"Memories" is a lovely sunny, warm, spacious and welcoming self-contained holiday home.

Memories is located at beautiful Foxton Beach within easy walking to the wonderful sights the beach has to offer. 3 minutes walk to the "Sunset Walkway" whereby every visit offers a different picture perfect experience.

This walk alongside the beautiful world acclaimed Manawatu Estuary, is the home to many species of bird life. 15 – 17 minutes walk to the fully patrolled swimming beach during the summer months.

We are close to a lovely recreation area that hosts an amazing pump park, skateboard park, children's play area, BBQ's, tennis courts and even an outdoor table tennis table and flying fox to complement the area.

Beautifully situated to make the most of 2 cafes, 2 restaurants and 2 fast food outlets, Memories is a relaxing, quite place to unwind.

If you're keen on fishing, the wharf next to the Manawatu Marine Boat Club along the river is a great spot to cast your line, along with fishing at the river mouth and fishing directly of the beach. There are several outlets that sell a variety of bait and fishing accessories located at Foxton Beach.

In the whitebait season the Manawatu River & Whitebait Creek are popular places to put on your waders and put your nets out.

You'll find more eating and coffee spots in Foxton township only 8 minutes drive away, along with some unique and kwerky shops and off course Foxton's own flour making De Mollen Windmill.

For those keen on Wakeboarding and obstacle inflatable parks, Foxton has a man made Wakeboard Park which also has a movie theatre and stimulator ride. The park is open between November - April.

There is a lovely back yard to enjoy with plants, herbs and in season vegetables, table & chairs.

A whole house water filtration system has been fitted with 6 stage filtration giving our guests premium water to drink and shower in.

There is a full kitchen with oven, microwave, cookware, crockery, cutlery, family size fridge/freezer and pantry to store you food.

The washing machine located in the bathroom which has been modernised with new flooring and vanity. There's also a shower on mains pressure with the addition of a rain-head.

There' s a 58" 2021 Smart TV for guests to use. No sky but Netflix, YouTube and freeview channels available.

The main bedroom is a double with a really comfy queen sized bed, with the second bedroom being very small with a single bed and shelving for extra storage, if guests require it.

For the comfort of our guests, we installed a band new heat pump in May 2022. The heat pumps keeps Memories lovey, toasty and warm.

Important:

For health & safety reasons, Memories is not suitable for those with mobility issues or use a wheel chair, walking frame or other mobilty aids as there are 2 steps into Memories.
