4th of July vacation Bass Lake

Perfect house for family and friends. Pet friendly so it was the perfect home away from home. The house was clean and spacious. Game room with a pool table, tv and more other games with lots of room to hold family gatherings and build memories. We drove to lake bass everyday which was less than 10 minutes away from the house. I highly recommend your group to bring walkie talkies as you lose reception at the lake as well as the drive to the lake. Easy to get lost or separated from your group.

Nice Cabin

Our stay turned out great. The Cabin was great! About a 10-15 min drive to the lake. It was fully furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. It was HOT so thank goodness for AC… There were a couple things that were a little bothersome. The bathroom showers and dishwasher had a bad smell coming from them. Not sure if it was the pipes or what. Also the floors were so dirty. In one second your feet were black! The neighbors had a few dogs and the whole time being there they barked. We couldn’t really sit on the deck cause that’s all we heard😖 Other than that the rooms were great and it was great for our family size.

Great Stay!!

House was as described. Owner was easy to communicate with if we had questions. They even left is a gift basket for thanksgiving (wine, cheese, bread and veggies). I highly recommend this home. Beautiful views and great places to walk the dogs and take in the fresh air and ambiance. My kids explored and enjoyed the spacious outdoors!

Bass Lake Family Reunion 2023

We were very pleased with the accommodations. I enjoyed the mornings sitting outside on the deck with a cup of coffee with the view through the pine trees. The house is on a hill surrounded by trees with a very beautiful setting. Some things to take into account are that the driveway is difficult to navigate, and the room with the bunkbeds is not conducive to adults. We did run into some issues. For our family reunion we had all adults with the youngest being 22 years old, so the room with the bunk beds did not comfortably fit the people who used it. I would recommend these accommodations with this knowledge. The location is excellent. It is very close to Bass Lake and multiple beautiful hikes. We did spend a day in Yosemite. The manager of the property was very helpful. You will be going up and down a set of stairs to access the property. It was very nice that we were able to bring our dogs.

Perfect getaway!

We came with my daughter and a few of her friends for an early graduation celebration. The cabin was a perfect layout with the upstairs bunk area and separate game room. I had a few questions when we got there and the host was very responsive. One of my kids left an item behind and she was most helpful in tracking it down. I recommend this cabin and would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a family gathering

Spacious home for our party of 8 and two large dogs. Enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Loved that our pets could join us and that outdoor smoking was acceptable (truly a rarity!)

Beautiful but stairs

The house was beautiful but it never occurred to me that there were stairs to get to the front door. My husband uses a cane and it was difficult for him to get in and out and basically didn't go to the other floors. I saw the stairs in the pictures but .....just thought maybe a note in advising that not for the disabled.

North Fork Rental for Bass Lake vacation

This was a clean well put together house for our summer trip to Bass Lake. We have been going there for years, but this is the first time we rented a house instead of camped. So glad we did, there was a heat wave coming through, and this place was nicely cooled. No complaints, everything was exactly as expected!

30th birthday bash

Had the best time with my friends and family celebrating my 30th birthday! The house was great. Very comfortable, lots of room, loved the patio, pool table, and fire pit. We brought cornhole and played in the drive way. Not too far of a drive to Bass Lake! Great Memorial Day/Birthday weekend!

Bed in Master bedroom, Mattress is below average. should be pointed out on Vrbo that the game room with pool table has no access from inside the house. All in all we had a great time, snowed in for 4 days but we had planned for that so it was no problem

Nice getaway

We rented this cabin over the Thanksgiving weekend to spend with family. Very clean with all of the amenities in a forest setting. Just a few miles from bass lake and around 25 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of room, even a game room with a pool table on the lower level. It was a nice, peaceful forest setting with several patios, even deer walking right outside the cabin. I had a couple simple questions and the host replied within a few minutes. It was my first time renting through VRBO, a very good experience, I’d highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house Amazing weekend !!

My family and I enjoyed the stay at this beautiful house. It was very clean and large made it comfortable for everyone. I received fast response with the owner if I had any questions. The best part was going to the lake during the day (only 6 mins from bass lake) and then enjoying the games with the family once we got back (pool table, large connect four, ect). Kids really loved that. It was definitely a great weekend, can't wait to rebook a stay in January!

A look to consider

The home is very spacious with a pool table in the lower level and fire pit outside with a lot of seating around the home. Lots of stairs. Home is sitting on top of a steep hill. A short drive from Bass Lake and reasonably priced. We did have some AC issues since arriving which really make the stay less enjoyable during the summer. Owner stated that system cannot go below 70 degrees otherwise it will cause the system to freeze up. I am from a fairly hot weather area with triple digits that require AC to be on all day for several days. Family friend in the field advise the system needs service shouldn't occur no matter the degrees and time usage. This is known issues based on prior reviews. The top room never cooled down. Some individuals did not venture to the lake and endured 85 temperatures during the day. Our group was a good size with various ages from infant and elderly and while with special needs. We were not able to exit the home by checkout. We were about 35 minutes over. The cleaning lady was annoyed and decided to yell and glare at us as we loaded up. We took longer to ensure all trash was taken out, dishes cleaned, and personal items collected. This is my VRBO rental but not my first home rental. Have a great guest reputation. The treatment of the cleaning crew was awful and very upsetting to everyone. We understood the inconvenience it causes them and apologize. We left then 5 minutes after getting yelled at. Owner expressed their desire to pass on the extra charge for cleaning but opted for a wash for the AC issue. Somehow several days of non functional AC equates to a 150 30-40 minutes charge for cleaning. The owner was more concern with her cleaning crew's perspective and cost than our stayed.

Great Bass Lake place to stay

The house was amazing, more room than we needed. The outdoor campfire and room with pool table were a great way to spend time with family. AC worked great. A warning to boat owners, dont try to get the boat in the driveway, I tried and got stuck for a while.

Lovely home in the trees

This was a beautiful home that had everything and more! Tons of trees and beautiful deck to hang out on. Only about 12 min drive to the lake! My family loved the pool room and games provided! Home was well stocked but only downfall is the air conditioner didn’t work well at times. Great place for a family vacation but if going in summer bring some fans! Would definitely recommend!!

North Fork Cedar Cabin

Cabin was very clean and spacious, everyone was happy to have their own bedroom with comfortable bedding! Family really enjoyed playing pool, this was a great asset and having NETFLIX! The decks are wonderful and provide a lot of seating. We were pleased that the BBQ was clean and large. We didn't mind the steep driveway, other than the fact that access to the driveway was somewhat restrictive, don't suggest bringing your boat! Great value, would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Disappointing stay

The property was just as presented, however there was an issue with the AC. It was fine the 1st day but the AC didn’t work properly the next two and it was uncomfortably hot in the upper two levels, so much so that it was difficult to sleep. We also found wood ants coming into the upstairs bathroom and no bug spray on the property. We had to close off the bathroom to the kids. The property manager responded to my emails promptly but was unable to help the situation.

California vacation

Great vacation rental close to Bass lake and the national park. The house was clean and exceeded my expectations with all its amenities (propane grill, fire ring, pool table, and it’s assorted game’s). A perfect family vacation house.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Only stayed two nights, and went into Yosemite during the day. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the game room and fire pit, and just hang out and relax. You can tell they are in the process of doing upgrades, but the property was clean and in good condition. The property manager was very responsive to messages. The steep driveway was a bit of a challenge with our minivans, but we were very happy with our stay, and would definitely look to stay again in the future.

Loved our stay!

I rented this cabin for a group of 6 adults and 2 kids and it was an absolutely wonderful place to stay! It looked exactly as pictured and fit us all comfortably. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and was very helpful. Would definitely consider renting this cabin again.

I fall in love with this house for different reason,, really nice area, quiet and nice people around. Good location to Bass Lake, Yosemite, Oakhurst, North Fork, Manzanita Lake.
and the most i love cabin is surrounded by cedar pines. etc.
