Our family had a really great time in Winter Park! The location was great and we could walk anywhere we needed to go. We enjoyed the decks in the mornings and the hot tub in the evenings!

Great location, comfortable condo

Location was perfect, walking distance to town and short drive to hill. Hot tub was unusable when we arrived, emailed property manger twice with no response and then called. Had hot tub serviced but never available for our use. Kitchen could use a deep cleaning but other than those two things property was nice.

Great location, needs some TLC

Couldn't ask for a better location right in the middle of Winter Park. Have stayed in this complex previously and love the area. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit and some of the furnishings. We had a few issues with the property, specifically the pilot light was not lit on the HW heater and had I not had a brother that is a plumber that I could face time we would have went the first night without HW. The dishwasher would not drain all the way and overall the unit was not that clean.

Todd, the homeowner would like to share the following message: "The dishwasher is less than a year old, and I'm so sorry it failed! The last time we had guests stay, there was no report on this issue. I also want to apologize for the pilot light - You were the first people in the unit since the beginning of March, and we had not received any reports from the inspections from the HOA. It sounds like it was so many unknown factors to us that made your stay not as pleasant as you would like. We hope our guests will reach out to the local guest contact to report any issues during their stay. We want to make all our guests as comfortable as possible. Thank you for the feedback!"

Location not accurate

We Really enjoyed our stay overall but a few things were disappointing. The biggest one was that the location was not at all accurate from the map in the listing. The property is actually in the downtown area not in Old Town Winter Park. It worked out ok but I felt lied to a little and realized I had to read some of the reviews to figure that out. I shouldn’t have to do that. Also, the bedding was low quality and the bunk beds in the lower floor had some broken supports the the mattresses weren’t comfortable. We felt like we got our value for the money but I won’t stay here again.

Great location in Winter Park.

The photos looked amazing and the location was just what we were looking for to spend time with our family of 6. Unfortunately, the airlines cancelled our flights and only 2 of our group, who live in the Denver area, were able to use the condo. They said it was great and gave us a Zoom tour, which looked nice. Based on the tour, renters should be aware that to access the hot tub you need to go through the bedroom with the queen bed. Since there were only two people in the condo this was not an issue but if all 6 of us had been there, one couple would have had to be okay with people traipsing through their bedroom. The two people who made it to the condo enjoyed their stay and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location is great with easy access to the town. My “note to self” is to never, ever book without trip/cancellation insurance, however. We had already paid the $6,500 for the 6 days/5 nights and there was nothing that VRBO/Evolve could or would do about it. This is not the fault of the owner - we were just so disappointed to be unable to have our vacation and enjoy the condo.

Winter Park Vacation

Overall, our stay was positive. I enjoyed having a front and back balcony and there was a lot of natural light. The kitchen was fairly well stocked, although there was food/drinks left in the fridge from previous renters and I find that very unappealing. There was a strong smell in the kitchen. I found a piece of baloney or hot dog under the dish drainer which makes me wonder if the counters were ever wiped down following the previous renters. The fireplace didn't work and even though one of our guests was quite knowledgeable, they were uneasy about trying to repair it. The hot tub had several issues. The jets were not working well, so we had to take turns sitting in the corner that wasn't working. Also, the hot tub had a water intake vent in the bottom. The vent is not covered by a screen and my spouse and I put our feet to close to the vent and it sucked our feet in to the point of bruising. If a child were to get to close, a more serious injury could occur. One final issue was our inability to get in touch with the contact person. We tried calling several times prior to our arrival. Her voice mailbox was full and it was impossible to leave a message. We tried email which went unanswered. I finally called Evolve several times to see how to get in touch with someone. They gave me the owners number who returned my call and answered my questions...but should I really have to track someone down. The whole point was to have a stress free stay.

The property map shows this property being in Old Town Winter Park. It’s actually behind Hideaway Park downtown Winter Park. If you want to be downtown it’s a fantastic place!

Perfect location and beautiful cozy place

We loved the house. Conveniently located near all attractions. Great restaurants near by and just steps away from the Rendezvous Center. The house has plenty of space for our family and it was fully equipped to meet our needs. We’ll definitely keep it marked as a place to go back when we come back to Winter Park.

Quick getaway

This property worked well for us. Three adults in WP to ski/ride. Location is ok, quite a distance to parking but on the shuttle route. Seemed closer according to the listing but worked out fine since we had vehicles. Enjoyed the condo, hot tub is always a welcome end to the day!!
