Getaway South Coast - House with Pool

Narooma is one of the coastal town in the Eurobodalla region of the NSW South Coast. The sparkling Wagonga Inlet, beautiful beaches, swimming, snorkelling and diving. It’s also the gateway to Montague Island, a spectacular wildlife wonderland. At Narooma Surf Beach, see the splendid ancient rock formations of Glasshouse Rocks and Pillow Lava. Soak up the town’s breathtaking scenery while you play a round at Narooma Golf Club, where the course overlooks the ocean.

The space
This is a great 4-bedroom 2.5 bathroom holiday house located on a privated 1.5 acre block in North Narooma with beautiful sandstone garden. Plenty of room to park a boat and cars, only a couple of minutes drive to some of Narooma's most beautiful and hidden beaches, the Narooma Township and the famous Narooma Golf Club. Also, the Narooma RSL Club which operates a courtesy bus service to and from the club so no need to drive if you choose to go our to the club for dinner and a few drinks.
Sit back and relax in the BBQ area or cook up some pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven while the kids play in the private salt-water pool and listen to birds sing or enjoy watching the wallabies from the covered deck. There is a cycle-way which runs from Narooma to Dalmeny. There is plenty of local activities such as fishing, golding, scuba diving, surfing, cycling, jogging, BBQ boat hire, Inlet Boat Cruise and local seal watching that can't be missed. Visit famous Tilba Tilba township, Bodalla Cheese Factory, Moruya Races and Potato Point to name a few! (Please check local news for all festivals around the area or what's on in Narooma for more details).

Pool opens during the summer months ( Middle Oct to end April).

We mostly enjoyed our stay here. The area is beautiful and we highly recommend beach days at Mystery Bay if you have little.ones and enjoy a snorkel! The property was a mixture of lovely and a little lacking. The beds were clean and comfy and the property is spacious. Outside, the garden was lovely, the pool was great and the pizza oven was excellent too. Our only real gripe was that the property could do with some TLC and the clealiness could do with a bit of attention. During our stay, the fridge stopped working so we lost a bunch of food on new years eve. The owners were responsive and offered a reimbursement for some of the food after much communication about the issue. Their communication throughout our stay was excellent and they were great with some suggestions on local beaches and attractions. On a side note, there was no coffee press or machine, so if you value your morning coffee maybe take something with you (none of the shops had any plungers!) as we ended up going into town daily to get coffees - not ideal for tired parents of young kids. And the pot/pan situation was pretty dire with teflon coating coming off - maybe take your own if you don't feel keen on ingesting that stuff.All in all, the property is in a nice setting with some good facilities and the hosts were good; if you don't expect anything super fancy, you wont be let down :)

Don't count on the pool being available

The property was nice, a little bit run down & grimy but beautiful outdoor areas. The noise from the busy road close by was loud. Was told on the day of our arrival that the pool was not usable, not explanation or offer of a refund. This was one of the main reasons we choose this property. The pool water was murky and the filters full of leaves, it didn't look like it had been maintained for a while.Tried to negotiate a hefty refund on the basis that if they had told us ahead of time we could have looked for another property. Their counteroffer was 5% of the total cost which we rejected. To the hosts credit they did offer us another night free but no one in our party could stay on. Ultimately asked for 12.5% of the total cost just to settle the matter but now the hosts are ignoring me. Stayz support have not been helpful. The hosts don't seem to understand their obligations under Australian consumer law.This was a big distraction from our holiday and we found it frustrating & stressful. We feel like we have been ripped off.

Our trip to Tilba Tilba

The property location and surrounding were stunning and beautiful. The owners were very friendly and approachable. However there was an unexpected message from the owner last minute that pool has an issue and we were advised not to use it which was a bit disappointing. The property is ideal for family with kids and has a snooker table and all entertainment facilities you may need. overall a very fun and pleasant stay. Thank you

Perfect for family of 5!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house, it had plenty of room for a family of 5 and the kids loved the pool and the pool table, which kept them well entertained. The size of the block is fantastic. Looking forward to returning to this house next time we visit Narooma.

Great holiday

We had a great time at Narooma. The kids enjoyed the pool and it was such a convenient location to the beach, boardwalk and other attractions.

Great holiday, thanks

We had a wonderful holiday here. It was spacious for our families and we had a lot of fun in the pool and playing in the grounds. The pizza oven worked a treat. Narooma is a beautiful part of the world, lovely beaches. A few more utensils in the kitchen would be handy, but overall it was a great space for multiple families.
