forward to a return visit.

Mystic Valley Cabin, A Must See and Stay

For those wanting to get away but not to far, Mystic Valley cabin offers a rustic comfortable home away from home. We enjoyed the mountain views, comforts of home and the short drive to downtown Asheville. We enjoyed the peaceful outdoors to unwind and recharge on the back porch and by the fire pit while watching our two labs run around. Joey was pleasant and greeted us upon arrival. After settling in, he checked to ensure we had everything we needed. A Must See and Stay! Deets Family

Mystic Valley Vacation

We loved staying at the Mystic Valley Cabin...unbelievable views from the front porch...it was very difficult at times to leave to do other things that we had planned because it was so peaceful and restful there! The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed and our fur babies loved it too. Our host, Joey, was welcoming and made us feel at home. It was a wonderful vacation and we look forward to taking another vacation at Mystic Valley. Sabrina Hernandez

Great stay with beautiful views

We had a great time. The cabin is very cozy and it was so nice that we could bring our three dogs. We loved our stay, the beautifully landscaped yard, and especially the mountain views from the porch. It’s very peaceful and we were sad to leave. The cabin has strong internet. We were able to work remotely and even participate in video calls with our cameras on. Joey is very welcoming and thoughtful and even brought us local blackberries that were delicious. Thanks for everything. We will recommend the cabin to others.

Perfect Location

If you are looking for a getaway and not be too far removed from Asheville, this place is the perfect solution! Super clean and well equipped private cabin with spectacular views from the covered porch. Quick ride to conveniences and access to the Asheville area. Mr. Ross could not have been any friendlier and really helpful. He checked in with us to make sure we were situated. Great property for our dog as she got in those mountain air sniffs. We enjoyed morning coffee and early evenings on the covered porch. Inside accommodations included 3 spacious bedrooms, a great living room and equipped kitchen. This cabin is a great choice for anytime of the year. We felt lucky to find this place on VRBO and so fortunate that Mr. Ross has shared this beautiful cabin with guests.

Fur family

Wonderful long weekend away. Amazing mountain atmosphere with a morning view to take your breath away. I've never been somewhere as pet friendly and accommodating as this property. It is wonderful to travel ad a full family with children and fur babies and feel welcome and at home.

Great cabin with a view

We really enjoyed our stay here with the family. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped with everything needed. The only thing I would mention is the 2nd bathroom has no shower and only a tub. It worked out fine for us since we were a family and we all used the one shower in the main bathroom. we will still recommend to family and friends and we will be back again!

Great Stay!

We had an amazing time it the cabin. It was just as described and Joey was great. Even checked in to make sure we arrived safely as we got there after dark the night before. A short drive to Asheville with beautiful scenery. Would definitely stay here again .

Great views!

We really enjoyed the cabin. This is an authentic log cabin that has been in the family for generations. It felt special to have the opportunity to stay here. The cabin was clean, well furnished, very comfortable. We especially appreciated the ample wood provided for an indoor and outdoor fire. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a winter storm. We were not refunded for this loss of day, but were offered a free day if we ever come back. A couple of things to note: the wifi is not good enough for zoom meetings, the hot water tank did not provide enough hot water for a bath, you cannot use the fireplace in the bedroom, the address listed for this property was not found on any of my 3 direction apps, but it does work through VBRO, and the owner did not respond through VBRO message but was very responsive by phone.

Home away from home

This cabin was more than what we expected, it was a spacious comfortable place for our family to spend New Years eve and day. Our dogs were welcomed just as we were with special towels and sheets so they could snuggle with us. It was quiet and the scenery was gorgeous! We were about 45 mins from the Biltmore for our trip. Joey was an amazing host, very hospitable and was available if we needed him as he was just down the road. We will most definitely stay here again.

The cabin is so comfortable and roomy . The view from the front porch is amazing overlooking the valley . Driving and exploring the area was a treat , scenic mountain drives and only 20-25 minutes to Biltmore. We definitely look forward to booking this cabin again !!!

Country calm

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving get-away at this cabin. The views from the deck were so beautiful. 35 mins to downtown Asheville made for a fun day trip. Clean, well stocked kitchen & wood for fire, very comfortable bed. Overall, a great stay.

Beautiful view, toddler and dog friendly

We had a wonderful time in this cabin. We have a two year old and the house was very toddler friendly. Not a lot for her to get into. My dog LOVED the yard. We especially appreciated the towels for the dog separate from the human towels. The king bed was comfortable as well. The owner Joey provided firewood for fires. We made fires two of the three nights we were there. It was a highlight of our trip. Thanks again!

Ups and Downs

The cabin was beautiful. It was well kept very clean and Charming. The manager was very helpful and did anything we asked. He is very personable and we enjoyed talking with him. The area is beautiful and the countryside was colorful. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and family
