Situated in the desirable private Pochet Association area of East Orleans, this spacious four bedroom Cape Cod home makes for a perfect place for your whole group to stay! At the end of the short dirt road (1/10th a mile from the house) is a foot bridge for private access to coveted Nauset Outer Beach! The open and spacious interior allows for your family to spread out and relax after a day spent at the beach. This home is a great choice for a group who wants to be in a quintessential Cape Cod neighborhood. There are ductless AC in every room and a full well equipped kitchen with new appliances to prepare meals. The first floor has one bedroom with 2 twin beds and the other with a queen and full bath with a tub. Second floor features two more additional guest rooms (both with king beds) with full bath with a tub. Enjoy this peaceful setting with lovely gardens and beautiful outdoor patio. Play a yard game in the private yard-perfect for enjoying dinner or cocktails outside. The enclosed outdoor shower is available for those who prefer to rinse off outdoors under a star filled sky! An evening bbq, some yard games, board games, and many comfortable areas to sit and connecting with friends and family make this home an ideal choice for your next Cape Cod getaway! An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay. The house has a terrific location with a short walk to a neighborhood walkway to the beach. The natural beauty between the house and beach is stunning. Their section of beach is nice and doesn’t have any crowds. Landscaping is very very good. Kids had fun in the outdoor shower. 9:30 am checkout was super stressful. . House cleaners lurking about at the end of the driveway from 9 am onwards...which wasn’t cool. Keep in mind, you have to pack linens, clear the fridge/dishwasher, takeout trash and then get your personal packing done. It’s a lot of work. I’d stay in the area again, just be more careful about checkout time.

Basic cape in a great location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is in an amazing location - walking distance to a private ocean beach and in close proximity to the little shops in East Orleans. While the location is ideal, we found the house to be simple with limited amenities (e.g., AC only worked moderately well and not in all rooms) and the house was not clean upon our arrival. While the owner and real estate office were helpful and responsive in rectifying the issues re: cleanliness, keep in mind that this is a simple cape residence in a great location. If you're looking for an updated vacation home to enjoy, this one is not the one for you.

We had everything we needed and everything was very organized. We even found a much needed pencil sharpener! The landscaping is amazing with the hydrangeas winning the top price for color. The only negative, which was a biggy, was the ever present smell of dead mice in the kitchen. We burned scented candles, which helped a little, but we ended up spending little time in the there and eating our meals out.

Its a short walk to the beach which was never crowded. The house has beautiful gardens and patios which we enjoyed often. The bedrooms are in two areas so there is a lot of privacy. Large clean bathrooms. A wonderfully stocked kitchen which we used often since we cooked at home every night. Highly recommend. We hope to return next year!
